The claimed technical result is achieved by using a device for protecting a power cable in a well, which comprises a housing with clamping half-yokes which are manufactured from a wire or a rod and are hingedly connected on one side to the housing, wherein the half-yokes are connected on the other side to the housing by means of lock joints.
