Description

TITLE
A SYSTEM TO GENERATE ELECTRICITY BY USING GRAVIATATIONAL
FORCE
FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force.
BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
Electric energy is known to have been available being obtained from source of energy namely, nuclear, coal, wind, water and sun. The same can be discussed hereinbelow:-
Nuclear energy is not safe because of various disadvantages associated with the same including nuclear radiation accidents, requirement of high initial capital cost, deadly impact of nuclear bomb, nonrenewable energy source, posing national risk by producing more weapons than the things that can make the world a better place to live in.
Coal contains the most C02, which is the largest contributor to global warming. Further, air pollution from coal fired power plants includes sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, particulate matter, heavy metals leading to smog, acid rain, toxins in the environment, and numerous respiratory, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular effects.
Wind energy in windy weather is used to rotate the blades of the wind mill for producing rotational energy constituting input for generation of electricity via dynamo to charge battery.
Solar energy in sunny day is employed to obtain electricity by means of Solar panel. Thus, the solar panel converts the solar energy into electrical energy. Hydro power from water fall is implemented to actuate turbine for rotational movement, which is further put to use to obtain electricity with the help of alternator.
Thus, the above is dependent on availability of wind, water and sun, which again relies on weather condition which is not under human control.
Further, coal and raw material for nuclear energy are not available in abundance, hence may not be available for long time. This is also unsafe for human beings.
Hence, none of the aforediscussed source of energy is steady and reliable.
Further, the above needs more investment requiring more space particularly in case of wind mill, solar panel and hydro project. At the same time, it consumes more time for manufacturing thereof.
In view of the above, it is required to devise a system for generation of safe and steady clean electricity with ease irrespective of weather condition.

Another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, which is simple in construction and cost effective.
Still another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, which efficiently functions irrespective of weather.
Yet another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, which is pollution free and noise free. Another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, which requires less space for installation.
Another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, raw materials of which are available with ease.
Yet another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force, which requires hardly any manpower for operation thereof.
Another object of the invention is to provide a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force requiring less time of manufacturing.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE PRESENT INVENTION WITH
REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
The present invention makes a disclosure regarding a technology pertinent to a system to generate safe and steady clean electricity by using gravitational force. Now, reference may be made to figure 1 illustrating one embodiment of the present invention, according to which a main wheel (W) is provided with a plurality of longitudinal members (M) disposed diametrically and radially across the wheel. Said longitudinal members radiate from a concentric wheel (C) placed at the center of the main wheel as shown. The main wheel is mounted with multitude of equal weights along outer circumference thereof and rotates about a shaft (S) passing through its center. The main wheel (W) is connected to a frame (Fi).
Here, the shaft is provided in connection with a pulley (P) at one end for connecting with alternator (A) via gearbox (G), other end of which is optionally connected to a flywheel acting as a reinforcement to the shaft. In this embodiment, for the wheel (W) moving at slow speed the pulley (P) remains in connection with the alternator through step-up gearbox (G) for generation of electricity. The gear box is designed according to the requirement i.e. rpm of the alternator. In accordance with the second embodiment of invention, for the fast moving main wheel (W), the pulley (P) is in direct connection with the alternator (A).
Now, the main wheel will be discussed hereinbelow:-
Referring to fig.2, the wheel (W) is mounted with a plurality of weights (1), in which each weight is placed on a mounting shaft (2) such that the weight is slidable along the mounting shaft by means of a compression spring (2A, fig. 3) therebetween.
In the initial position (I), the weight is in proximity to the outer surface of the wheel when the system is stationary.
Each of the weights is having provision of a lock (3), unlocking part (4) for unlocking the lock, lever (5) and lever operating plate (6) as shown in fig. 3, which can be described hereinunder.
A mounting base rod (7) is fixedly placed on the outer circumferential surface of the main wheel. Said mounting shaft (2) holding the weight (1) is secured to the base rod (7) orthogonally as shown. A lock (3) is provided at a distance from the wheel, which establishes contact with said base rod (7) by means of a pair of connecting members (Not shown). The lock (3) is formed with the help of a longitudinal member (3A) intersecting two longitudinal members (3B and 3C) running parallel to each other as illustrated in figure 3.
The longitudinal member (3 A) is fitted with a bearing (B), which remains in touch with the weight (1). Further, there is a movable unlocking part (4) connected to the frame (Fi). In addition to the above, there is provision of a lever (5) constituting substantially a J- section, wherein two parallel members are connected to each other with the help of an extension spring (6S) and the vertical and horizontal members of said lever directed away from the weight are connected to each other by means of a hinge joint (H).So that the lever can be stretched upon being pulled. The lever is fixed to the mounting base rod (7) at one end thereof. Further, a lever operating plate (6) is secured to the frame (Fi) and positioned at an angle with respect to the frame.
A wire (R) connects weight at one end and lever (5) at other end thereof. The unlocking part (4) includes an anchor (4A) at one end. So that, the same can be employed for pulling down the unlocking part in case the system is required to be stopped.
The weight remains in initial position (I). The wheel starts upon being given electric power by means of self and battery connected between the gearbox and alternator just for starting the operation of said system.
For shifting the weight from initial position to final position, the lock (3) strikes the unlocking part (4) during rotation which leads to tilting of the lock (3) to one side thereby breaking the contact between the bearing (B) and weight (1). This helps the weight to move towards the end of the shaft (2) taking the final position. The initial (I) and final position (F) of the weight can be best seen in the figure 4. In a similar way, all the weights take final position.
According to principle of moment of force i.e. τ= WL, longer the distance between the weight and center of the main wheel, heavier is the load on the center of said main wheel and vice-versa. Thus, due to heavier load acting on the center of said wheel, the wheel continues to rotate by gravitational force unless it is stopped by pulling the anchor (4A). However, each weight takes initial position upon reaching the bottomest point of said main wheel. This is accomplished by pulling the lever by engaging the same with the help of said lever operating plate (6) as shown in the figure 3. So that, it leads to movement of the weight towards the wheel by means of the wire (R) and the spring gaining the initial position. The weight moves up and finally takes final position at the topmost point of the main wheel.
This way the wheel keeps rotating and producing electricity with the help of alternator.
The system of the instant invention can be connected in series, which can be further connected to a step-up gear box and alternator or only alternator for mass production of electricity in large scale.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims :-
