Abstract
The present invention relates to a glucose-measuring device for the elderly and those with special needs, which measures blood glucose level by means of three features in a single device, namely, light, sound and vibration, with the result appearing in Arabic on the screen of the device. By means of the result, the user can identify whether the glucose level is high, low or moderate. The measurement is carried out when the user is at home, without the need to rush or waste time going to health centres for the daily examination to measure the blood glucose level. The device is characterised in that it can distinguish readings and identify whether the blood glucose level is normal or abnormal using the features of light, sound and vibration, by means of which features the user can identify the blood glucose level. The device is available in two types: one that uses puncturing for whoever prefers that because of the accuracy of the result; and another that uses radiation, i.e. spectrometry, for whoever dislikes puncturing. There is a connected smartphone application for storing the results, which is connected to the glucose-measuring device by means of Bluetooth.
