- 인코딩 장치에 의하여 수행되는 영상 인코딩 방법에 있어서,현재 블록의 주변 샘플들을 도출하는 단계;상기 현재 블록의 MPM(Most Proable Mode) 후보들을 포함하는 MPM 리스트를 구성하는 단계;상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드를 결정하되, 상기 인트라 예측 모드는 상기 MPM 후보들을 제외한 나머지 인트라 예측 모드들 중 하나인 단계;상기 주변 샘플들 및 상기 인트라 예측 모드를 기반으로 상기 현재 블록의 예측 샘플을 생성하는 단계; 및상기 현재 블록에 대한 리메이닝(remaining) 인트라 예측 모드 정보를 포함하는 영상 정보를 인코딩하는 단계를 포함하되,상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보는 상기 현재 블록의 상기 인트라 예측 모드를 나타내고,상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보는 TB(truncated binary) 이진화(binarization) 프로세스를 통하여 코딩되고,상기 TB 이진화 프로세스에 대한 이진화 파라미터는 60인 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 인코딩 방법.
- 제12항에 있어서,상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보의 값이 특정값보다 작은 경우, 상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보는 k 비트의 이진값으로 이진화되고,상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보의 값이 특정값보다 크거나 같은 경우, 상기 리메이닝 인트라 예측 모드 정보는 k+1 비트의 이진값으로 이진화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 인코딩 방법.
- 제13항에 있어서,상기 특정값 및 상기 k 는 상기 TB 이진화 프로세스에 대한 상기 이진화 파라미터를 기반으로 도출되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 인코딩 방법.
