DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Below, embodiments of the present invention will be described in greater detail with reference to the drawings. It should be noted that the figures are illustrative rather than limiting. The figures are not drawn to scale, do not illustrate every aspect of the described embodiments, and do not limit the scope of the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is a schematic view of an electric massage device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In this embodiment, the electric massage device applies cold while providing a massage. Referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the electric massage device comprises a massager body 11, a motor 13 disposed in the massager body 11, a shaft 14 connected with and driven by the motor 13 and a plurality of wheels 12 driven by the shaft 14. The wheels 12 are detachably attached to the shaft 14 . When in use, the wheels 12 are placed on skin of a person, the motor 13 drives the shaft 14 together with the wheels 12 to rotate about the axis of the shaft 14, and the fiction between the skin and the wheels 12 drives the wheels 12 to rotate about the axis of the wheels on the skin to thereby provide a massage. The wheels 12 are provided with cryogel so that they can apply cryotherapy in motion. Before use, the wheels 12 with the cryogel are disassembled from the massager body 11 and stored inside a fridge to frozen the cryogel. When in use, the wheels 12 are taken out from the fridge and assembled to the massager body 11.
Referring to the Fig. 3, the wheels 12 are hollowed and each comprises a cavity 120 and a wall enclosed the cavity 120. The cavity 120 is filled with the cryogel.  The wall of the wheel 12 has a thickness. The wall of the wheel 12 has a volume, the cavity 120 has a volume too, and the volume of the wall of the wheel 12 is 25%of the volume of the cavity 120, so that a predetermined temperature range of the wheels 12 can last at least 10 minutes after the wheels 12 are taken out of the freezer. The temperature reached by the cryogel filled in the wheels 12 will be the temperature of the freezer where we store the head massage. When the wheels 12 are taken out of the freezer the temperature of the cryogel filled in the wheels 12 are -20.5℃, and after 10 minutes they drop to -6℃. Generally the motion cryotherapy treatment should not take more than 5 minutes. So it is enough for motion cryotherapy treatment. As we can see in the fig. 4, before we apply the wheels 12 (cool massage ) in a person leg (thigh ) , the temperature of the wheels 12 (cool massage ) is about -20.5℃, and after 10 minutes the temperature of the wheels (cool massage ) drop to -6℃. The temperature of personleg (thigh ) drops from normal body temperature (about 33℃ ) to a lower temperature (about 28℃ ) after motion cryotherapy treatment. It should be noted that the changes in person skin temperature are not limited to figs. 4 , and it depends on the temperature of the wheels (cool massage ) before starting the motion cryotherapy treatment and the usage time.
It is optimum that the thickness of the wall of the wheel 12 is in the range of 20mm-22mm, and the thickness of the wall of the wheel 12 is preferably 21.5mm which causes the electric massage device to have good effect of both insulation and cryotherapy.
The electric massage device further comprises a connecting member which comprises a mounting portion 16 mounted to the shaft 14 and a plurality of connecting rods 15 extending outwardly from the mounting portion 16. In this embodiment, the mounting portion 16 is ring-shaped and the connecting member comprises three connecting rods 15. Each of the wheels 12 is mounted to a corresponding connecting rod 15 with the connecting rod 15 passing through the center of the wheel. Each of the wheels 12 has a radial section, i.e., a section extending along radial directions of the wheel) , the shaft 14 has a center axis, the connecting rod 15 has a center axis, the center axis of the connecting rod 15 can have any angle with respect to the center axis of the shaft 14 as long as the radial section of each of the wheels 12 is parallel to center axis of the shaft 14, so that when the electric massage device acts vertically on the skin, the  circumference of the wheels 12 fits the skin. Preferably, the center axis of the connecting rod 15 is perpendicular to the center axis of the shaft 14, so that the electric massage device is more compact in structure.
When the electric massage device is not in use, the wheels 12 can be disassembled from the connecting rods 15 one by one. Alternatively, the mounting portion 16 can be disassembled from the shaft 14 to disassemble all the wheels 12 from the massager body 11 at the same time.
Preferably, the wheels 12 have unflat outer surface with a plurality of dome-shaped protrusions so that it can make a kind of waves that help penetrating deeper in the muscles but not so hard as some of the cryo treatments are to heal damaged muscles. In other words, the wheels 12 have unflat outer surface in order to provide a more effective massage and boost muscles healing process as well as edema (liquid retention) elimination through lymphatic system.
The walls of the wheels 12 are preferably made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE) , making the wheels 12 lighter, smoother and easy to mold, besides, the walls of the wheels 12 may be made of other materials, especially plastic, for example Low-density polyethylene.
The cryogel is preferably made of sodium polyacrylate gel liquid, so that it is not easy to corrupt and can be stored for a long time, besides, the cryogel may be made of other gel liquid that can be cooled and maintain the temperature for a long time.
The number of the wheels 12 may be any, for example 3, 4 and 5, and 3 is preferred, so that they can do a more effective massage since they can reproduce easy kneading hand-made massage. The three wheels 12 are symmetrically arranged along the circumference of the shaft 14, making the skin get average massages.
A speed reduction gear train is connected between the shaft 14 and the motor 13. The motor 13 can drive the shaft 14 via the speed reduction gear train to rotate or generate a tremor to provide a different massage effect.
Each of the wheels 12 acts as a massage head of the electric massage device. In addition to the wheels 12, the massage head can be formed into any other shape.
Referring to Fig. 1, the massager body 11 comprises an enclosure and the  motor is installed within the enclosure. The massage heads are partly received in the enclosure and rotatable relative to the enclosure.
Therefore, the technical solutions of embodiments of the present invention have been clearly and completely described above. Apparently, the described embodiments are merely part of, rather than all of, the embodiments of the present invention. A person skilled in the art may make various combinations of technical features in the various embodiments to meet practical needs. Based on the described embodiments of the present invention, any other embodiment obtained by a person skilled in the art without paying creative efforts shall also fall within the scope of the present invention.
