Description

COMPOSITE SLIDING WALL
The present invention refers to a composite sliding wall.
In general, the present invention refers to composite structures of frames for doors and/or windows which follow or overlap one another, closures or openings for doors and/or windows actuated by gravity, for example through counterweights, supporting devices for doors and/or windows which slide more or less on their own plane and composed of two or more independent parts, each one moving in its own guides.
The prior art is given by patent KR 20-0471142 Yl dealing with a door sliding on an inclinde rail to allow the automatic closure.
The invention of patent KR 20-0471142 Yl exploits the gravity for the automatic closure of a door or of a window thhrough a chute for the sliding guides. KR 20-0471142 Yl offers the starting point for making a door sliding on an slanting rail to allow the automatic closure of a window or of a door whose shape is not rectangular or squared.
Object of the present invention is solving the above prior art problems by providing a composite sliding wall which is capable of performing the automatic closure of a window or of a door with a trapezoidal shape.
A further object is providing a composite sliding wall actuated by a motor along one direction and by gravity along the opposite direction.
A further object is making a composite sliding wall capable of be adapted to a category like curtains, grids, shutters, window frames, greenhouse gates, arbors.
The above and other objects and advantages of the invention, as will appear from the following description, are obtained with a composite sliding wall as claimed in claim 1. Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variations of the present invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims. It is intended that all enclosed claims are an integral part of the present description.
It will be immediately obvious that numerous variations and modifications (for example related to shape, sizes, arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) could be made to what is described, without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the enclosed claims.
The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments thereof, provided as a non-limiting example, with reference to the enclosed drawings, in which:
Figure 1 shows a front view of an embodiment of the composite sliding wall according to the present invention;
Figure 2 shows a partila sectional view along line II-II of the previous figure;
Figure 3 shows an enlarged portion III of Figure 1 ;
Figure 4 shows a partial sectional view along line IV-IV of Figure 1; and
Figure 5 shows a partial sectional view al long line V-V of Figure 1. With reference to Figure 1, it is possible to note that a composite sliding wall comprises at least one horizontal frame 1 sliding along horizontal guides 10 and an oblique frame 2 sliding along slanting guides 20.
Advantageously, the composite sliding wall comprises motion transmission means 12 to allow mutually moving the oblique frame 2 and the horizontal frame 1.
With reference to Figure 2, the motion transmission means 12 are composed of at least one grooved guide 1201 interacting with at least one sliding element 1202.
According to a preferred configuration, such at least one sliding element 1202 is equipped with idle pulleys.
Alternatively, such at least one sliding element 1202 is equipped with creeping shoes.
With reference to Figure 3, a motored device, not shown, is connected through a towing cable 3 to the oblique frame 2 to allow moving the composite sliding wall. Alternatively, the motored device can be connected through a towing cable to the horizontal frame 1 to allow moving the composite sliding wall.
According to a preferred configuration, the motion transmission means 12 are arranged along a vertical direction to allow the oblique frame 2 to vertically move with respect to the horizontal frame 1.
With reference to Figures 3, 4, the slanting guides 20 are composed of at least one slanting grooved guide 41 interacting with at least one slanting sliding element 42.
With reference to Figure 5, the horizontal guides 10 are composed of at least one horizontal grooved guide 51 interacting with at least one horizontal sliding element 52.
A composite sliding wall comprising the horizontal frame 1 and the oblique frame 2 can be used to make curtains, grids, shutters, window frames, greenhouse gates, arbors.
The composite sliding wall of the present invention allows reaching the stated objects.
In particular, the horizontal frame is composed of a shutter which slides with respect to the oblique frame composed of an upper shutter, through the motion transmission means composed of grooved guides interacting with the sliding elements .
Preferably, the sliding elements are pulleys having their rotation axis fastened to the horizontal frame, while the grooved guides are obtained along the vertical profile of the oblique frame .
The motion transmission means are composed of at least one grooved guide interacting with at least one sliding element, Figure 2. In particular, the slanting grooved guide is formed of profiles with a U-shaped section to avoid the derailment of the slanting sliding element. Moreover, there are spacer elements to allow assembling the same shutter, which operates correctlx for both horizontal and slanting frames.
An upper towing system comprises the motored device connected through the towing cable to the oblique frame using a fastening point next to a sliding element slanting along the slanting grooved guide , Figure 3.
The motored device is of the type composed of a motor reducer having a projecting shaft equipped with rotor to allow winding the towing cable. Possibly, a cable-guiding element is used to avoid the uncontrolled overlapping of the towing cable wound on the rotor.
The motor reducer is connected to an electronic card to be controlled through remote control or to be inserted into a global domotic control system.
