Abstract

System with a robot on a wire, method of its operation, operation site with such system, and use thereof A system is provided comprising a robot (8) on a wire, especially for cleaning or re- pairing a wind turbine blade. The robot (8) comprises a tool for inspecting and work- ing the surface of the turbine blade. Electricity or fluids for the operation of the robot are provided from a base station (11) through a cable or fluid tube (12A), which ex- tends over a pulley (43) above the robot (8) in order for the cable or fluid tube ap- proaching the robot (8) from above.
