Abstract
The present invention relates to an illuminated speaker comprising a planar coil which is fixed with the suitable gap by means of a holder, a magnetized thin flexible structure whereon an illumination apparatus is disposed, and planar coil connection pims which are disposed on the holder.
Description
The present invention relates to the use of speakers in televisions for different functions.
A speaker is an electromechanic device converting changes in the electric current into sound vibrations. Therefore, the speaker is composed of a magnet, a coil and a diaphragm. The coil is a conductor carrying current within the magnetic field of the magnet. Upon receiving a signal, the coil acts under the effect of an electromagnetic force. As the coil is firmly fixed onto the diaphragm, the former also moves the diaphragm. The diaphragm moves in line with the changes in the electrical signal in the coil and emits sound waves. When a louder sound is required, the magnitude of the signal is increased. A proper speaker should not produce distorted sound. Nowadays, the speakers are generally placed into boxes covered with soundproof materials in order to prevent the sound from propagating from the rear side of the diaphragm.
As one of the magnetic fields in the speakers is formed by a permanent magnet, energy cannot be transferred to the diaphragm area without suing an electronic structure.
In the state of the art Patent Document No. US2007222631, a combiation speaker / light fixture is disclosed. The sound producing element is composed of a low frequency transducer and one or more high frequency transducers arranged to emit sound in a particular direction. The former is designed to be used in a wall or ceiling. The generation of light from the high frequency transducer is not disclosed.
In the state-of-the-art Patent Document No. US2016057521, a wireless speaker system is disclosed. The system comprises at least one LED, a wireless radio frequency module and a wireless audio module. A smart terminal is provided, and the LED lighting is wirelessly connected to the smart terminal via the Wi-Fi radio frequency module.
In the state-of-the-art Patent Document No. MX2015008545, a speaker apparatus and a lighting apparatus are disclosed. The speaker has a conical vibration portion, and the lighting apparatus is insertedly disposed at the center of the conical vibration portion so that efficient lighting is ensured and light is adjusted depending on the acoustic signal, thereby maximizing the visual sound effect.
In the state-of-the-art Patent Document No. KR101596406, it is disclosed that the spider is removed and the LED is controlled without the spider function. In this patent, the spider is integrated into the LED lighting apparatus.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a speaker which is designed in a magnet-free manner, which is light and portable thanks to the elimination of classic magnet structure, and which can produce both light and sound via wireless transmission, thus which can be used as an alternative for search/rescue/location purposes.
In the new light and sound generating speaker system realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, the illumination apparatus is placed in front of the diaphragm area of the speaker. By means of the magnetized diaphragm and the illumination apparatus disposed thereon, the light is used at the center of the sound source, thus equalizing the direction of both light and sound and providing effective use for the relevant purposes. In an embodiment of the present invention, by means of the magnetized speaker diaphragm, a light and portable speaker is obtained. Thus, ease of carrying/replacing is provided.
Speakers are based on the principle of generating a mechanical undulating movement with the interaction of a fixed magnetic field and a variable magnetic field, which are different from each other, and thus moving the air by means of a diaphragm. The present invention comprises a magnetized diaphragm for generating a fixed magnetic field, a planar coil which is arranged in a spiral manner in the horizontal plane for generating a variable magnetic field, a mechanical holder which maintains the mechanical integrity during the interaction of said structures, an illumination apparatus holder which is provided on the magnetized diaphragm, and an illumination apparatus disposed on the illumination apparatus holder.
The planar coil, which is formed in a spiral manner, comprises two poles for electrical connection.
The illumination apparatus comprises an illumination device and a structure for connection to the illumination apparatus holder.
The magnetized diaphragm and the planar coil which generates the electrically variable magnetic field are positioned parallel to each other, and the mechanical holder provides the mechanical integrity. The illumination apparatus which is disposed on the magnetized diaphragm is also positioned parallel to the planar coil.
Both magnetic force and electrical energy are transmitted to the diaphragm which is magnetized by using a low frequency planar coil superposed on a high frequency carrier signal as well as to the illumination apparatus disposed on the diaphragm. The transmitted magnetic force enables the magnetized diaphragm to move, thus generating the sound wave. The transmitted electrical energy provides the activation of the illumination apparatus.
As the illumination apparatus disposed on the diaphragm moves together with the diaphragm, the position of the source of the generated light can be changed.
As the illumination apparatus disposed on the diaphragm moves together with the diaphragm, the change in the sound harmonizes the change in the light.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the interaction between the planar coil and the magnetized diaphragm generates the sound wave.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the interaction between the planar coil and the illumination apparatus generates the visual warning.
In another embodiment of the present invention, by means of the interaction between the planar coil and the magnetized diaphragm, the need for the classic magnet structure generating the fixed magnetic field is eliminated.
In another embodiment of the present invention, by means of the interaction between the planar coil and the magnetized diaphragm, a lighter and portable speaker is realized.
RESULT
By using the planar coil disposed at the fixed part of the speaker, energy is transmitted to the diaphragm via the high frequency carrier modulation signal. Thus, both magnetic force and electrical energy are transmitted to the diaphragm. By means of the illumination apparatus disposed on the diaphragm, the speaker emits the sound signals generated by the diaphragm as well as visual warning.
