La présente invention concerne un couteau de grand sac, comprenant une partie arrière et une partie avant, comprenant chacune une extrémité arrière et une extrémité avant et possédant chacune une certaine longueur, la partie arrière s'étendant autour d'au moins une partie de la longueur de la partie avant, une lame disposée au niveau de l'extrémité avant de la partie avant, et un mécanisme coulissant qui fixe la partie avant à la partie arrière d'une manière coulissante, et qui permet à la partie avant de coulisser par rapport à la partie arrière, entre une position rétractée du couteau, dans laquelle la lame est gainée par la partie arrière et est inaccessible à l'utilisateur du couteau, et une position déployée du couteau, dans laquelle la lame est située à l'extérieur de la partie arrière et permet à l'utilisateur de découper le grand sac.
