If the tow cable breaks this system prevents the vehicle from rolling back off the ramp and into oncoming traffic preventing accidents and/or injuries as previously mentioned.

Coupling of the webbed strapping 130 to the rollable object occurs before a connection means to the deck 104 is performed. If the connection means to the deck 104 comes undone (uncoupled in some way) then the locking strap system 100 prevents the uncontrolled relative movement of the rollable object from occurring (in a rearward motion).
  • the winding shaft 124 comprises a cylindrical profile and the webbed strapping 130 comprises a flat profile; wherein the webbed strapping 130 (or the like) is able to be sequentially wound and unwound from the winding shaft 124.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de sangle de verrouillage, comprenant : un ensemble sangle de verrouillage, présentant un dispositif de rétraction et d'enroulement doté d'un corps principal, un arbre d'enroulement monté rotatif sur le corps principal, l'arbre d'enroulement pouvant enrouler, en série, une certaine longueur de cerclage en bande, le cerclage en bande pouvant être enroulé et rétracté en alternance séquentiellement sur la base de forces appliquées sur ce dernier, le cerclage en bande, lorsqu'il est libéré, étant enroulé autour de l'arbre d'enroulement par l'intermédiaire de ressorts, une roue à rochet, qui est montée rotative sur l'arbre d'enroulement, un cliquet destiné à une mise en prise sélective avec la roue à rochet destinée à amener les ressorts à réduire un couple exercé sur l'arbre d'enroulement et, par conséquent, à réduire une rétraction de la force exercée sur le cerclage en bande, et le système de sangle de verrouillage étant conçu pour fournir un moyen sûr pour fixer un objet enroulable pour empêcher un mouvement relatif non contrôlé ; le cerclage en bande pouvant être accouplé amovible à l'objet enroulable.
