- a flag for further classification may be further signaled.
- the affine mode may be signaled in an independent mode, or may be signaled in a mode dependent on a merge mode or an MVP mode.
- the affine mode may include affine merge mode and affine MVP mode.
- the coding device derives motion information for the current block (S610).
- the motion information may be derived based on the inter prediction mode.
- the coding apparatus may perform inter prediction using motion information of a current block.
- the encoding apparatus may derive the optimal motion information for the current block through a motion estimation procedure. For example, the encoding apparatus may search similar reference blocks having high correlation by using the original blocks in the original picture for the current block in fractional pixel units within a predetermined search range in the reference picture, thereby deriving motion information. You can.
- the similarity of the block can be derived based on the difference between phase-based sample values. For example, the similarity of a block may be calculated based on the SAD between the current block (or the template of the current block) and the reference block (or the template of the reference block). In this case, motion information may be derived based on a reference block having the smallest SAD in the search area.

- FIG. 7 exemplarily shows spatial peripheral blocks used for deriving motion information candidates in the conventional merge or AMVP mode.
- the spatial peripheral block has been limited to a block that is in direct contact with the current block. This was to increase the hardware implementation, because the issue such as an increase in the line buffer occurs to induce information of a block far from the current block.
- a history based motion vector prediction (HMVP) method may be used to use motion information of non-adjacent blocks without increasing the line buffer.
- HMVP may refer to History based Motion Vector Prediction or History based Motion Vector Predictor. According to this document, inter prediction can be efficiently performed using HMVP, and parallel processing can be supported.
- parallel processing may be supported based on this.
- supporting parallel processing does not mean that parallel processing is essential, and the coding device may or may not perform parallel processing in consideration of hardware performance or service type.
- the coding device may process some of the slices, bricks, and / or tiles in parallel.
- the coding device may perform sequential processing while reducing computation and memory burden.
- the HMVP candidate according to the above-described HMVP method may include motion information of a previously coded block. For example, motion information of a previously coded block according to a block coding order in a current picture is not considered as motion information of the current block if the previously coded block is not adjacent to the current block.
- the HMVP candidate may be considered as a motion information candidate (eg, merge candidate or MVP candidate) of the current block without considering whether the previously coded block is adjacent to the current block.
- a plurality of HMVP candidates may be stored in the buffer.
- an HMVP candidate (HMVP merge candidate) may be added to the merge candidate list.
- the HMVP candidate may be added after spatial merge candidates and temporal merge candidates included in the merge candidate list.
- motion information of previously coded blocks may be stored in a table format, and may be used as motion information candidates (eg, merge candidates) of the current block.

- the number of HMVP candidates included in the table may be set to 0.
- the size of the table can be fixed to a specific value (ex. 5, etc.). For example, if there is an inter-coded block, associated motion information may be added as a new HMVP candidate as the last entry in the table.
- the (HMVP) table may be called a (HMVP) buffer or a (HMVP) list.
- the HMVP candidate-based decoding procedure may include an HMVP candidate-based inter prediction procedure.
- the decoding apparatus loads an HMVP table including HMVP candidate (s) and decodes a block based on at least one of the HMVP candidate (s).
- the decoding apparatus may derive motion information of the current block based on at least one of the HMVP candidate (s), and perform inter prediction on the current block based on the motion information to predict Blocks (including predictive samples) can be derived.
- Blocks including predictive samples
- a reconstructed block may be generated based on the predicted block.
- the derived motion information of the current block may be updated in the table. In this case, the motion information may be added as a new HMVP candidate as the last entry in the table. If the number of HMVP candidates previously included in the table is equal to the size of the table, the candidate that first entered the table is deleted, and the derived motion information is added as a new HMVP candidate as the last entry of the table. Can be.
- FIG. 9 exemplarily shows an HMVP table update according to the FIFO rule
- FIG. 10 exemplarily shows an HMVP table update according to the restricted FIFO rule.
- First-in-first-out (FIFO) rules may be applied to the table. For example, if the table size S is 16, this indicates that 16 HMVP candidates can be included in the table. If more than 16 HMVP candidates are generated from previously coded blocks, FIFO rules may be applied, and through this, the table may include up to 16 most recently coded motion information candidates. In this case, as shown in FIG. 9, the FIFO rule is applied to remove the oldest HMVP candidate, and a new HMVP candidate can be added.
- a limited FIFO rule may be applied as illustrated in FIG. 10.
- a redundancy check may be applied first. Through this, it is possible to determine whether an HMVP candidate having the same motion information already exists in the table. If there are HMVP candidates having the same motion information in the table, the HMVP candidates having the same motion information are removed from the table, and the HMVP candidates after the removed HMVP candidates move by one space (ie, each Indices -1), a new HMVP candidate can then be inserted.
- HMVP candidates can be used in the merge candidate list construction procedure.
- all HMVP candidates that can be inserted from the last entry to the first entry in the table may be inserted after spatial merge candidates and temporal merge candidates.
- a pruning check may be applied to HMVP candidates.
- the maximum number of merge candidates allowed may be signaled, and when the total number of available merge candidates reaches the maximum number of merge candidates, the merge candidate list construction procedure may end.

- an HMVP candidate having the same reference picture as the MVP target reference picture may be used to construct the MVP candidate list.
- the MVP target reference picture may indicate a reference picture for inter prediction of a current block to which the MVP mode is applied.
- a pruning check may be applied to HMVP candidates.
- the k may be, for example, 4. However, as an example, the k may have various values such as 1, 2, 3, 4, and the like.

- WPP Wavefront Parallel Processing
- WPP when WPP is applied, parallelization processing may be performed on a CTU row basis.
- initialization of the CABAC probability table may be performed in slice units, and in order to perform parallelization processing including entropy encoding / decoding, CABAC probability tables (or context information) in units of CTU rows. ) Should be initialized.
- WPP can be considered as a proposed technique to determine an efficient initialization location.
- each LCT row may be called a substream, and parallel processing may be supported when the coding device has multiple processing cores. For example, when WPP is applied, if three processing cores process decoding in parallel, the first processing core decodes substream 0, the second processing core decodes substream 1, The third processing core can decode substream 2.
- WPP is applied, after coding is performed for the n-th (n is an integer) sub-stream, coding for the second CTU or LCU of the n-th sub-stream is completed, and then coding for the n + 1 th sub-stream is performed. Can proceed.
- the first LCU of the n + 1th substream is based on the context information for the second LCU of the n-th substream. It can be entropy coded.
- the number of substreams in the slice may be the same as the number of LCU rows.
- the number of substreams in a slice may be the same as the number of entry points.
- the number of entry points may be specified by the number of entry point offsets. For example, the number of entry points may have a value greater than the number of entry point offsets.
- Information on the number of entry point offsets and / or information on the values of offsets may be included in the above-described video / video information and encoded, and signaled to a decoding device through a bitstream.
- the coding apparatus includes one processing core, coding processing is performed in one substream unit, thereby reducing memory load and coding dependency.
- HMVP table motion information derived from a coding procedure of each block is stored as a candidate by a predetermined buffer (HMVP table) size.
