Abstract
In practice, the present invention relates to systems for supplying energy in a rotatable drum in laundry washers and/or dryers. More clearly, according to the invention a linear dynamo (5) structure is suggested to be configured on a laundry treatment machine having a body (1) and a drum (2) rotating in said body (1 ).
Description
The present invention relates to supplying energy to the interior of a rotatable drum in laundry washers and/or dryers.
Currently, systems generating energy through a rotatable drum in laundry washers and dryers, are known for practical use.
In laundry washers and dryers, washing or drying is performed by placing laundry items in a rotatable drum. Depending on user needs and market demands, applications are required which can be placed in said rotatable drums and which can create a difference (drum interior illumination, sensors, etc.). Since some of these applications operate with energy, they require to be supplied with energy inside the drum.
Transmitting energy from a fixed part to a rotatable part is not generally preferred since it is provided by frictional components. Therefore, creating such an energy source directly on the rotatable drum is preferred.
Addressing the above explained circumstance, the necessity of an energy source in a rotatable drum in laundry washers and dryers is identified as a problem. Lacking an energy source in a drum restricts realization of applications which would create a difference.
A patent publication of technical interest which may be referred to is CN1521355. Said patent publication relates to supplying the energy required for a rotatable drum by a power generator. An intermediate member connected to the shaft of the power generator, begins rotating and enables rotating the drum.
Another patent publication of technical interest which may be referred to is US 2014355247. Said patent publication relates to an illumination apparatus connected to a drum for illumination of the interior of the drum, and to using an electromagnetic device for supplying said apparatus.
Another patent publication of technical interest which may be referred to is FR 2685575. Said patent publication relates to a structure rotating in a stator by means of a drum's movements and gravity thanks to a weight coupled to a rotor provided in a dynamo.
Whereas, the ideas and applications of transmitting energy into a drum, transmitting electricity into a drum using an electromagnetic device, rotating structures, mentioned in the above referred documents differ from the present invention.
In the system proposed according to the present invention, energy can be transmitted to various applications by generating energy directly in a drum.
The main aim of the present invention relates to realization of energy requiring applications in a rotatable drum.
Another aim of the present invention is to enable forming an energy source on rotatable drums of laundry washers and dryers.
A further aim of the present invention is, in addition to directly using said generated electricity in energy requiring applications, to use the electricity to supply a battery storing electricity and using energy from said battery.
A product realized to achieve the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, and brief descriptions of these drawings are provided below.
In interpreting the protection scope of the invention, the technical drawings appended to the present specification shall not be used singly without consulting the specification. On the other hand, the appended technical drawings should be used not to determine and delimit but to interpret the protection scope of the present invention described in the claims.
Unless otherwise specified, the appended figures do not designate the absolute dimensions of the invention and the proportions of mutual parts do not exactly reflect the original product.
Figure 1 is a general view of the washing machine or the dryer provided according to the present invention.
Figure 2 is a view of the A-A section of Figure 1 provided according to the present invention.
Figure 3 is a detailed view of the regions B and C of Figure 2, according to the present invention.
The parts displayed in the figures incorporated to the specification for a better understanding of the invention, are individually numbered, and the description of each numbered part is given below.

The subject of the invention comprises developing a power source on a drum (2) in washing machines. Said washing machines include laundry washers and/or dryers.
Figure 1 shows a stationary body (1) and a rotatable drum (2) in which laundry items can be placed in a washing machine.
Figure 2 shows placement of at least one linear dynamo (5) on any point of the rotatable drum (2).
Figure 3 displays the linear dynamo (5) in which potential difference is generated between two ends of a coil (3) by means of a magnet (4) moving vertically in said coil (3) or the coil (3) moving vertically in said magnet (4). Electric energy is generated as a result of the movable component provided in the linear dynamo (5), translating in each 180 degrees rotation of the drum (2), creating an energy source on the drum (2).
Said electric energy may be used directly in energy requiring applications, as well as for feeding a battery storing electricity and using the battery as an energy source.
Energy requiring applications can be conveniently realized in a drum thanks to the energy source created in a rotatable drum (2).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized by being a washing machine comprising a body (1) and a drum (2) rotating in said body (1).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said washing machine comprises a linear dynamo (5) placed on said rotatable drum (2).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said linear dynamo (5) comprises a coil (3).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said linear dynamo (5) comprises a magnet (4).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said washing machine comprises said coil (3), enabling generating a potential difference by relatively translating with respect to said magnet (4) placed on said rotatable drum (2).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said washing machine comprises said magnet (4) enabling generating a potential difference by moving vertically inside one another with said coil (3).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said coil (3) moves vertically in the magnet (4) or said magnet (4) moves vertically in said coil (3).
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized in that said washing machine comprises a battery storing the electricity generated by said linear dynamo (5) and enabling using the stored energy.
According to another embodiment, the invention is characterized by the washing machine being a washer and/or a dryer.
As a result, the main advantage provided by the present invention lies in conveniently providing energy efficiency and energy transmission in washing machines by using a linear dynamo in a rotatable drum.
Claims (8)
- A washing machine comprising a body (1) and a rotatable drum (2) provided in said body (1), characterized in that said washing machine further comprisesa linear dynamo (5) placed on the rotatable drum (2).
- A washing machine according to claim 1, characterized in that, the linear dynamo (5) comprises a coil (3).
- A washing machine according to claim 1, characterized in that, the linear dynamo (5) comprises a magnet (4).
- A washing machine according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that, it further comprises the coil (3), enabling generating a potential difference by relatively translating with respect to the magnet (4) placed on the rotatable drum (2).
- A washing machine according to claim 4, characterized in that, it further comprises the magnet (3) enabling generating a potential difference by moving vertically inside one another with the coil (4).
- A washing machine according to claim 5, characterized in that, the coil (4) moves vertically in the magnet (3) or the magnet (3) moves vertically in the coil (4).
- A washing machine according to claim 1, characterized in that, it further comprises a battery storing the electricity generated by the linear dynamo (5) and enabling using the stored energy.
- A washing machine according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, the washing machine is a washer and/or a dryer.
