L'unité de commande est reliée au capuchon d'aiguille à partir de l'intérieur de l'unité de poignée et commande la longueur sur laquelle le capuchon d'aiguille est exposé à l'extérieur de l'unité de poignée par déplacement vers l'avant et vers l'arrière le long des premières rainures formant rail et des secondes rainures formant rail, pour permettre à l'extrémité avant de l'aiguille d'être sélectivement exposée. L'élément élastique est disposé dans les rainures de réception et supporte élastiquement le capuchon d'aiguille dans la direction avant.
