Abstract

The present invention relates to a sampler assembly for substances encapsulated by means of a barrier to prevent migration. The assembly comprises at least one sampler intended to be placed in magazines and the like, with samples of solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid substances, such as cosmetics, scents, perfumes and the like, comprising at least one sample of the substance on a backing sheet, the sample being encapsulated peripherally and confined to an area delimited by a barrier line in order to prevent same from migrating out of the sampler. In addition, the sampler assembly comprises a cover sheet that is placed on top of, and affixed to the barrier line, thereby encapsulating the sample when assembled with the backing sheet, such that the peripheral barrier line also serves as a detachable adhesive. The entire inner surface of the cover sheet serves as a protector against the sample and covers same such that, when opened, the sample can be seen and accessed and, when closed or when pressure is applied to the sampler, the peripheral barrier line prevents the substance from leaking out in an unwanted manner or from combining with adjacent samples. The aim and purpose of the sampler is for it to be placed in magazines and the like, with samples of solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid substances such as cosmetics, scents, fragrances and the like, comprising at least one sample of the substance.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims at an assembly of encapsulated substance testers by means of a perimeter barrier between sheets to prevent migration. This assembly comprises at least one tester for arrangement in magazines and equivalents with samples of solid, semi-solid and liquid substances such as cosmetics, flavors and the like comprising at least one sample of the substance between a support sheet and a cover sheet , where the sample is encapsulated perimeter and is limited within the area delineated by a barrier line to prevent its migration from outside the tester. This ensures that the sample substance does not exceed the tester to another adjacent tester or undesirably leaks out, contaminated the magazine, catalog or any printed material that comes with it.

The need for the present invention lies in solving the opening system, duration of the substance to be exhibited, form of exhibition and obtaining access to its interior on multiple occasions without loss of the substance during the time of exhibition. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an assembly for testers with a solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid encapsulation mechanism for the cosmetic industry.

Another object of the present invention is to maintain an adhesion of self-adhesive sealing without aromas, without contaminants, with a high level of quality for a longer duration in the market and that does not affect the product to be encapsulated.

Another no less important object of the present invention is to provide an easy-to-use product in any advertising promotion and incentive medium, concentrated in its encapsulated and transparent substance because it does not contain any transformation to the final product, as well as the ease of adapting and flexibility for the user in shapes and sizes.

The present invention meets these needs and provides other related advantages.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to an assembly of encapsulated substance testers by means of a perimeter barrier between sheets to prevent migration.

Particularly, it refers to a tester assembly comprising a cover sheet with a sheet superimposed on the support sheet and additionally includes an opening flap where said overlay cover sheet is adhered to the line of barrier and consequently encapsulates the sample in assembly with the support sheet, so that the perimeter barrier line also fulfills the function of adhesive detached. In order to keep the cover sheet on the support sheet, an end opposite the opening flap comprises a fixed bond adhesive between sheets forming an opening hinge to ensure that the cover sheet does not move relative to the support sheet and therefore the barrier line maintain its position and its effectiveness.

The present invention is applicable to individual or group testers to evidence or advertise cosmetic products and fragrances in magazines, catalog sales, exhibitors and the like, which include the manipulation by the buyer.

It can also be applicable to the chemical industry of packaged products that includes medical supplies, industrial oils, cleaners, lotions, creams and disinfectants among many others.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Catalog sales and advertising in cosmetic magazines such as lipsticks and makeup in general, are published at least monthly. Within these catalogs the use of testers is common for the user to interact with the product before their choice. Each catalog or magazine, commonly passes from hand to hand on multiple occasions, where testers by use, lose cover sheets, where the contained product dries; and, the product migrates to the sides outside the tester thanks to the pressure on the magazine or the sheets and due to the heat. The use of perfume testers is a widely used commercial tool. Among the commercial forms collected throughout history, are commercial cards scented with rice powders called "Veloutine" or "Ausonia" and the "Amok" leaflet of the house "Bourjois".

A comparison can also be made between scented cards from the first decades of the 20th century, with perfumes such as “Bolero” or “Soir” from Paris and those currently printed as “Cachare I”, by Adolfo Domínguez or “Loewe”. The 1910 scented card referred to a strip of special paper or "mouillette parfum" impregnated with a scent and used to make the fragrance known to the public. With the arrival of waterproof materials, these testers were isolated to prevent the perfume from evaporating during the exhibition and advertising process which must be adhered around it by an adhesive suitable for it.

In said order of ideas, a "mouillette parfum" of the technique comprises: a support; a waterproof cover; adhesive; and, perfume or cosmetic.

The testers can comprise solid, semi-solid, liquid or semi-liquid substances with varying viscosity grade, such as fragrances, lipstick cosmetics, blush, base and cosmetic powders, eyeshadow shadows and various types of makeup among many others, cleaning substances , aromatic substances and in general all kinds of exhibition substance through catalog or magazines.

As is known, in the display of substances in testers, the substance eventually migrates laterally leaving from the tester, thanks to the continuous manipulation of the buyers day after day.

Some testers include diaphragms or adhesive or adhesive plastic sheets that seal the contained product and to access it and must or should come off. Once detached, the user must be expected to cover it again, but this is not guaranteed, so many times the cover is lost and the product evaporates or becomes contaminated.

An example of this is disclosed in US Pat. No. 6,006,916 to Emmanuel et al, which defines a package of cosmetic samples comprising a suspension of cosmetics and solvent that is printed on a layer of transparent or translucent film. The overlay film includes opaque portions printed on the negative image of the desired design on the surface opposite to that of the cosmetic, so as to form a viewing window to view the cosmetic sample. A perimeter adhesive can be printed on the superimposed layer of the film around the sample and a protective reinforcement is sealed to the film. The entire surface of the protective backing facing the cosmetic sample is covered with a textured layer of flocked fabric fibers so that the backing can be used as an applicator for the cosmetic sample. In particular, it defines a unit dose cosmetic sample comprising a cover film; a unit dose of cosmetic preparation printed in a pattern on said cover film, said cosmetic preparation containing a cosmetic product; and a protective backing sealed to said cover film, wherein the protective backing comprises an applicator material provided on a surface of a backing substrate, the protective backing being sealed to the film with the applicator material facing the cosmetic preparation. The technical solution is effective to the extent that it proposes a way to present and expose the product to be displayed in the sample, but this development has not defined a perimeter barrier line to prevent the sample from moving outside the tester and in turn position the cover sheet anticipating his loss.

Therefore, a substance tester is necessary, which ensures that the sample substance does not exceed the tester to another adjacent tester or undesirably exits, contaminated the magazine or catalog that entails it and keeps the product for longer to exhibit. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This assembly comprises at least one tester for arrangement in magazines and the like with samples of solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid substances such as cosmetics, perfumes, aromas and the like comprising at least one sample of the substance on a support sheet where The sample is encapsulated perimeter and is limited within the area delineated by a barrier line to prevent its migration from outside the tester.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.

Particularly, based on Figures 1 and 2, the assembly 1 of the invention comprises a tester of a first substance 2 as illustrated in Figure 1 or for a sample of a first substance 2 and a second substance 3 according to Figure 2, for arrangement in magazines and the like with samples of solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid substances such as cosmetics, aromas, fragrances and the like comprising at least one sample of the substance.

Said assembly 1 according to figures 3 and 4, comprises a support sheet 4 where the product sample 2 is encapsulated perimetrically and is limited within the area delineated by a barrier line 5 to prevent its migration from outside the tester assembly 1. Said internal delineated zone is limited laterally by the barrier lines and within said zone the product or substance to be displayed is arranged 2.

Additionally, the tester assembly 1 comprises a cover sheet 6 comprising an overlapping sheet that follows the shape of the support sheet 4. Preferably but not limitation, said cover sheet 6 is made of transparent or translucent material and includes additionally in preferred embodiments an opening flap 7 that extends from the cover sheet 6.

On the other hand, said cover sheet 6 is superimposed on the support sheet 4 and is adhered perimetrically by the barrier line 5 comprising first adhesive. Said barrier line 5 comprising a layer of the first adhesive of thickness between 20 and 30 microns.

Said the barrier line 5 comprising the first adhesive is arranged perimetrically following the edge of the support sheet as illustrated in Figure 2 and in preferred embodiments the barrier line 5 comprising the first adhesive is defined followed by an area free 8 of perimeter flange according to figure 1.

As illustrated in the figures, the barrier line 5 and the cover sheets 6 and support sheets 4 consequently encapsulate the sample 2 in assembly, so that the perimeter barrier line 5 also fulfills the function of removable adhesive.

In order to keep the cover sheet 6 on the support sheet 4, an end opposite to the opening flap 7 comprises a fixed fastening point 9 based on joining between cover sheets 6 and support 4 by means of a layer of second adhesive of thickness between 20 and 30 microns forming a hinge to ensure that the cover sheet 6 does not move relative to the support sheet 4 and therefore the barrier line 5 maintains its position and its effectiveness.

In preferred embodiments, the support sheet 4 is fixed to the magazine by said second adhesive. Preferably said support sheet 4 opposite the cover sheet 6, comprises the third adhesive for fastening on the advertising support such as a magazine or catalog.

For its part, the first adhesive comprises a high tactility and cohesion adhesion so that the cover sheet 6 can be removed as many times as necessary and reattached. In preferred embodiments the first adhesive is composed of self-adhesive in the form of an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 and with a viscosity between 6,000 cps to 9,000 cps in combination with Polyvinyl Acetate which includes a mixture of acrylic resins, so that additionally seal and form barrier of the encapsulated substance and at the same time secure the cover sheet and the substance, its tone, texture, brightness, color, fixation, transparency and / or aroma can be lifted and known.

According to the present invention, the encapsulated substance can comprise a solid, semi-solid, creamy and liquid substance can be encapsulated in up to two or more substances for each tester depending on the configuration allowing said label to have greater customer perception and can have two more products at the same time. According to the invention, the assembly 1 may comprise within it, two substances according to Figure 2. In other embodiments it may comprise more than two substances as illustrated in Figure 3 and different shapes and configurations.

The assembly of the invention, thanks to the fact that the barrier line is not only arranged perimeter, but that surrounds and separates the substances, also offers a support for the cover layer 6. Thus, a variety of shapes such as the one illustrated in figure 6 which comprises an elongated assembly and thanks to the interposition of barrier lines, each substance is isolated from the following and from the environment and can vary in its forms according to customer needs, keeping the encapsulated substances allowing it to remain in your shape and do not slip or wasted. Some of the substances to be encapsulated may comprise solid substances such as a cosmetic powder. In particular, it comprises between 25 and 30% cosmetic powder; between 8 and 12% glycerin; between 10 and 15% hydrogenated PEG40, (resin oil); between 25 and 30% cetyl alcohol; between 5 and 10% triethanolamine stearate, (PH stabilizer); and between 10 and 15% liquid paraffin, (texture). Thus, the preparation process includes macerating the mixture of products in a container to be desalted so that the powder is more dense and creamy, it must be sealed in a container to maintain its creaminess and avoid drying faster and keep at room temperature between 15 ° and 25 °. Once prepared, its consistency and viscosity will be verified to be treated to deposit between the barrier lines.

The cover sheets 6 can be selected from materials such as polypropylene 30 to 40 microns thick, transparent or translucent material, with surface shapes or patterns.

For its part, the barrier line must be formed from a layer of thickness between 20 and 30 microns, applied forming the encapsulation shape: round, square, rectangular, specific shapes such as hearts, cosmetic shapes, product shapes the food line, etc.

The first adhesive comprises a milky (self-adhesive) adhesive in the form of an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer with a pH between 4.5 to 5.5, with a viscosity of 6,000 cps - 9,000 cps, with high tactity adhesion and cohesion in combination with polyvinyl acetate with a mixture of acrylic resins to give consistency to the barrier line 5. The second adhesive comprises a modified PVA (polyvinyl acetate) adhesive with a mixture of acrylic resins, with pH 5.0 and with viscosity 4,000 cps at 6,000 cps (Brookfield Needle Viscometer 4/20 rpm, 17 ° C) that fulfills the functionality of permanently sealing the cover sheet 6 on the support sheet 4.

The support sheet 4 comprises a transparent acrylic sheet or of metallic material with thicknesses of 50 to 56 microns.

Once the barrier line 5 comprising the first adhesive is applied on the support sheet 4, the substance 2 is applied, within the barrier line and subsequently the fixed fixing point 9 and the subsequent connection between cover sheets are arranged 6 and support 4, keeping the substance encapsulated to have its texture, color, hue and fixation.

The process then comprises macerating the mixture of the products in a container to dissolve, mix and verify their viscosity, in a mixing process at an ambient temperature between 15 ° and 20 °.

For the preparation of creamy substances of liquid base, preferably between 50 and 60% of cream material of liquid base is provided; 30 and 40% corn starch; 1 to 5% cetyl alcohol, Se mix the product and proceed to macerate in a container to desleir and turn into dense material, maintaining its creaminess and viscosity, avoid drying faster and keep at room temperature between 15 ° and 20 °.

The present invention thus solves the problems of the prior art, avoiding the detachment of the cover sheet, increasing the durability of the substance contained, improving encapsulation, preventing migration, maintaining the sensitive, visual and olfactory product which is aimed at a market that guarantees that the user knows the product, decreasing the probability of differences between their order and their need before use, because once the consumption is uncovered or started there are no returns and it generates dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction with the product .

With the encapsulation system the end user guarantees that he knows the different variables of his choice in the purchase, cosmetological variables such as colors in their tone quality, fixation, brightness, textures, transparency, duration and use, which promotes a market of Fixed purchase and customer satisfaction, in addition to using it as a tester of product indemnity. Additionally, the assembly according to the present invention is suitable for developing various cutting and punching configurations.

It is important to highlight that the expectation of the solid, semi-solid, creamy or liquid material is clearly observed through the transparent cover sheet that will be visible the color, hue and brightness of the substance contained, with the purpose that the consumer knows with in advance the texture and its visual configuration and when uncovering it can perceive its aroma, so that during the time it is maintained with this objective and the product does not migrate and thanks to its barrier it is preserved for longer.

Only some preferred embodiments of the invention have been illustrated by way of example. In this regard, it will be appreciated that the construction of the tester assembly with barrier lines, as well as the configurative arrangements can be chosen from a plurality of alternatives without departing from the spirit of the invention according to the following claims.

Claims

1. Substance tester assembly comprising a cover sheet (6) superimposed on a support sheet (4), where the assembly is characterized in that:

3. Tester assembly according to claim 2 characterized in that the support sheet (4) comprises a perimeter barrier line (5) that follows its entire flange.

Tester assembly according to claim 7, characterized in that one of the substance (2) to be encapsulated comprises a combination of a creamy substance with a liquid base, between 50 and 60% of cream material with a liquid base; 30 and 40% corn starch; 1 to 5% cetyl alcohol; or, a combination of a liquid substance to be encapsulated comprising 99 and 99.5% of the liquid substance to be exhibited in liquid and / or oily material; and, between 0.5 and 1% dimethicone Copoliol.
