The application relates to the field of small home appliances, and in particular, a mixing bowl assembly for a food processor and a food processor comprising the mixing bowl assembly.
Background of the Invention
With people’s living standards increasing day by day, many different types of food processors appear on the market. The functions of a food processor can mainly include, but are not limited to: making soy milk, juicing, making rice paste, grinding meat, making shaved ice, making coffee, and/or preparing facial masks. Food processors can include machines that break and mix food, such as soy milk makers, blenders, and cell wall breaking food processors. Since the mixing blade assembly of existing food processors, especially of cell wall breaking food processors, are fixed in the mixing bowl, one can only use a brush to clean the blade assembly inside of the bowl. It is often hard to operate when the mixing bowl is deep. At the same time, inevitable blind spots for the cleaning exist in the mixing bowl assembly, which make it susceptible to bacteria growth and undesirable odors.
Summary of the Invention
The objective of the application is to provide a mixing bowl assembly for a food processor and a food processor comprising the mixing bowl assembly, during the cleaning of which, a mixing blade assembly can be removed, so as to achieve a thorough cleaning and facilitate the assembly/disassembly.
One aspect of the application provides a mixing bowl assembly for a food processor. The mixing bowl assembly for a food processor comprises: a mixing bowl, the bottom of the mixing bowl is provided with a first limiting part; ; a mixing blade assembly; and a fastener comprising a body part, a second limiting part provided at the body part, and an operation portion, the fastener being rotated by means of the operation portion, causing the second limiting part to rotate until it cooperates with the first limiting part, so as to removably mount the mixing blade assembly to the mixing bowl and seal the bottom of the mixing bowl.
Optionally, the first limiting part and the second limiting part are snap-fit bosses that cooperate with each other.
Optionally, the mixing bowl comprises a bowl body and a bowl base provided at the bottom of the bowl body, the first limiting part being disposed at a side wall of the bottom of the bowl base.
Optionally, the operation portion is provided at the outer side of the body part, and the bottom of the bowl base is provided with a notch for the rotation of the operation portion.
Optionally, the operation portion is mounted to the body part in a manner capable of rotating upward and downward relative to the body part.
Optionally, a pair of flanges is outwardly protruded from the bowl base, the operation portion being received between the pair of flanges after rotated upward.
Optionally, the operation portion is provided with protrusions at both sides, and the flanges are correspondingly provided with recesses at their inner side that cooperate with the protrusions.
Optionally, a terminal end of the operation portion is provided with a handling end located at a distance away from the outer side wall of the bowl base.
Optionally, the operation portion is integrally formed with and extending outward from the body part.
Optionally, the outer side of a side wall of the bowl base is provided with a locking structure for locking with the operation portion of the fastener.
Optionally, the locking structure comprises a locking element that cooperates with the operation portion and an elastic element that applies an elastic force to the locking element.
Optionally, the locking element is provided with a locking part, and the operation portion is provided with a locking slot capable of cooperating with the locking part.
Optionally, the locking structure further comprises a fixing frame for receiving the locking element and the elastic element. An end wall of the fixing frame is provided with an opening, through which the locking part of the locking element extends out.
Optionally, the locking element is provided with a toggling part, a side wall of the fixing frame is provided with a side opening, and the toggling part extends through the side opening and is capable of sliding upward and downward along the side opening.
Optionally, a pair of flanges is outwardly protruded from the bowl base, and the locking structure is disposed between the pair of flanges.
Optionally, the mixing blade assembly comprises a blade assembly, a fixing base fitted with the blade assembly, and a sealing ring provided at the fixing base and seals the bottom of the bowl body.
Optionally, the fixing base comprises a base and a base plate fixed to the base.
Optionally, the periphery of the base plate has a ring-shaped recess that cooperates with a side wall of the base to form a receiving space for receiving the sealing ring.
Another aspect of the application provides a food processor. The food processor comprises a main unit on which the mixing bowl assembly for a food processor described above can be removably mounted.
Optionally, the main unit is provided with a positioning part having a positioning slot for receiving the flanges.
When the mixing bowl assembly of the application needs to be cleaned after use, the fastener is rotated by means of the operation portion, causing the disengagement of the first limiting part and the second limiting part. Thus, the fastener can be removed, and further, the mixing blade assembly can be detached for a thorough cleaning. Since there is no longer any blind spot of the mixing blade assembly that cannot be cleaned, bacteria growth and undesirable odors are effectively prevented. Moreover, with the fastener being rotated by means of the operation portion, the operation is facilitated and the required force is reduced.

Detailed Description of the Invention
Exemplary embodiments, which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, will be described in detail here. In the description below related to figures, unless otherwise indicated, the same numbers in different figures refer to the same or similar elements. The modes of realization described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all modes of realization in accordance with the application. Instead, they are merely examples of devices in accordance with some aspects of the application described in detail in the appended claims.
The terms used in the application are merely for the purpose of describing specific embodiments, and not intended to be limiting. Unless otherwise defined, the technical terms or scientific terms used in the application shall be used in the ordinary meaning as understood by a person of ordinary skills in the art to which the invention belongs. The words “First, ” “second, ” and similar terms used in the description and claims of the application do not represent any order, quantity, or importance, but are used to distinguish different components. Similarly, words such as “one” or “a” do not denote a quantity limitation but mean that there is at least one. “Multiple” or “several” means two or more. Unless otherwise indicated, words such as “front, ” “back, ” “bottom, ” and/or “top” are used for convenience of description and are not limited to one location or one spatial orientation. Words such as “comprise, ” or “include” are intended to mean that the element or item before “comprise” or “include” covers the element or item listed after “comprise” or “include” and its equivalent, without excluding other elements or items. Words such as “connect” or “connected” are not limited to physical or mechanical connections, and may include electrical connections, whether direct or indirect. Singular forms, “one” and “the, ” used in the description and the appended claims of the application are also intended to include the plural form, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. It should also be understood that the term “and/or” used herein means and includes any and all possible combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
Figures 1 to 10 are schematic views of one embodiment of the food processor 500 of the application; figures 11 to 15 are schematic views of another embodiment of the food processor 500 of the application. In the two embodiments, the same reference numbers are used for the same structures.
With reference to Fig. 1, the food processor 500 comprises a main unit 200, a mixing bowl assembly 100, and a bowl cover assembly 300. The mixing bowl assembly 100 is removably mounted to the main unit 200. The bowl cover assembly 300 is provided to cover the mixing bowl assembly 100 and comprises a bowl cover 310 and a venting cover 330 provided inside a hole 320 within the bowl cover 310.
With reference to Figs. 2 and 7, the mixing bowl assembly 100 for a food processor (referred to below as the “mixing bowl assembly” ) comprises a mixing bowl 10, a mixing blade assembly 20, and a fastener 30. The bottom of the mixing bowl 10 is provided with a first limiting part 122. The fastener 30 comprises a body part 31, a second limiting part 32 provided at the body part 31, and an operation portion 33 by means of which the fastener 30 is rotated, causing the second limiting part 32 to  rotate until it cooperates with the first limiting part 122, so as to removably mount the mixing blade assembly 20 to the mixing bowl 10 and seal the bottom of the mixing bowl 10. When the mixing bowl assembly 100 needs to be cleaned after being used, the fastener 30 is rotated by means of the operation portion 33, causing the disengagement of the first limiting part 122 and the second limiting part 32. Thus, the fastener 30 can be removed, and further, the mixing blade assembly 20 can be removed for a thorough cleaning. There is no longer any blind spot of the mixing blade assembly 20 that cannot be cleaned, effectively preventing bacteria growth and undesirable odors. Moreover, the fastener 30 being rotated by means of the operation portion 33, the operation is facilitated and the required force is reduced.
In the illustrated embodiment, the first limiting part 122 and the second limiting part 32 are snap-fit bosses that cooperate with each other. By means of the rotation of the second limiting part 32 until it is positioned above the first limiting part 122, the mixing blade assembly 20 is removably mounted to the mixing bowl 10 and sealing the bottom of the mixing bowl 10. The structure is simple, and the mounting is facilitated.
The mixing bowl 10 comprises a bowl body 11 and a bowl base 12 provided at the bottom of the bowl body 11. The first limiting part 122 is disposed at a side wall of the bottom of the bowl base 12.
With reference to figures 3 and 4, a lower opening 113 is formed at the bottom of the bowl body 11, an upper opening 114 (i.e., the bowl opening) is formed at the top of the bowl body 11. The bowl body 11 is in the shape of a barrel that is through from top to bottom. In the illustrated embodiment, the bowl body 11 is in the shape of a circular barrel, with its transversal section being circular. In another embodiment, the side wall of the bowl body 11 gradually converges inward from top to bottom. In other words, the side wall is inclined relative to the axis of the bowl body 11, with for example a relatively small inclination. In another embodiment, the side wall of the bowl body 11 is parallel to the axis of the bowl body 11. Of course, the bowl body 11 can be in another shape and is not limited to the given examples.
In the illustrated embodiment, the bowl base 12 is substantially in the shape of a circular cylinder and is adapted to the shape of the bowl body 11. The mixing bowl 10 further comprises a fixing frame 13, by means of which the bowl base 12 is fixed to the bottom of the bowl body 11. A screw 128 is provided at the inner side of the bowl base 12 and has a first screw hole 1281. The fixing frame 13 has the shape of a circular ring and provided at the inner side of the bowl base 12. The fixing frame 13 is  provided with a second screw hole 132 that corresponds to the first screw hole 1281 of the bowl base 12. The side wall at the bottom of the bowl body 11 is provided with a first snap-fit boss 111. The bowl base 12 is provided with a second snap-fit boss 125 that cooperates with the first snap-fit boss 111 and a first stopper 126 located at one side of the first snap-fit boss 111. The fixing frame 13 is provided with a second stopper 131 protrudingly located at the other side of the first snap-fit boss 111. When the bowl base 12 is mounted to the bowl body 11, the bottom of the bowl body 11 is first inserted into the bowl base 12, then the bowl base 12 is rotated by a certain angle, so that the second snap-fit boss 125 is positioned above the first snap-fit boss 111 and engaged with the first snap-fit boss 111 in a snap-fit manner. At this moment, the first stopper 126 is located at one side of the first snap-fit boss 111, so that the bowl base 12 cannot continue to rotate. Then, the fixing frame 13 is placed inside the bowl base 12 along the inner wall of the bowl base 12 and fixed to the bowl base 12 by having a fastening element passing through the second screw hole 132 and the first screw hole 1281. At this moment, the second stopper 131 is located at the other side of the first snap-fit boss 111, so that the bowl base 12 cannot rotate towards the other direction. Thus, the bowl base 12 is fixed to the bowl body 11.
In another embodiment, the bowl body 11 and the bowl base 12 are integrally formed.
Now refer to figures 5 and 6. The mixing blade assembly 20 comprises a blade assembly 21, a fixing base 22 fitted with the blade assembly 21, and a sealing ring 23 provided at the fixing base 22. The sealing ring 23 seals the bottom of the bowl body 11. In the illustrated embodiment, the fixing base 22 comprises a base 221 and a base plate 222 fixed to the base 221. The food processor 500 in the embodiment has a heating function, and the main unit 200 is provided with a heating element 210 (see Fig. 2) . The base plate 222 is made of a metal material having good heat conductivity. The base plate 222 is pressed against the heating element 210 for transferring the heat produced by the heating element 210 to the mixing bowl 100. The base 221 has a substantially cylindrical shape. The base plate 222 is fixed inside the base 221. The base 221 and the base plate 222 may be fixed by fasteners but are not limited thereto. The periphery of the base plate 222 has a ring-shaped recess 2221 that cooperates with the side wall of the base 221 to form a receiving space for receiving the sealing ring 23 which cooperates with the bottom of the bowl body 11 for sealing. In another embodiment, the food processor 500 does not have a heating function, and the base plate 222 does not have a heat transfer function. The base plate 222 and the base 221 may also be integrally formed.
The blade assembly 21 comprises a base body 211, a blade shaft 212 that passes through the base body 211, and a plurality of blades 213 fixed to the blade shaft 212. The bottom of the blade shaft 212 is provided with an upper connecter 214 that cooperates with a lower connecter of an electric motor inside the main unit 200. Driven by the electric motor, the blade shaft 212 rotates to drive the blades 213 to rotate inside the mixing bowl 100. The base body 211 comprises a body part 2111 and a cooperating part 2112 located below the body part 2111. The body part 2111 peripherally protruding from the cooperating part 2112. The cooperating part 2112 is provided with a screw thread. A nut 215 cooperates with the screw thread of the cooperating part 2112 so that the base plate 222 abuts against the body part 2111. The base plate 222 is fixed by being clamped by the nut 215 and the body part 2111. Finally, the sealing ring 23 is mounted in the receiving space. As such, the assembling of the mixing blade assembly 20 is completed.
With reference to figures 7 to 10, the bowl base 12 is provided with three first limiting parts 122 distributed uniformly along the periphery of the side wall. Correspondingly, the fastener 30 is provided with three second limiting parts 32 that respectively cooperate with the first limiting parts 122. In other embodiments, the quantity of the first limiting parts 122 and second limiting parts 32 can also be one, two, four, five, etc., without being limited thereto.
In the illustrated embodiment, the mating faces of the first limiting parts 122 and the second limiting parts 32 extend obliquely relative to the bottom of the bowl base 12, and the angles of inclination are substantially the same. In this way, the screwing of the first limiting portion 122 and the second limiting portion 32 is conveniently tightened.
One end of the first limiting parts 122 extends upward to form a stopping portion 123 located at one side of the second limiting parts 32. In this way, the fastener 30 is not excessively rotated and the first limiting parts 122 and the second limiting parts 32 can cooperate with each other more accurately. At the same time, during the use, the disengagement of the first limiting parts 122 and the second limiting parts 32 due to vibrations of the food processor 500 can be avoided, thus ensuring that the mixing blade assembly 20 is stably fixed at the bottom of the bowl base 11 by means of the fastener 30.
The operation portion 33 may be in the shape of an arm, a plot, or a dome, and may be provided at the outer side of the body part 31 or on the bottom face of the body part  31. In the illustrated embodiment, the operation portion 33 is provided at the outer side of the body part 31. The bottom of the bowl base 12 is provided with a notch 124 for the rotation of the operation portion 33. During mounting, the mixing blade assembly 20 is first placed at the bottom of the mixing bowl 11, then the fastener 30 is placed inside the bowl base 12, with the operation portion 33 being located at the side of the notch 124. A user holds and turns the operation portion 33, so that the fastener 30 is rotated by a certain angle with respect to the bowl base 12, until the second limiting parts 32 are turned above the first limiting parts 32 and they abut against each other. Thus, by means of the fastener 30, the mixing blade assembly 20 is mounted at the bottom of the mixing bowl 10. The arrangement of the operation portion 33 facilitates the handling of the fastener 30 by a user.
In the illustrated embodiment, the operation portion 33 is mounted to the body part 31 in a way capable of rotating upward and downward relative to the body part 31. Specifically, the fastener 30 is provided with a mounting portion 37 that protrudes radially outward. The mounting portion 37 is provided with a pair of mounting holes 371, in which a pin 372 is fixed. The operation portion 33 is rotatably disposed on the pin 372. In another embodiment, one end of the operation portion 33 is provided with a pair of rotation shafts, and the fastener 30 is provided with a pair of shaft holes that cooperate with the rotation shafts, which also can achieve that the operation portion 33 is mounted to the body part 31 in a way capable of rotating upward and downward relative to the body part 31, without being limited to this.
In the embodiment illustrated, a pair of flanges 127 is outwardly protruded from the bowl base 12. The operation portion 33 is received between the pair of flanges 127 after being rotated upward. During mounting, the second limiting parts 32 is turned above the first limiting parts 122, the operation portion 33 is rotated upward so as to be located between the flanges 127. In this way, during the use of the food processor 500, the user is effectively prevented from touching the operation portion 33. Moreover, the operation portion 33 cannot be received between the flanges 127 unless it is mounted to a preset position, thus avoiding the leakage of the mixing bowl assembly 100 caused by improper mounting of the fastener 30. Further, the operation portion 33 is provided with protrusions 331 at both sides. Correspondingly, the inner side of the flanges 127 is provided with recesses 1271 that cooperate with the protrusions 331, so that the operation portion 33 can be fixed between the flanges 127. Therefore, the fastener 30 is advantageously maintained stable. At the same time, it is possible to avoid the occurrence of noise produced by the collision between the operation portion 33 and the flanges 127 due to the vibrations of the food processor  500 during use.
In the illustrated embodiment, a terminal end of the operation portion 33 is provided with a handling end 332. When the operation portion 33 is received between the flanges 127, the handling end 332 is located at a distance away from the bowl base 12.The operation portion 33 is in contact with the outer side wall of the bowl base 12 or spaced from it by a relatively small gap. The thickness of the handling end 332 is smaller than that of the operation portion 33. The handling end 332 is formed by extending from the outer side of the terminal end of the operation portion 33, so that a certain distance is created between the handling end 332 and the outer side wall of the bowl base 12. Thus, during dismounting, with reference to figure 9, a user may easily pull out the operation portion 33 from the flanges 127 by means of the handling end 332, then rotate the fastener 30 by a certain angle by turning the operation portion 33, thereby causing the disengagement of the second limiting parts 32 and the first limiting parts 122, which allows the mixing blade assembly 20 to be removed.
The body part 31 of the fastener 30 is provided with a protruding part 34 which is located on the body part 31 opposite to the operation portion 33. Thus, a user mounts or removes the fastener 30 by holding the operation portion 33 and the protruding part 34 of the fastener 30 at the same time, so as to facilitate the operation.
The main unit 200 is provided with a positioning part 220 having a positioning slot 221 for receiving the flanges 127. The positioning part 220 is protruded from the upper surface of the main unit 200 and is substantially U-shaped. The cooperation between the positioning part 220 and the flanges 127 can fix the position of the mixing bowl 10 to avoid the instability due to vibrations of the main unit during use. In the embodiment, the flanges 127 and the operation portion 33 are received together in the positioning slot 221. If the operation portion 33 is not mounted between the pair of flanges 127, the mixing bowl assembly 100 cannot be mounted onto the main unit 200. After the mixing bowl assembly 100 is mounted to the main unit 200, the positioning part 220 can also prevent the operation portion 33 from rotating downward and being loosed.
Now refer to figures 11 to 15. In this embodiment, the operation portion 33 is integrally formed with and extending outward from the body part 31. The operation portion 33 protrudes from the side wall of the bowl base 12 so as to facilitate the rotation of the fastener 30 by means of the operation portion 33 by a user.
The outer side of the side wall of the bowl base 12 is provided with a locking structure 121 for locking with the operation portion 33 of the fastener 30. When a user rotates  the fastener 30 by means of the operation portion 33 until the second limiting parts 32 is rotated to cooperate with the first limiting parts 122, the operation portion 33 is locked with the locking structure 121, so as to prevent the fastener 30 from rotating and being loosed during use of the food processor 500.
The locking structure 121 comprises a locking element 1211 that cooperates with the operation portion 33 and an elastic element 1212 that applies an elastic force to the locking element 1211. Under the elastic force of the elastic element 1212, the locking element 1211 is in a locked state with the operation portion 33. When the locking element 1211 is pressed towards the direction of the elastic element 1212, the locking element 1211 compresses the elastic element 1212 and is displaced, thereby releasing the locked state of the locking element 1211 and the operation portion 33. As such, after being rotated by a certain angle, the fastener 30 can be removed, and the mixing blade assembly 20 can thus be detached.
The locking element 1211 is provided with a locking part 1210. The operation portion 33 is provided with a locking slot 335 that can cooperate with the locking part 1210. In the illustrated embodiment, one side of the locking part 1210 is provided with a guiding face 1215 that cooperates with the operation portion 33. During mounting, a user rotates the operation portion 33. When the operation portion 33 is rotated to abut against the guiding face 1215, the locking element 1211 is solicited and starts to compress the elastic element 1212 and to move towards the elastic element 1212. When the operation portion 33 is rotated to a position where its locking slot 335 faces the locking part 1210, the locking element 1211 enters the locking slot 335 under the elastic force of the elastic element 1212, and forms a latching engagement with the operation portion 33. At this moment, the second limiting parts 32 and the first limiting parts 122 cooperate. Thus, the mixing blade assembly 20 is fixed at the bottom of the mixing bowl 10 by means of the fastener 30.
The locking structure 121 further comprises a fixing frame 1213 for receiving the locking element 1211 and the elastic element 1212. An end wall of the fixing frame 1213 is provided with an opening 12131 through which the locking part 1210 of the locking element 1211 extends out. The two ends of the elastic element 1212 respectively abut against the fixing frame 1213 and the locking element 1211. In the illustrated embodiment, the elastic element 1212 is a coil spring. In other embodiments, the elastic element 1212 may also be an elastic rubber member, a flat metal spring, etc.
The locking element 1211 is provided with a toggling part 12111. The side wall of the fixing frame 1213 is provided with a side opening 12132. The toggling part 12111 extends through the side opening 12132 and can slide upward and downward along the side opening 12132. When the mixing blade assembly 20 needs to be detached, the toggling part 12111 is pushed upward along the side opening 12132, so that the locking part 1210 leaves the locking slot 335 and the locking state of the locking element 1211 and the operation portion 33 is released. Thus, the fastener 30 can be removed after being rotated by a certain angle, and the mixing blade assembly 20 can then be detached for cleaning.
In the embodiment, three protruding parts 34 protrude downwardly from the bottom face of the body part 31 and are uniformly distributed along the body part 31. Thus, a user can mount or dismount the fastener 30 by holding the operation portion 33 and protruding parts of the fastener 30 at the same time, which facilitates the handling.
A pair of flanges 127 protrude outwardly from the bowl base 12 and the locking structure 121 is disposed between the pair of flanges 127. Thus, the locking structure 121 can be protected while preventing the operation portion 33 or the locking element 1211 from being touched during use.
In the embodiment, the flanges 127, the locking structure 121 between the flanges 127, and the operation portion 33 latched with the locking structure 121 are all received in the positioning slot 221. If the operation portion 33 is not in the latched position with the locking structure 121, then the mixing bowl assembly 100 cannot be mounted onto the main unit 200. After the mixing bowl assembly 100 is mounted to the main unit 200, the positioning part 220 can also prevent the operation portion 33 from rotating downward and being loosed.
What has been described above are merely preferred embodiments of the application, and not for the purpose of limiting the application. Any modification, equivalent replacement or improvement within the spirit and principles of the application should be included in the scope of protection of the application.
