Description
The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a heater.
In dishwashers used today, a washing cycle is completed by successively performing the cold washing, main washing, rinsing and drying steps. Water is delivered onto the dishes placed on the racks by means of spray arms. The flow rate and density of the water delivered onto the dishes can be changed depending on the position and geometry of the holes on the spray arm, and the cleaning process is realized. Aft the completion of the washing steps, the water droplets remaining on the dishes are evaporated. Afterwards, the remaining water droplets are sucked from the dishes by means of a fan. Thus, the dishes are dried. Nowadays, the users expect from the dishwashers good washing and drying performances in a shorter time. Therefore, the use of quick washing programs becomes widespread. However, since the drying duration in the quick washing programs is short, the time required for evaporating the water droplets on the dishes cannot be provided. Moreover, discharging the hot water from the machine in the discharge step and the intake of cold water into the machine in the water intake steps cause significant heat losses. This causes waste of time and energy.
In the state of the art Utility Model No. CN206228312, a dishwasher is disclosed, comprising a fan and a heater disposed on the air duct, thus improving the drying performance.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a dishwasher with improved washing and drying performance.
The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof comprises a body; a washing tub which is disposed in the body and wherein the dishes to be washed are placed; a door which interrupts the contact of the washing tub with the outer environment; a control panel which is provided on the door; a sump for collecting the water; at least one spray arm for delivering water to the dishes; and a heater which is disposed on the washing tub. The water delivered onto the dishes by the spray arm tricks down to be collected in the sump. By means of the heater, the washing and drying duration is shortened.
The dishwasher of the present invention comprises the heater having an active position and a passive position. When the heater is in the active position, the air in the washing tub is heated by the heater. In the passive position, no heating process is performed.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a control unit which controls the heater. The control unit enables the heater to shift between the active position and the passive position.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a fan which is disposed in the vicinity of the heater. By means of the fan, the air heated by the heater is homogeneously distributed in the washing tub.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the heater which is disposed in the vicinity of the sump. By positioning the heater in the vicinity of the sump, both the air in the washing air and the water are heated.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the heater which is disposed at the base of the washing tub. By positioning the heater at the base, the heated air rises to be distributed in the washing tub. Thus, the heating duration is shortened.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the heater which is disposed in the vicinity of the spray arm. By positioning the heater in the vicinity of the heater, the heated air is distributed in the washing tub with the movement of the spray arm.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a control member which is disposed on the control panel. By means of the control member, the heater can be controlled by the user and shifts between the active position and the passive position.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the control panel which enables the user to control the operational parameters of the heater which are predefined in the control unit by the producer.
By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, comprising a heater which heats the air in the washing tub.

The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is disposed in the body (2) and wherein the dishes to be washed are placed to perform the washing process; a door (4) which interrupts the contact of the washing tub (3) with the outer environment; a control panel (5) which is provided on the door (4) and which enables the user to determine the washing parameters; a sump(6) for collecting the water in the washing tub (3); at least one spray arm (7) for delivering water to the dishes; and at least one heater (8) which is disposed on the washing tub (3). The washing process is performed in the washing tub (3). The dishes are cleaned by the spray arm (7) spraying water onto the dishes. By means of the control panel (5), the user determines the operational parameters. By means of the heater (8), the washing duration is shortened.
The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises the heater (8) having an active position wherein the air in the washing tub (3) is heated and a passive position wherein no heating process is performed. When the heater (8) is in the active position, the air in the washing tub (3) is heated. The heater (8), which heats the water, can be used in all washing steps and drying steps, even cases when there is no water in the washing tub (3). By means of the air heated in the washing tub (3), the washing water is heated more quickly. Thus, both the washing and drying duration is shortened.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a control unit (9) which enables the heater (8) to shift between the active position and the passive position. By means of the control unit (9), the heater (8) shifts between the active position and the passive position. This is realized by supplying energy to the heater (8). Thus, the heater (8) is operated in a controlled manner.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a fan (10) which is disposed in the vicinity of the heater (8) and which enables the air heated by the heater (8) to be distributed in the washing tub (3). By means of the fan (10), the air heated by the heater (8) is distributed in the washing tub (3). Thus, the washing tub (3) is enabled to be heated homogeneously. By means of the heated washing tub (3), the washing water is heated more quickly.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the heater (8) which is disposed in the vicinity of the sump (6), thus heating both the air and the water in the washing tub (3). By positioning the heater (8) in the vicinity of the sump (6), both the water collected in the sump (6) to be distributed to the washing tub ( 3) and the air in the washing tub (3) can be heated. Thus, the washing duration is shortened.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the heater (8) which is disposed at the base of the washing tub (3).
