Abstract

The aim of the invention is to prevent contact of the hands with urine during urine sampling procedures, to provide conditions of asepsis, and to be able to resuse the device. To this end, the device consists of a flexible rectangular packaging (1) with a pressure closure, the inner faces of the walls thereof being stuck to opposite points of a spherical container (4) which is also flexible. The container merges into a tubular neck (5) with a lower, inner "male-female" seal (6) next to the top of the container (4), the neck expanding towards a mouth (7) having a contact rim (8) on the periphery thereof, to which a disposable adhesive absorbent (9) of the same shape is applied, bordered by an upper, outer male-female seal (10). For the use of said device, pulling on the neck, the user positions the contact rim such that it faces the pelvic or genital area, placing the absorbent (9) around this area, thereby preventing leakage of urine which is directed through the tubular neck (5) to the spherical container (4). When it is full, the container expands, accompanied by the packaging (1) which "opens up" its walls and, when the procedure is completed, the inner seal (6) is closed, the absorbent (9) removed and the side contact edges (8) folded and closed, also by applying pressure, against the upper seal (10), preventing any sampling residue remaining in the mouth (7). After being washed and sanitised, the sampling device (C) can be wrapped up again and reused.

Description

“MALABLE REUSABLE SAFE SAFETY URINE COLLECTION SYSTEM” [001] This specification relates to a patent application for a soft, rubber or latex silicone urine collector by an innovative anatomically sealed nozzle, extending the sealed tubular neck to a spherical shell, the latter being tied to a soft silicone, rubber or latex packaging with a ziplock closure that holds, Preserves and hides the entire body of the urine collector, resulting in a product of remarkable functionality and discretion.

Its malleable nozzle allows perfect engagement with the user's pelvic region so that urine collection is carried out hygienically without spillage and is directed through the tubular neck directly into the spherical reservoir. Neck and nozzle seals work together for correct sealing, preventing leaks, contamination of collected material and contact of urine with the user.

TECHNICAL STATE

[003] As is well known, urine collection products are available on the market in a variety of ways. As an example, the parrot nozzle collector, made of rigid PVC, is formed by a circular nozzle with a converging cap on an elongated neck that extends to a “vessel” type reservoir. Thus, when collecting urine, the user removes its cap and positions the genitalia or pelvic region as best as it can to direct the urine through the collector nozzle, surpassing its neck until it reaches and accumulates in the reservoir. After this step, the urine is immediately discarded as the collector does not contain the sealing cap of the collected liquid. Other examples of collectors found on the market are those of plastic bag configuration, with mouthpiece provided with tapes for adhesion in the user's pelvic or genital area, in addition to the cup-style collector with lid.

[005] The main problems of the above-mentioned collectors are discomfort and the difficulty of collecting properly hygienically. The parrot nozzle collector, for example, being made of rigid material does not contemplate the anatomy of the user, bringing discomfort due to the difficulty in positioning (or fitting) the genital organ in its round mouthpiece, as well as the need for immediate disengagement due to absence. cap / seal, causing leakage of urine during handling. This is also the case with the “cup with lid” collector. Because it is a simple cup-shaped container of translucent material without its own neck or reservoir, there is a risk of leakage of urine, as well as exposure to the naked eye of the collected fluid, which causes discomfort and embarrassment, which is the main object of complaint by users. The “bag” type collector with adhesive nozzle does not allow cleaning, being a single use product with direct application, which can cause irritation to the user's skin by the strong adhesion of its glue, especially those more sensitive to chemical compounds.

PATENT OBJECTIVE

Precisely to avoid any possibility of user contact with the urine and yet provide comfortable use and hygiene from a discrete product, which remains in a configuration away from the visual characteristics of a common urine collector, was developed the collector malleable reason for this patent application. Superficially explained, the urine collector and its method of use are further detailed through the accompanying drawings, as follows:

[017] In accordance with the accompanying figures, the "REALABLE SAFETY URBAN COLLECTION SYSTEM MALABLE DEVICE", the subject-matter of this present application is, as shown in Figure 1, from a soft (1) rectangular package made of silicone, rubber or latex, fitted with a ziplock closure (2) at its free edge (3). [019] For use, as shown in Figure 2, the user will open the ziplock (2) by its free edge (3). Then pull the tabs (7a) or contact face (8) from the collector (C) until the nozzle (7) and its tubular neck (5) are exposed, as shown in figure 3.

[020] Thus, the user will direct the mouthpiece (7) to his genital organ, as shown in Figure 4, so that the contact face (8) faces the entire pelvic or genital region. Thanks to its malleability, this contact face (8), shown in detail C, can be pressed and adjusted by the user's hands to perfectly wrap the pelvic region with its absorbent (9), as comfortably and hygienically as shown. the detail D. Thus, when urinating, the collector (C) ensures a perfect seal so that urine (U) does not leak out of the nozzle (7), flowing internally and completely through the tubular neck (5) to the spherical reservoir (4) . This explains the versatility of the product, which can be used with the same ease and comfort for both male and female users, as shown in figure 5, in any standing position, sitting or even lying down.

As shown in the sequence of figure 6, as the urine (U) fills the reservoir (4), it expands gradually to include a significant amount of urine (U), its expansion accompanied by the natural deformation of the urine. packaging (1) by having its inner walls "opening", pressed by the spherical reservoir (4) being filled.

[023] Finally, in cases of non-hospital use or without risk of contamination, the collector (1), thanks to its material, can be cleaned and sanitized for reuse by applying a new adhesive pad (9) to the face. In case of hospital use, with risk of contamination, the product may be sterilized properly to eliminate all contaminants, followed by the application of the absorbent adhesive (9) for reuse of the product.
