Description

AN OVEN COMPRISING A DRAWER
The present invention relates to an oven wherein the drawer can be easily placed into and taken out of the cooking cavity.
In ovens, the trays and drawers wherein the foods to be cooked are placed are supported by various methods inside the body which surrounds the oven cavity. For example, the trays are placed on the guides on the side walls of the body. The guides are positioned at different cooking levels predetermined by the producer for different types of foods. Furthermore, in the state of the art, telescopic rails are used which are mounted on the guide whereby the user can easily perform the loading and unloading operations. The telescopic rails enable the trays and the drawers to be longitudinally extended out of the oven.
In general, since the telescopic rail mounted to the cooking cavity at the lower part of the oven is composed of a large number of components, the mounting and/or detaching of the telescopic rail takes a very long time, increasing labor and production costs. Furthermore, errors occurring during said processes lead to instability and the telescopic rail is displaced.
In the state of the art German Patent Application No. DE102011844, the connection element is attached to the vertical and horizontal wires and the telescopic rails are fixed onto the connection element. Furthermore, in this document, the fixing of the telescopic rail to the part obtained by bending the vertical wire is also disclosed.
Another state of the art document is the German Utility Model Document Application No. DE20010037. In this document, a connection element is disclosed and the connection element is fixed to two guides which extend parallel to each other on the horizontal plane. Housings into which the two guides are seated are formed on the connection element. In another embodiment disclosed in this document, the connection element comprises housings provided in directions perpendicular to each other, into which the guide and the wire which is perpendicular to the guide are inserted.
Another state of the art document is European Patent Application No. EP2843316. In this document, a connection element is disclosed, which is fixed to the side wall of the oven and the guide.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of an oven wherein the drawer can be easily placed into and taken out of the cooking cavity.
The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a rack support which is fixed onto the side wall of the cooking cavity, and a carrier which engages with the telescopic rail, with one side fixed to the rack support and the other side to the drawer. By means of the engagement of the telescopic rail, the telescopic rail can be easily attached to/detached from the rack support without being fixed to the oven wall.
In the embodiment of the present invention, since the rack support and the carrier engage with each other such that the telescopic rail remains therebetween, the number of components is reduced. Thus, components can be used independent of the right or left side, and moreover, since the components are not joined with welding, savings in labor and time are provided.
The telescopic rail has a T shaped profile, and comprises a foot extending in the vertical plane, a first arm on the top of the foot extending towards the rack support in the horizontal plane and a second arm extending towards the drawer. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first and second arms have a waved structure.
The carrier comprises two pieces, namely a first guide fixed to the rack support and a second guide fixed to the drawer. The first guide extends onto the first arm and the second guide extends onto the second arm. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first and second guides have a waved structure just like the first and second arms. By means of the matching structure of said components, the first and second guides easily engage with the first and second arms in a movable manner. By means of the waved structure of the first and second guides and the first and second arms, the movement in both the vertical direction and the horizontal direction becomes more efficient, continuous and uninterrupted without causing any vibrations.
By means of the present invention, the telescopic rail is mounted to the oven by only engaging with the rack support and the carrier without requiring any fixing process. Thus, the number of components is reduced, and components can be used independent of the right or left side, and moreover, since the components are not joined with welding, savings in labor and time are provided.
An oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 - is the perspective view of an oven.
Figure 2 - is the perspective view of the rack support, the telescopic rail and the carrier together with the drawer.

The oven (1) comprises a cooking cavity wherein the foodstuffs to be cooked are placed, which has two parallel walls; at least two rack supports (2) which are oppositely disposed on the walls, which are positioned at different levels predetermined by the producer and which extend parallel to each other horizontally on the same vertical plane; at least two telescopic rails (3) which are seated onto the rack supports (2) and which support the drawer placed into the cooking cavity; at least two housings (10) which extend on both lower sides of the drawer (16) and wherein the telescopic rail (3) is seated, and
  • two carriers (7) each fixed to the rack support (2) and the drawer (16), which engage with the telescopic rail (3) so as to extend over the telescopic rail (3) from both sides
(Figure 1, Figure 2).
In the embodiment of the present invention, at least two rack supports (2) are fixed to the wall of the oven (1). Afterwards, the telescopic rail (3) together with the carrier (7) fixed thereon is mounted onto the rack support (2). Thus, the telescopic rail (3) is enabled to be easily attached to and detached from the rack support (2) without the need for attaching the same to the oven (1) wall. In the embodiment of the present invention, since the rack support (2) and the carrier (7) engage with each other such that the telescopic rail (3) remains therebetween, the number of components is reduced. Thus, components can be used independent of the right or left side, and moreover, since the components are not joined with welding, savings in labor and time are provided.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the telescopic rail (3) has a T shaped profile, and comprises a foot (4) extending in the vertical plane, a first arm (5) on the top of the foot (4) extending towards the rack support (2) in the horizontal plane and a second arm (6) extending towards the drawer (16). In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first and second arms (5 and 6) have a waved structure.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the carrier (7) comprises two pieces, namely a first guide (8) fixed to the rack support (2) and a second guide (9) fixed to the drawer (16). In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first and second guides (8 and 9) have a waved structure just like the first and second arms (5 and 6). By means of the matching structure of said components, the first and second guides (8 and 9) easily engage with the first and second arms (5 and 6) in a movable manner. By means of the waved structure of the first and second guides (8 and 9) and the first and second arms (5 and 6), the movement in both the vertical direction and the horizontal direction becomes more efficient, continuous and uninterrupted without causing any vibrations.
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rack support (2) has a base (11) and a side wall (12). The telescopic rail (3) is seated onto the base (11) and moves forwards/backwards on said base (11).
In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the rack support (2) has a profile in the form of an inverse Z, and produced from sheet metal.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the housing (10) extends along the right and left lower side of the drawer (16). In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the housing (10) is quadrilateral. The base of the drawer (16) forms the ceiling of the housing (10) while the side wall of the drawer (16) forms the side wall thereof, the base and the other side wall of the housing are hollow. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the housing (10) is produced from sheet metal profile (Figure 3).
In an embodiment of the present invention, the oven (1) comprises two fixing elements (13) each seated into the housing (10) at the rear end of both carriers (7), which prevent the drawer (16) from oscillating when the drawer (16) is in the open position.
