Description

Car Anti-theft Locking System
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention is related to car anti-theft structure and also pertains to dividing received instructions for locking and unlocking and creating parallel structure in final product as smart controller system of vehicle doors. It also relates to the transmission of instruction codes by two main wires carrying electric currents for vehicle doors' locks which are controlled by central lock. It is also related to protective security field as well.
PRIOR ART KNOWLEDGE
Considering the existing condition of security systems, it should be mentioned that the link between the ignition switch and vehicle power, in the best security device examples, is cut by a device like relay. In similar anti-theft facilities, cutting the main electricity power flowing to the switch or the power used by the engine is intended. When system control, detection and command are done by car ECU, command center is generally controlled by ECU. If electricity is disconnected by a backup circuit like car anti-theft system, disconnection happens by a relay to cut the link between switch and engine.
Car alarm has an input which either activates or switches it off. Other inputs are also installed inside the trunk to the trunk lamp's wire, and head light inside car. For better control, ocular input and shock are respectively ultrasonic and sensor. Outputs for warning intrusion and burglary include siren, small headlights, horn or all the said items or some of them together, which vary in different brands. However, there are commands for locking and unlocking the doors and power windows. Finally, there is relay for car ignition start to prevent theft. When ignition switch is inserted inside and we turn the switch, some steps happen before engine starts. At first, 12 volt electricity gets connected to on mode of the switch. Then, 12 volt electricity becomes connected to ace mode of switch. Then, gauges for oil, battery and ampere turn on. Whereas 12 volt power in car starting is still connected to on mode of the switch but switch is detached from ace mode. At the same time, 12 volt power becomes connected to starter switch and after engine starts, key is released and 12 volt power becomes detached once more and turns back to ace mode of the switch. That is, when the engine is operating, switch is in on mode and 12 volt power stays in connected mode. If ace power is disconnected by relay, engine starts but will not operate but if power in switch on mode is cut, car neither starts nor operates. And if any of outputs or inputs is induced, car alarm is induced and output becomes connected to a relay, which cuts the connection between 12 volt power and ace so the car does not operate in start mode. If the thief damages the central device or cuts the connection with relay or in other words make it short circuit, the engine easily starts and car operates. In some case, professional thieves make use of device called Roll Jammer. By that device being fixed very close to the victim's car, if the car owner unlocks and locks the doors only once, codes would be saved to the device and thief can easily unlock and deactivate the car alarm.
In patent No. US6094131A granted in July. 25, 2000, Mr. Shin-Chung Chen from Taiwan introduces a smart locking system which is mostly focused on ECU. An extra helping (assistance) lock is installed on the driver side door and as long as the unlocking command is not issued by the extra lock, ECU can't transmit the command to the master control unit. As long as this extra helping lock installed on driver side door does not retreat back to its prior mode by remote control, unlocking and deciphering with the help of main remote control is impossible. There isn’t certainly a similarity between that patent and this invention in mechanical terms of and software.
In another patent No. US5715712A granted in Feb.10, 1998, which is a kind of anti-theft lock and acts merely mechanically and locks vehicle door by the use of remote control system, is indeed considered as the first generation of centralized locking system.
In another patent, No. US20080180232A granted in July. 31, 2008 to Mr. Tse Hsing Chen, a kind of added system is mounted on the crank handle or beside car door, which has the ability of fixing the door crank or acting as a helping lock. However, inventors' claim is to build higher security without drilling the door and without entering any object into the main locking system smartly.
In another patent no. CN104527571 A, which is owned by a Chinese company, a kind of remote control is offered by the inventor, which can inform the driver in case the car door opens and central ECU system permits the electric current connection solely by receiving the right code. Another patent registered in Iran is recognized as double-lock coding system of car door. The inventor unveiled a kind of security system which divides the central computer and car console electricity into two divisions. One part is for electric switch and another for car door. The connection port is on the door and driver can install a kind of board he is carrying with him to the door-mounted port and later the entered codes by the internal part is compared to those created by the chipset carried by the driver and in case they are compatible and confirmed, order for opening the door is issued.
In another patent No. US5435609 dated as July.25, 1995 by Mr. Tetzuzo Igata in the States, a kind of anti-theft lock is introduced which covers the whole door panel with elements of locking mechanism lever behind. If thief intends to insert an external object between the window and weather- stripping to the door panel, pulling up the lever and unlocking the door is impossible because of the existence of shield.
TECHNICAL PROBLEMS AND THE PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
Nowadays, protective security systems are employed to protect cars from being stolen by thieves and criminals and it was somehow successful to defeat amateur thieves. The purpose behind designing and developing car alarms is the prevention of theft by professional thieves. Considering security systems of present cars, car alarms and their operation and different types, it should be mentioned that different car alarms have different operation method according to their brand and origin.
In its simplest type, security system plays the role of an absolute warning system and informs the car owner of the incident with a siren. At this type, after the trunk is opened by the thief and the thief breaks in, siren goes off but the thief can start the engine and run away, which the relevant wire to siren is at first cut to stop the warning system and then steals the car.
In another type, cutting the wire is a way to stop the warning system but the theft is foiled because the electricity is gone away by the electric circuit. In this type, the fuse is unplugged and security systems are deactivated after the thief breaks in the car to steal the car. However, after the thief enters the car and switches off the input electricity of car alarm circuit, he can't easily steal the car as it was the case with the previous method. He should, at first, try to connect the connection between auto start and the coil or the part installer has switched off by the relay in electric board of car alarm, and then he can start the engine. In any case, as the installation of car alarm happens in a certain part of the car which is disclosed to the professional thief, switching off the warning system will neither be difficult nor time-consuming.
In a nutshell, the simplest type of security systems plays the role of a mere warning system which informs the car owner by switching on the siren but deactivating the siren prevents warning system to do its job and even turning the car alarm on will not lead to the prevention of theft.
In another type, removing the siren's wire is one the ways to prevent informing the car owner of the theft but the theft itself can't be prevented because of a loss of connection by electric circuit. In this method, the theft switches off the input power to the car alarm by unplugging its corresponding fuse and deactivates all the security systems. Afterwards, they can easily steal the car.
Professional thieves steal the codes by using a device called Roll Jammer which is located close to the car and receives the codes when the car owner unlocks and locks it the first time after the device was installed. As a result, new device lifts all the obstacles to do the robbery.
THE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In present invention, a kind of smart car lock system is presented which enjoys some changes in sending instructions about unlocking and locking as well as mechanical tools. In simpler words, present invention is a kind of anti-theft mechanism in which the lock relies neither on the mechanical lock inside the door panel nor the latch in exterior section of the door and the necessary control on the safety precaution is only on the hands of the owner. The present invention is comprised of two parts. First part is the receiver which is responsible for receiving commands for locking and unlocking from remote control. In fact, receiver is part of car ECU or part of central lock relay and the issued command from there is different depending on the kind and function of the vehicle. This part is equipped with a kind of internal receiver which can send the necessary instruction orders by sending messages of locking and unlocking through wires responsible for power transition to the internal receiver.
This unit includes 4 outputs two of which is for locking and unlocking central lock and another two belongs to the main engine.
In the present invention, the installed locks on the door as well as systems for switching engine power and switch power on and off are equipped with a kind of reception circuit. After the command as to lock the car is sent by the remote control, the issued command is received by ECU and examined if it is sent from the original remote. Because the lock structure is equipped with the second lock, the lock is actuated to move to dismiss the manual unlocking. In other words, if the command for locking by the lever located on the door or because of the activation of the central lock by manual command from inside the car is given, the car door can be opened by moving the lever similar to other locks of the car. However, the instruction for lucking is sent by the remote control, this command is analyzed by ECU and after the door is normally locked, the insertion of the second lock into the lock or in parallel with the lock's lock or breaking mechanical connection between on/off key for car lock or on/off ratchet for car lock and also car door handle can shut down all the relevant connections to the lock and start a situation in which the main lock can't be decoded without remote control or sending commands.
In case the assistance lock or the second part of the lock which allows the unlocking by receiving certain codes from ECU doesn’t exist, the thieves can unlock the car by creating a short circuit or electric power to the wires in spite of the existence of the second lock and the ability to lock the car through mechanical mechanism. However, in present invention, unlocking with merely connecting DC (direct current) to the car lock is impossible and it requires that instruction codes be sent from ECU or auxiliary ECU installed as car alarm. Central unit applies a special code for unlocking and another special code for locking after it receives the command from the remote control. In present invention, the purpose is that car wiring system doesn’t undergo any change and as a result sending instruction codes, supply circuit and locking/unlocking system are each separately designed and operating. The central circuit command for unlocking or locking the lock is issued generally from a radio control (remote) by a certain frequency and an encoded key (pressing the remote control) or by ECU through mechanical locking by a switch or a mechanical lock inside the cabin. The purpose of locking the car is the prevention of burglary of objects inside the car or the car itself. In the present invention, the design of different parts of the system is such that system is not focused on a certain spot. As a result, the removal of the transmitter or meddling with the system by the thief resorting to different methods can cause problems with unlocking of the car.
Internal receiver is located inside the car lock and this makes interference with and deactivation of lock separately too difficult and time-consuming. In fact, every lock is adjustable with security system of the same car and can't be applied on other cars.
Since each control code which is sent from the transmitter is different from other ones sent from other transmitters, devices can be distinguished from each other. In fact, after it receives the command from a remote control, central system of car ECU or central relay by the help of internal receiver which can be either part of central system ECU or part of central lock's relay, the command as an encoded content on the wires carrying electricity power for executing commands of locking and unlocking by the central lock's pump. Internal receiver which is part of lock's electronic package's elements inserts the lock which is installed inside the lock into the lock after it receives the code and the door gets locked. It, then, gets the lock's elements to interact. As a result, unlocking the door by changing the lock's mechanical status or turning the switch from outside is not possible. In fact, internal receiver of the lock is responsible for verifying the received code and executing the commands. Lock of second lock is supposed to get all lock elements to interact with each other. The lock of the second lock which is supposed to get all the lock elements into interaction acts after the issued command is analyzed by the help of internal receiver unit, command for locking the door is issued and car status is in locked mode. As a result, the lock of the second door gets activated and involves all the elements of the lock.
When the command for unlocking is sent from the transmitter to the lock receiver, the lock detaches itself from internal elements of the main lock and then the permission for the electricity to pass through receiver towards the main pump for unlocking the main lock is issued. In this mechanism, the structure of internal receiver of the lock can prevent the unlocking of the locks by connecting or switching off the electric power of the main lock and removing mechanical connection of auxiliary elements of the lock or even by inserting the lock in the main lock. In present invention, because all the issued commands regarding unlocking and locking of the locks and existent relays in the system is under the control of internal processor of car, it is thus possible to issue a command as to close the rear doors and accordingly prevent unlocking the doors by the kids inside the car by the help of designing an auxiliary circuit of child lock and relevant connections to press a button inside or by a remote control.
The invention of anti-theft system of cars include at least a radio remote control, a radio receiver, and at least an internal processor and a transmitter located in central part, an internal receiver on the lock and at least a mechanical structure for a lock equipped with an assistance lock, as well as systems and electric circuits of power outage, switch, engine and start, in which radio remote control system can have a binary coding structure for transmitted data as well as equipped with identification chipsets of switch during mechanical locking and unlocking of doors.
Central processor of the car can operate anti-theft system on its own and can be located inside the car in terms of hardware. Data receiver system by the central receiver unit of car can obtain instructions regarding locking and unlocking through radio frequency, infrared, ultrasonic or any other way.
Central processor of car can convert the obtained instruction messages from remote control to instruction codes and send them by the help of a transmitter. Central transmitter unit send the instruction codes to the locks by power transfer wires and relays. Locking and unlocking instructions for locks are sent as signals from internal transmitter to internal receiver of locks.
Transmitted commands by the transmitter unit of central processor is received by the receiver units of all the locks.
Received signals by the receiver unit of car doors locks are converted to instruction codes.
Instruction codes in receiver unit of car locks gets the mechanical structure of second lock lock or electric relay to be closed. Second lock can lock the car door in a parallel fashion, in which the lock can lock the mechanical elements of the main lock.
Received commands by the receiver unit inside car lock can cut connection of electric circuit of car lock or break mechanical connection of lock elements.
It can be equipped with child lock for rear doors of the car. Transmitted signals from command center of the car is intelligible only to the installed locks of the car.
Relay for switching off the electric power of engine and start can be equipped with a receiver of instruction codes and side relay for giving anti-theft feature to the vehicle and it can be installed on any kind of vehicle, anti-theft door equipment, safes, doors and residential building windows as well as offices.
