La présente invention concerne l'utilisation cosmétique d'au moins un hydrolate de sarriette citronnée, plus particulièrement de Satureja montana L. ssp. citriodora, ou d'une composition cosmétique comprenant ledit hydrolate, pour améliorer la fonction de barrière de la peau. .
