Definitions

  • the present invention relates generally to the field of internet commerce in which on-line purchases are commonly done through an on-line vendor digital platform, such as a website or a mobile application.
  • US-7433832B1 builds on this initial idea of the ' 411 patent to go further. It discloses methods and systems for distributing information within a dynamically defined community. Past purchase information data made by a first user are stored in a client database. Authorisation sent by this first user is sent through the network allowing a second and subsequent user, access to some of the historical purchase information. The first user is enabled to selectively choose which data may be viewed by the second user. This thus sets up a dynamically defined community with access to ever-changing historic purchase data. This can be useful for subsequent potential users who are able to analyse comments and satisfaction from past purchases made by other users in the past, and to then base their choices accordingly.

  • This technical effect is achieved by setting up a scheme, whereby enabling a user to initiate a purchase group for an article, or a bundle or a group of articles, of his/her choice, where dynamic preferential prices of an article, or a bundle or group of articles, is enabled for a dynamic number of users, who are together, in a dynamic and open user group.
