Description

Water boat pollution control device for offset printing machine
This invention relates to the prevention of pollution of water boats in offset printing machines.
In the offset printing machine, ink is supplied from the ink fountain to the plate cylinder via the ink fountain roller, the doctor roller, and the kneading roller. In addition, dampening water is supplied to the plate cylinder from a water boat via a water supply roller. Part of the ink on the plate cylinder adheres to the water supply roller, reaches the water tank, mixes with the dampening water in the water tank, and emulsifies the dampening water. When the fountain solution is emulsified, the print quality is deteriorated. Therefore, it is necessary to wash the water tank, adjust the printing machine, etc., and the workability is deteriorated, and the waste paper is increased.
Regarding the contamination of the water supply roller by the ink from the plate cylinder, a cleaning agent for removing the ink from the water supply roller has been proposed (Patent Document 1: JP 2007-51252A). However, in order to clean the water supply roller, it is necessary to stop the printing machine, and even if the water supply roller is cleaned, the dampening water is not contaminated.
The problem of this invention is to prevent the dampening water from being contaminated by the ink carried by the water supply roller from the plate cylinder.
A water boat contamination prevention device for an offset printing machine according to the present invention is in contact with a water supply roller of an offset printing machine, and scrapes water and ink from the water supply roller at a transport surface on the water supply roller from the plate cylinder to the water boat. A blade,
A water collecting pipe for collecting water and ink from the blade, and a water collecting pipe for discharging the received water and ink from the drainage channel,
The suction pump is connected to the water collecting pipe and sucks water and ink from the blade through the water collecting hole.
The surface of the water supply roller can be divided into a surface that conveys water from the water cylinder to the plate cylinder and a surface that conveys water and ink from the plate cylinder to the water cylinder. The transfer surface from the plate cylinder to the water boat transfers water remaining on the water supply roller without adhering to the plate cylinder, water on the plate cylinder and ink, and the ink contaminates the dampening water of the water boat. .
In this invention, the blade scrapes water and ink from the water supply roller, and the water and ink are discharged from the water collection hole through the pipe. The suction pump sucks water and ink from the blade through the water collecting hole. As a result, the ink conveyed from the water supply roller to the water boat can be removed and the mixing of the ink in the water boat can be reduced, so that the dampening water can be prevented from being contaminated. Therefore, the printing quality is stable, and it is possible to reduce the work such as the adjustment of the printing machine, the washing of the water jet, and the washing of the water supply roller. Further, when the print quality is stable, the amount of wasted paper that occurs in the process of adjusting the printing conditions according to the state of the printing machine is reduced. Further, according to the present invention, since the water and the ink on the blade are sucked by the suction pump, the water and the ink scraped off the water supply roller by the blade are quickly discharged and do not collect on the blade.
Preferably, the blade contacts the water supply roller parallel to the axis of the water supply roller, and the drainage channel is inclined so that the suction pump side is on the lower side. The slope of the drainage channel allows the water and ink in the pipe to be quickly discharged. ‥
Preferably, the opening area per length of the blade of the water collection hole is small on the suction pump side and large on the opposite side. The pressure difference between the inside and outside of the water collection pipe is large on the suction pump side and small on the opposite side. Therefore, if the opening area per length of the blade is small on the suction pump side and large on the opposite side, water and ink can be sucked almost uniformly over the entire length of the blade. The length of the blade is the length in the longitudinal direction of the blade, in other words, the length in the direction parallel to the axis of the water supply roller.
Preferably, the blade is held between the pair of mounting plates attached to the water collecting pipe so that the blade is pressed by the mounting plate over the entire length of the blade. When a force is locally applied to the blade, the blade bends or distorts, so that the blade does not come into uniform contact with the water supply roller. Further, when the blade is idle with respect to the mounting plate, the contact between the blade and the water supply roller becomes unstable. Therefore, if the blade is pressed over the entire length of the blade, the blade is less likely to bend or distort, and the blade is in stable contact with the water supply roller.

The suction pump 26, drainage tank 28, filter 30, drainage purification device 32, and water supply pump 34 are shared by each unit of the printing machine. Reference numeral 27 is a drain pipe that connects the water collection pipe 24 and the drain tank 28. Note that the waste water in the tank 28 may be discarded without providing the waste water purification device 32.
FIG. 2 shows the arrangement of the blade 22 with respect to the water supply roller 17. The blade 22 is made of, for example, a hard synthetic resin, a specific material is arbitrary, a blade is provided at the tip, and is a long plate shape. A blade or the like for collecting ink from the ink fountain roller 8 or the like can be used as the blade 22. The tip of the blade 22 on the water supply roller 17 side is arranged parallel to the axis of the water supply roller 17, and the blade 17 is brought into uniform contact with the water supply roller 17. The water collecting pipe 24 is inclined so that the suction pump 26 side faces downward, and 42 is a drainage channel in the pipe 24. Further, both ends of the water collecting pipe 24 are fixed to the mounting members 45 and 46 so that the water collecting pipe 24 can be supported by the frame of the printing machine or the like. The attachment member 45 on the suction pump 26 side is provided with a hole continuing to the drainage channel 42, and the attachment member 46 on the opposite side is closed to prevent air from entering.
The blade 22 is housed in, for example, the groove between the pair of mounting plates 40, 40, and a pressing force is applied substantially uniformly over the entire length of the blade 22, thereby fixing the blade 22 to the mounting plates 40, 40. In FIG. 2, the mounting plate 40 has a trapezoidal shape, and the blade 22 also has a trapezoidal shape. The groove may be provided only on one of the pair of mounting plates 40, 40, and the other mounting plate may remain flat. This also applies to the modifications of FIGS. 3 and 5.
The water collecting pipe 24 is provided with a water collecting hole 44 along the longitudinal direction of the blade 22 near the base of the mounting plate 40, and the suction pump 26 sucks water, ink and the like from the blade 22 and the mounting plate 40. The opening area of the water collecting hole 44 is small on the suction pump 26 side and large on the opposite side per length of the blade 22. By doing so, the water and the ink can be sucked from the blade 22 side almost uniformly over the entire length of the blade 22.
FIG. 3 shows a rectangular blade 23, and the pair of mounting plates 41, 41 has a rectangular shallow groove in a plan view shown by a broken line, and the blade 23 is accommodated in this groove.
FIG. 4 shows the mounting of the blade 22 on the mounting plate 40. The attachment plates 40, 40 fixed to each other are heated, the gap between them is expanded, and the blade 22 is pushed until the bottom of the blade 22 reaches the bottom of the groove. When the mounting plates 40, 40 cool, the groove contracts, a uniform pressing force acts on the blade 22, and the blade 22 is fixed to the mounting plates 40, 40. Therefore, the blade 22 does not vibrate when coming into contact with the water supply rollers 17 to 19. Further, since the blade 22 is not fixed by a local force but is fixed by applying a substantially uniform force to the entire blade 22, the blade 22 is not bent or distorted.
FIG. 5 shows a modification of mounting the blade 22. The blade 22 is housed in the groove 51 of the mounting plates 50, 50, and a fastening force is applied to the blade 22 by tightening bolts or the like through the fastening holes 52 arranged along the periphery of the blade 22. Also in this case, it is possible to apply a substantially uniform pressing force over the entire length of the blade 22.
FIG. 6 shows a modified water collecting pipe 60, and a gutter 62 is attached to the bottom of the pipe 60. The water and ink that have entered the pipe 60 through the water collection hole 44 are discharged from the drainage channel 64 of the gutter 62, and the drainage channel 64 is inclined so that the outlet side (suction pump side) is downward. In this modified example, since it is not necessary to incline the water collection pipe 60 itself, the shape of the pipe 60 can be simplified.
FIG. 7 shows a modified water collection hole 72. The water collection pipe 70 has a groove 71 inclined so that the outlet side faces downward, and the groove 71 is provided with a plurality of water collection holes 72. The length, arrangement pitch, width, etc. of the water collecting holes 72 are changed along the longitudinal direction of the blade 22, and the opening area per length of the blade 22 is small on the downstream side of the water collecting pipe 70 and large on the upstream side. To do. Even in this case, a substantially uniform suction force can be exerted over the entire length of the blade 22.
FIG. 8 schematically shows the contact of the blade 22 with the water supply roller 17. The surface of the blade 22 on the roller side is arranged so as to overlap the tangential plane of the roller 17 so that the blade 22 does not grind the surface of the roller 17. On the surface of the roller 17, there is a liquid film 82 mainly composed of water and ink, which is scraped off by the blade 22 and sucked into the water collecting hole by the air flow from the suction pump. A straightening vane 80 shown by a chain line may be provided so as to cover the path from the blade 22 to the water collecting hole, and air may be sucked intensively from the vicinity of the tip of the blade 22. ‥
The operation of the embodiment will be described.
1) The blade 22 scrapes off dirty water (mixture of water and ink) returning from the plate cylinder 5 to the water boat 16. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the contamination of the dampening water of the water boat 16.
2) The pollution of dampening water can be reduced, and the printing conditions are stable. For this reason, it is possible to reduce the trouble of adjusting the printing conditions and reduce the waste paper due to the adjustment of the printing conditions. Further, it is possible to reduce the work such as cleaning the water boat and the water supply roller.
3) If the wastewater is purified by the wastewater purification device 32 and reused, the wastewater containing ink can be reduced.

4) By inclining the drainage channel 42 and the like, water and ink can be quickly discharged to the tank 28.
5) The suction pump 26 sucks air from the water collecting hole 44 to suck water or ink around the blade 22. Therefore, there are few troubles such as ink sticking to the blade 22.
6) The opening area of the water collection hole 44 is large on the upstream side of the water collection pipe 24 and small on the downstream side. Therefore, water and ink can be sucked almost uniformly over the entire length of the blade 22.
7) Apply a substantially uniform pressing force from the mounting plate over the entire length of the blade 22. For this reason, the blade 22 has little bending and distortion, and evenly contacts the water supply roller. Further, since the blade 22 is fixed to the mounting plate without play, vibration of the blade 22 is small, and wear of the blade 22 and the water supply roller can be reduced.
