Le modèle d'utilité concerne le domaine des équipements d'éclairage et notamment des luminaires à diodes électroluminescentes utilisables dans le ménage, les locaux de bureaux ou de production. Le résultat technique consiste à améliorer les propriétés fonctionnelles et élargir les fonctionnalités des luminaires de plafond à diodes lumineuses constitués d'une carcasse sur laquelle sont fixées des plaques avec diodes électroluminescentes, un plafonnier inséré dans la carcasse et constituée de couches de matériau réfléchissant ou transparent à la lumière, et une unité d'alimentation électrique avec des dispositifs de commande branchée sur les diodes électroluminescentes ; on propose à cet effet ce qui suit : - au centre du plafonnier on peut pratiquer un orifice dans lequel est inséré le mandrin porteur central sur lequel est fixée la base (le couvercle) et la carcasse ; - on intègre au plafonnier, à part les couches de matériau transparent à la lumière ou réfléchissant la lumière, une couche de matériau diffusant la lumière disposée sous la couche de matériau transparent à la lumière ; - fixer le plafonner dans la carcasse de telle sorte que les diodes électroluminescentes émettent la lumière vers l'extrémité de la couche transparente à la lumière ; - la carcasse du luminaire doit être fabriquée de telle sorte qu'un canal de refroidissement par convection existe entre la base et le matériau réfléchissant.
