Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes pour déterminer un niveau de risque d'une maladie neurodégénérative par l'analyse des niveaux d'expression d'une pluralité de transcrits d'ARN d'un échantillon. Le procédé utilise un imageur, un aimant, une source de lumière et une cellule d'écoulement qui comprend une surface fonctionnalisée possédant une pluralité de sondes de capture. Chacune de la pluralité de sondes de capture est conçue pour lier des molécules dans l'échantillon comprenant l'un de la pluralité de transcrits d'ARN. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : liaison de molécules dans l'échantillon à une particule magnétique; orientation des molécules vers la surface fonctionnalisée à l'aide de l'aimant; liaison de chaque molécule spécifique parmi les molécules à l'une de la pluralité de sondes de capture conçues pour se lier au transcrit d'ARN de la molécule spécifique; orientation d'un faisceau lumineux provenant de la source de lumière vers des molécules liées sur chacune de la pluralité de sondes de capture; capture de la lumière depuis les molécules liées; détermination d'une quantité des molécules liées qui sont liées sur chacune de la pluralité de sondes de capture sur la base de la lumière capturée; détermination d'une pluralité de niveaux d'expression correspondant à la pluralité de transcrits d'ARN sur la base de la quantité des molécules liées qui sont liées sur chacune de la pluralité de sondes de capture conçues pour se lier à chacun de la pluralité de transcrits d'ARN; et calcul d'un risque de la maladie neurodégénérative sur la base de la pluralité de niveaux d'expression de la pluralité de transcrits d'ARN.
