Abstract

The present utility model describes a novel device for protecting vehicles against sun, rain or dust when parked that uses a novel system which occupies a small volume inside a compartment of the device itself. Said device comprises a mask-type device for protecting the sides or front of the vehicle similar to those already known, and also comprises a storage bag, a protective mesh or cover with elastic properties that covers the vehicle, and a counterweight that acts, in turn, as a centre for rolling up or maintaining the shape of the protective mesh, as well as a system for attaching same to the vehicle.

Description

RETRACTABLE COVERED MESH DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE PROTECTION

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention belongs to the field of mechanics, specifically that of the Vehicle Articles Industry, and particularly refers to an article for protection against sun, rain and dust for vehicles by means of a portable, deployable and roll-up mesh by means of a mechanism Handbook.

BACKGROUND

Currently, there are mechanisms and meshes of different materials on the market used to protect the vehicle from the environmental conditions that directly affect the paint and its components, usually these are made of linings that protect the entire vehicle, being commonly used when it is about protecting for days or very long times of a vehicle.

There are other systems to protect the vehicle from the sun's rays, which focus on reducing the heating of the interior of the car only, protecting the glass section with meshes or materials that partially and totally filter light and UV rays. On the other hand, there are other systems that fully cover the vehicles, being effective even to protect the vehicle from partial damage or theft, but they turn out to be very robust and sometimes require fixing to the ground.

Patent KR10201 10094364 of title COVERING DEVICE FOR PROTECTING A VEHICLE CAPARLE OF COVERING THE TOP OF THE VEHICLE AND CONVENIENTLY USING, which in Spanish translates as A COVER DEVICE TO PROTECT A VEHICLE ABLE TO COVER THE UPPER PART OF THE VEHICLE AND ITS USE , serves to protect the vehicle with a crease made from a resin that is wound by means of a mechanism by applying a force from the center of the roller that allows it to turn and reel the crease. This device is fixed to the Inner part of the trunk lid, and when used, the fold is pulled so that the roller unwinds and places the fold on top of the vehicle, covering it up to the hood. This device has the drawback that it needs adjustments to operate with the trunk closed and its cost to produce and sell it is higher than that described in the present invention because it uses a mechanism to retract.

Patent CN204323014 with the title PORTABLE RETRACTARLE VEHICLE COVER AND SYSTEM, which in Spanish translates as a RETRACTILE PORTABLE VEHICLE COVER AND SYSTEM, describes a system similar to that described in the previous paragraph, except that it presents the variant that it can be fixed in the Lower part of the vehicle, in addition to being installed in the inner part of the trunk. This device generally represents the concept of the protection system, however its technical details are not documented and it is not possible to define the scope of this invention, on the other hand, it is considered different in terms of operation and portability, since it uses a more robust mechanism.

The novel device that is documented in this application has not been found as such during the study of art, considering also that it has the following advantages: in a very commercial and dual-purpose device, first because it performs the function of protecting the fascia front of the vehicle and the windshield, which as it is known for this are the vehicle masks, but also this device offers the novelty of one more accessory that allows to deploy a protective mesh on the upper part of the vehicle providing protection against UV rays and other environmental conditions that may affect the vehicle.

Therefore, it is intended to protect said device by means of the present application. The characteristic details of this device are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying figures.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present utility model describes a novel device for protection against sun, rain or dust of vehicles while parked, with a novel system that occupies low volume inside a compartment of the same device.

This device is made up of a protective device for the fascia or front of the vehicle type mask as those already known, and also includes a container bag, a mesh or protective canvas and a counterweight that in turn serves as a center to roll or maintain shape. of the protective mesh, as well as a fixing system to the vehicle.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

With reference to the figures, it is described below in detail and with different modalities of the invention.

It is to be understood that the embodiments shown herein are merely Illustrative of the possible embodiments of the Invention and that there are no limitations intended by the construction or design details herein, other than as described in the appended claims. The modifications that may result after having taken into account the present specification, as well as different uses that may be presented to those mentioned here are included.

This novel device for the protection of vehicles in parking is mainly used to cover the vehicle with solar rays, preventing the rays of the sun from filtering into the interior of the vehicle through the windows of the vehicle and it is heated and prevents damage to interiors such as dashboards and seats , and is comprised of the following:

An ANTIFAZ-shaped protector (6) that covers the front part (1) of the vehicle as those already known and that is illustrated in figure 2.

A mesh or protective cloth (1 1), preferably with elastic properties, of sufficient size to cover the upper part (5) of the vehicle and protect the windows from UV rays, fixed to the mask (6) inside a container bag (7, 8, 9 and 10). A container bag (7, 8, 9 and 10) that includes an opening on the mask (6) with manual closure and a cavity of sufficient size to allow the mesh or protective fabric (1 1) to be stored together with its counterweight (12) .

A counterweight (12) fixed to the mesh or protective cloth (1 1) on the opposite edge of the mask (6), which serves to extend the mesh or protective cloth (1 1) in a more practical and easy way, also serves as a center to roll it.

A fixing means (13) at the same end as the counterweight (12) that serves to fix the mesh or protective cloth (6) to the rear of the vehicle, which in an illustrative but not limiting manner are mentioned the rear fascla (2 ) or the edge of the trunk lid (4). The fixing means (13) can consist of hooks of any material, adjustment straps and handles, sailboat or any other means of those already known that serve to fix or hook non-permanently.

This device has different configurations but all represent a unit of Invention, therefore these different configurations are mentioned below.

A first configuration (b) where the device consists of two pieces, the first piece is the already known mask (6) that covers the front of the vehicle, such as fascla (1), grill and headlights, and a second piece that is placed on the front end of the box lid (3), which incorporates the container bag (8) in the second piece.

A second configuration (c) like the one mentioned in the previous paragraph, in which both pieces make up one and the container bag (9) is located at the top and front of the vehicle (3).

A third configuration (a) such as those mentioned in the previous two paragraphs, different because the container bag (7) is located in front of the mask (6), at the height of the front fascla of the vehicle (1).

A fourth configuration (d), different from the previous ones, in which it only comprises a single piece, placed on the lid of the chest (3) and in which the container bag (10) is located.

For all the aforementioned configurations, the device also includes a means of attaching it to the vehicle, which can include straps, straps, hooks, sailboats, snaps and even handles for the device, mainly the mask (6) and the container bag (7, 8, 9,10) remains fixed to the vehicle and is not affected by its movement or vibration as well as drafts, liquids or solids that apply force on the device.

Claims

CLAIMS Having sufficiently described my invention, I consider as a novelty and therefore claim as my exclusive property, the content of the following clauses:

AUTOMOBILES comprising a mask type protector (6) placed in front of the vehicle (1) as those already known, characterized in that it also includes:

to. A mesh or protective cloth (1 1), preferably with elastic properties, of sufficient size to cover the upper part of the vehicle and protect the windows from UV rays, fixes the mask-type protector (6) inside a container bag (7,8,9,10).

b. A container bag (7,8,9, 10) comprising an opening on the

mask type protector (6) with manual closure and a cavity of sufficient size to allow storing the mesh or protective fabric (1 1) together with its counterweight (12).

c. A counterweight (12) fixed to the mesh or protective cloth (1 1) on the opposite edge of the mask-type protector (6), which serves to extend the mesh or protective cloth (1 1) in a more practical and easy way, and that serves as a center to roll it.

d. A fixing means (13) at the same end as the counterweight (12) that serves to fix the mesh or protective cloth (1 1) to the rear of the vehicle (4) so that it is unfolded on the vehicle.

2. A RETRACTABLE COVERED MESH DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE PROTECTION as described in claim 1 characterized in that the device consists of two pieces, the first piece is the already known mask (6) that covers the front of the vehicle, as fascia (1 ), grill and headlights, and a second piece that is placed on the front end of the hood lid (3), which incorporates the container bag (8) in the second piece.
