The apparatus comprises a lower load-bearing block (1) with upward-facing holes (14, 15) for accommodating a rod butt (A) and a rod segment, respectively. Two load-bearing fixed squared hollow shafts (3, 9) are provided in the block (1) and parallel to each other. Upper, mobile shafts (4, 6) are inserted in the hollow shafts (3, 9), and carry an upper load-bearing block (5) of which a lower face has for blind holes (16, 17, 18, 19) for accommodating rod segments. Two locking mechanisms on either hollow shaft (3, 9) lock the shafts in place. At least two molded sliding blocks (7, 8) are slidably mounted on a right mobile shaft (6) and accommodate shorter rod segments. The apparatus can be inserted in a transparent plastic cover in order to store and explose during sale.

Description

DESCRIPTION of the invention titled:
AID FOR SPORTS FISCHERMAN
Field of the invention
The present invention is meant for technical field regarding sport and leisure fishing. In particular it refers to an innovative tool that permits any rod holder to contain two, three, four or more disassembled segments, supplied with a reel, line inserted into the guides holes where at the end there is a snap hook or sinker or in-line bait/attractant dispenser with relative terminal equipped with a hook, allowing the user to shorten rod assembly time and begin fishing. Further, it could be used as a rod holder to display rods for sale.
Brief acknowledgements for the noted technicalities
As far as I know, up to today, fishing rods for bottom fishing (feeder, method, surf casting, etc.) are characterized by the fact that they are composed of two, three, four or more segments which fit into each other. They are kept in a cloth container which came with the rod upon acquisition are either disassembled with no reel, line, sinker or in-line bait/attractant dispenser, or end with a hook, or they are disassembled but have the reel, line and sinker and end, the segments united by an elastic band inside the rod holder together with other similar tools. This leads to time consuming assembly and disassembly of the rod as in the first example, while in the second case the rod holding bag tends to contain the fishing tools in a chaotic manner which are frequently subject to tangles among the various lines and or unwanted hooks that are thrown around from where they were fixed, and get lost in the most remote areas of the bag, creating problems for the fisherman. Today there is no accessory on the market that addresses this problem which all fishermen have come across while carrying out their beloved sport. Summary of the Invention
It is therefore the aim of the following invention to supply a tool that allows the user to store the disassembled rod, but containing the reel and frame with line, sinker and hook, in a rational and secure way inside the rod holding bag.
The fundamental aim of the following invention is to shorten rod assembly and disassembly time.
It is also an aim of the following invention to allow the fisherman to prepare and organize a fishing plan with more rods equipped in diverse ways to variate fishing strategies even before departure for the fishing site itself.
It is a further aim of the following invention to allow the fisherman to easily recognize the kind of rod needed.
Another aim of the following invention is to allow visual displays of fishing rods in more segments, even while stored inside the packaging of the producer, and consequently the invention itself.
Finally, an aim of the following invention is to obtain the above-mentioned objectives with a simple tool which has modest costs of construction.
These and other aims are therefore reached with the present invention composed of the following constructive elements: A lower load-bearing block (1) with two non-through holes (14) and (15) which act as inferior seats, the first (14) for rod butt (A) (indispensable instrument for fishing, to insert into the tool and obviously not part of the invention) and the second (15) of the second segment of the rod. From said lower load-bearing block (1) two hollow square shafts (3) and (9), raise laterally together based on the central axis and their parallel, the first from the left side and the second from the right side of the bottom load-bearing block. Inside said hollow square shafts are inserted, respectively, smaller square shaft (4) in the left side mobile square shaft and smaller square shaft (6) of the same dimensions in the right-side mobile shaft. These are stably fixed to upper load-bearing block (5), exact in external dimensions to lower load-bearing block (1). The two above-mentioned shafts (4) and (6) are free to slide inside shafts (3) and (9), respectively, and blocked into a desired position by a simple locking and unlocking mechanism composed of reinforcement (13) located on the upper extreme of fixed load-bearing shafts (3) and (9), containing a centrally located, threaded through-hole (12) which reaches the inside of the hollow shaft; In said hole (12) threaded knob (11) is screwed in which produces pressure on the surface of the internal sliding shaft and locks it into the desired position, and by unscrewing it frees the shaft to move freely again. On the inferior face of the upper load-bearing block (5) are four non-through holes where the segments of the rod (A) are held, respecting the following sequence: seat of the first segment (16), seat of the second segment (17), seat of the third segment (18), seat of the fourth segment (19). All non-through holes, both on the upper load-bearing block as well as on the lower load-bearing block which hold the extremities of rod (A) and contain high-density foam padding (31) to avoid any abrasion to the rod. On telescopic shaft (6) are inserted two molded sliding blocks (7) and (8), both having a ridge near their right side which allows them to freely slide on the telescopic shaft. These, further, have non-through holes (23) and (24) on the right side. Non-through hole (23), located in molded mobile block (7), is the seat for the bottom part of the fourth rod (A) segment, while non-through hole (24), located on molded sliding block (8), is the seat for the bottom part of the third segment of rod (A). In the bottom of said non-through holes, as well as those located in the load-bearing blocks, is high-density foam padding (31) to protect the extremities of the rod segments. Both molded sliding blocks (7) and (8) are equipped with a simple locking and unlocking mechanism constituted of a horizontal through hole, which from the lateral face of the block has reinforcement (20) and reaches the corridor where squared shaft (6) slides, in said hole are located two threaded bushings (21) and (22). Two screw knobs (10) of equal size and shape for both block (7) and block (8), lock and unlock the molded sliding blocks to hollow square shaft (6) in the user's desired position.
The tool thus designed allows for rods of various sizes to be securely attached to the inside in two, three or four disassembled segments, but equipped with reel, line, sinker and/or in-line bait/attractant dispenser and end with relative hook, the hook having a place to securely hook onto either on one of the various guides of the rod or on the designated hook fastener which is usually present on rods of recent construction. Therefore, the rods can have different technical and mechanical characteristics and details specific for any kind of fishing. The invention, if made in different colors, for example in green, red, yellow, blue, etc. it can also be a tool for the fisherman since the user can assign a specific color to each fishing rod with its' mounted bait and tackle specific for any fishing strategy. Further, the invention is of a parallelepiped form and therefore easy to fold, a series of these aids can easily be put into a bag, minimizing clutter and increasing the advantages obtained from the invention. As highlighted in Figures 7a and 7b one can see bag with zipper (25) and relative adjustable strap (30) for shoulder transportation, and four stacked apparatuses (26), (27), (28) and (29) showing a cross section near the right or left side of the bag and its contents.
Further, the invention can be equipped with an organizing case (32) made in transparent plastic which completely covers the whole tool, and due to the parallelepiped shape without smaller bases it can also be used as innovative packaging for new fishing rods for sale. This, too, results as innovative and advantageous since the potential buyer can see the rod even though it is enclosed in its packaging. Thus, the above is notably different from the actual technical state relative to the packing of fishing rods composed of multiple segments to be assembled, because they are inserted inside sheaths containing compartments made in fabric, rolled up and tied. This, clearly, does not permit one to immediately see the fishing rod.
Brief Description of the Designs
An example of the invention, shown in the drawing figures described below and to be considered not binding insofar as they can be modified and improved by experts in the sector but without altering the general principals and function. It could be articulated, for example, that the creation of a tool dedicated to a fishing rod composed of four segments, but with the second segment shorter than the first brings about the necessity to equip the invention with three mobile molded blocks instead of two, as if it were made for a five segmented rod or a rod of only two segments of the same length, in such a way as to avoid equipping the tool with molded blocks (7) and (8).

Detailed description of realizable form and its use
Every fisherman, whether for leisure or competitively, must prepare all the equipment in the way he or she sees best before fishing, consuming time once arrived at the fishing location; and, likewise must put all away once the activity has concluded. The invention shortens preparation and set-up time, to rationalize the technical and strategic organization for fishing, and, finally protects the fishing rods in an efficient way during transport. Imagine Mr. Tizio wants to go fishing tomorrow, and this evening he dedicates his time to prepare four four-segmented pack rods which have technical and mechanical differences among them, and therefore differences with reels, line, sinkers and bait/attractant dispenser, as well as differing ends with hooks. Once the rods are prepared, Mr. Tizio used the apparatus to place them, one at a time, inside each aid of a different color, knowing that the one placed in the green slot has the most resistant rod and with heavier equipment for the feeder, in the red one is the lighter rod with lighter equipment for the feeder, while in the yellow one is the robust rod but equipped for Method and lastly the most delicate rod equipped for Method fishing. A valid example for the placement of all the rods, inside the aids, Mr. Tizio announces to his friend Ciao:
"I'll take the green apparatus, loosen the two locking and unlocking mechanisms on telescopic shafts (4) and (6) from fixed shafts (3) and (9), composed of thickness reinforcement (13) which has threaded through-hole (12) into which screw knob (11) is screwed into, which in this case is obviously unscrewed. This done, I position in a parallel way and near the four upper seats made for them (16), (17), (18), and (19) of upper load-bearing block (5) the upper sides of the four segments rod (A) which from the left are the first segment, the second segment, the third segment, and the fourth segment. I insert them one at a time inside their respective holes until they touch high- density foam (31) located at the bottom of each seat. At this point I do the same thing with the with the bottom part of the first two segments of the rod, but this time moving lower load-bearing block (1) towards the two previously- mentioned segments of the rod, and using my hand to raise them up and place them perfectly in axis respect to their seats which are: non-through hole (14), large, ideal for the size of the rod butt, and non-through hole (15) of a smaller diameter. I make sure both segments of the rod are resting on high-density foam (31), glued to the bottom of the seats, and then I use two knobs (11) of the locking mechanism of the telescopic shafts to the fixed shafts, screwing them into the position desired. Having done this I loosen locking and unlocking knobs (10) of two molded sliding blocks (7) and (8), I slide telescopic rod (6) which is not well attached, molded sliding block (8) slightly lower from where the bottom of the third segment is located, which at this point I slightly raise and place it with one hand into its bottom seat (24), then I slide molded sliding block (8) until the tip isn't perfectly locked in, and then I screw knob (24) into threaded hole (22) of the previously-mentioned locking mechanism which is also equipped with thickness reinforcement (20). Working in the same way I position the bottom end of the fourth segment of the rod near seat (23) which is intended for it, in molded sliding block (7) which also has thickness reinforcement (20), securing this last segment of the rod. To finish, I secure the hook to the metal ring located in the handle of the rod, and slightly turning the reel I tighten up the line in order to keep the hook in place. I do the same for all three other rods. Doing such I find four packed apparatuses, which I then in turn put into bag (25), obtaining the stack of aids that, starting from the top, are green (26), red (27), yellow (28) and blue (29). Early tomorrow morning I will leave, putting the bag on my shoulder by way of adjustable strap (30) and I go fishing. Once I reach my destination, depending on characteristics of the area, water and weather conditions I decide which rod to use for fishing. This way I only have to take out, for example, the red one, and unscrewing two knobs (11) I unlock two telescopic shafts (4) and (6), after which, holding on to bottom load-bearing block (1) slightly shift it in the opposite direction compared to the position of upper load-bearing block (5) to free the rod from the container. At this point I free the hook, give some slack on the line from the reel and I assemble the various segments of the rod readying it for action.
