Abstract

The invention relates to a flexible tubular container (tube) for storing liquid and pasty substances, for the extraction of which said tubular container is subjected to deformation in order to expel the contents of the packaging. The main part of the tube body consists of an external layer and an internal layer, each of which has a line of weakness, wherein the lines of weakness are offset from each other along the axis of the body. The external layer and the internal layer can be separated between the lines of weakness. Such a design makes it possible for the body, once broken open, to be reassembled by inserting part of the internal layer into the external layer in a reattachment region, thus allowing the contents to be preserved from the moment the site of weakness is broken open until the contents of the tube have been completely used.
