Description
本発明は、変倍光学系、光学装置、および変倍光学系の製造方法に関する。
従来、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応し、動画撮影に適した高速のフォーカシングが可能な変倍光学系が提案されている。例えば、特開2015-064492号公報を参照。しかしながら、従来の変倍光学系は、諸収差の補正が充分ではなかった。

以下、本実施形態に係る変倍光学系、光学装置および変倍光学系の製造方法について説明する。まず、本実施形態に係る変倍光学系を説明する。

本実施形態の変倍光学系の後続レンズ群は、少なくとも2つのレンズ群を有している。なお、本実施形態においてレンズ群とは、空気間隔で分離された、少なくとも1枚のレンズを有する部分をいう。また、本実施形態においてレンズ成分とは、単レンズのこと、または2枚以上のレンズを接合してなる接合レンズのことをいう。
本実施形態の変倍光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍時に、各レンズ群同士の間隔を変化させることによって、変倍時の良好な収差補正を図ることができる。また、後続レンズ群に合焦レンズ群を配置することにより、合焦レンズ群を小型軽量化でき、その結果、高速でのフォーカシングが可能になると共に、変倍光学系および鏡筒の小型化を図ることができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍時に、各レンズ群同士の間隔を変化させることによって、変倍時の良好な収差補正を図ることができる。また、後続レンズ群に合焦レンズ群を配置することにより、合焦レンズ群を小型軽量化でき、その結果、高速でのフォーカシングが可能になると共に、変倍光学系および鏡筒の小型化を図ることができる。
条件式(1)は、広角端状態における合焦レンズ群の横倍率を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(1)を満足することにより、合焦時の合焦レンズ群の移動量を小さくすることができ、変倍光学系の小型化を図ることができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(1)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、合焦時の合焦レンズ群の移動量が大きくなってしまい、変倍光学系の小型化が困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(1)の上限値を0.770にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(1)の上限値を0.750、さらに0.730にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(1)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、感度が高くなり、合焦時の合焦レンズ群の移動量が小さくなるため、フォーカス制御が困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(1)の下限値を0.200にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(1)の下限値を0.300、さらに0.400にすることが好ましい。
条件式(2)は、広角端状態における変倍光学系のバックフォーカスと、広角端状態における変倍光学系の焦点距離との比を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(2)を満足することにより、広角端状態におけるコマ収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することができる。なお、バックフォーカスとは最も像側のレンズ面から像面までの光軸上の距離である。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(2)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、広角端状態における変倍光学系の焦点距離に対して、広角端状態における変倍光学系のバックフォーカスが大きくなり、広角端状態における諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(2)の上限値を0.91にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(2)の上限値を0.85、さらに0.80にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(2)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、広角端状態における変倍光学系の焦点距離に対して、広角端状態における変倍光学系のバックフォーカスが小さくなり、広角端状態における諸収差、特にコマ収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(2)の下限値を0.300にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(2)の下限値を0.400、さらに0.500にすることが好ましい。
なお、条件式(2)において、BFwが示す「広角端状態における前記変倍光学系のバックフォーカス」を「全長が最も短い状態における前記変倍光学系のバックフォーカス」とし、fwが示す「広角端状態における前記変倍光学系の焦点距離」を「全長が最も短い状態における前記変倍光学系の焦点距離」としても良い。すなわち条件式(2)は、次のように表しても良い。

以上の構成により、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応することができ、変倍時および合焦時に諸収差を良好に補正することができる変倍光学系を実現することができる。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、後続レンズ群が正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群とを有し、以下の条件式(3)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(3)は、第3レンズ群の焦点距離と第5レンズ群の焦点距離との比を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(3)を満足することにより、第3レンズ群と第5レンズ群とのパワー比を適正範囲に保つことができ、非点収差およびコマ収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(3)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、第5レンズ群の屈折力に対して第3レンズ群の屈折力が大きくなり、広角端状態における諸収差、特に非点収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(3)の上限値を-0.800にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(3)の上限値を-1.000、さらに-1.100にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(3)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、第3レンズ群の屈折力に対して第5レンズ群の屈折力が大きくなり、望遠端状態における諸収差、特にコマ収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(3)の下限値を-2.500にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(3)の下限値を-2.000、さらに-1.400にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、第4レンズ群が合焦レンズ群を有することが望ましい。本実施形態に係る変倍光学系は、この構成により、合焦レンズ群を小型軽量化でき、その結果、変倍光学系及び鏡筒の小型化を図ることができる。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(4)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(4)は、第1レンズ群の焦点距離と、第1レンズ群より像面側に配置されたレンズ群の広角端状態における合成焦点距離との比を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(4)を満足することにより、広角端状態におけるコマ収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することができる。さらに、条件式(4)を満足することにより、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍の際、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差の変動を抑えることができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(4)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、第1レンズ群より像面側に配置されたレンズ群の広角端状態における屈折力が大きくなり、広角端状態における諸収差、特にコマ収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。また、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍の際、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差の変動を抑えることが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(4)の上限値を8.500にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(4)の上限値を8.000、さらに6.500にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(4)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、第1レンズ群の屈折力が大きくなり、広角端状態における諸収差、特にコマ収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。また、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍の際、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差の変動を抑えることが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(4)の下限値を5.000にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(4)の下限値を5.100、さらに5.200にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(5)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(5)は、第3レンズ群内の最も屈折力が大きいレンズの屈折率を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(5)を満足する屈折力の高い硝子材料を用いることにより、軸上色収差と球面収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(5)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、第3レンズ群の屈折力が増大し、軸上色収差と球面収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(5)の上限値を1.750にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(5)の上限値を1.700、さらに1.650にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(6)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(6)は、第3レンズ群内の最もアッベ数が小さいレンズのアッベ数を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(6)を満足する低分散の硝子材料を用いることにより第3レンズ群に異常分散性を持たせることができ、軸上色収差と球面収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(6)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、第3レンズ群に充分な異常分散性を持たせることができず、軸上色収差と球面収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(6)の下限値を55.000にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(6)の下限値を58.000、さらに60.000にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(7)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(7)は、広角端状態における最も像面側に配置されたレンズ群の横倍率を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(7)を満足することにより、広角端状態における、非点収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(7)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、広角端状態における最も像面側に配置されたレンズ群の横倍率が小さくなり、広角端状態における諸収差、特に非点収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(7)の上限値を0.950にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(7)の上限値を0.900、さらに0.850にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(7)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、広角端状態における最も像面側に配置されたレンズ群の横倍率が大きくなり、広角端状態において像面湾曲が発生しやすくなり、また諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(7)の下限値を0.550にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(7)の下限値を0.600、さらに0.650にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(8)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(8)は、第2レンズ群内の最も物体側のレンズ成分の焦点距離と、第2レンズ群の焦点距離との比を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(8)を満足することにより、第2レンズ群内の最も物体側のレンズ成分のパワーを適正に配置することができ、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(8)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、第2レンズ群内の最も物体側のレンズ成分の屈折力が小さくなり、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(8)の上限値を1.000にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(8)の上限値を0.900、さらに0.850にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(8)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、第2レンズ群内の最も物体側のレンズ成分の屈折力が大きくなり、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(8)の下限値を0.600にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(8)の下限値を0.650、さらに0.700にすることが好ましい。

条件式(9)は、合焦レンズ群の焦点距離と、望遠端状態における変倍光学系の焦点距離との比を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(9)を満足することにより、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際の球面収差をはじめとする諸収差の変動を抑えるとともに、変倍光学系および鏡筒の小型化を図ることができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(9)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、合焦レンズ群の屈折力が小さくなり、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際の諸収差の変動、特に球面収差の変動を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(9)の上限値を1.000にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(9)の上限値を0.900、さらに0.850にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(9)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、合焦レンズ群の屈折力が大きくなり、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際の諸収差の変動、特に球面収差の変動を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(9)の下限値を0.500にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(9)の下限値を0.600、さらに0.700にすることが好ましい。
また、本実施形態の変倍光学系は、以下の条件式(10)を満足することが望ましい。

条件式(10)は、広角端状態における変倍光学系の半画角を規定するものである。本実施形態の変倍光学系は、条件式(10)を満足することにより、広い画角を有しつつ、コマ収差、歪曲収差、像面湾曲等の諸収差を良好に補正することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(10)の対応値が上限値を上回ると、画角が広くなりすぎ、コマ収差、歪曲収差、像面湾曲等の諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(10)の上限値を84.00°にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(10)の上限値を83.00°、さらに82.00°にすることが好ましい。
一方、本実施形態の変倍光学系の条件式(10)の対応値が下限値を下回ると、画角が狭くなり、諸収差を良好に補正することが困難となる。なお、本実施形態の効果をより確実にするために、条件式(10)の下限値を41.00°にすることが好ましい。また、本実施形態の効果をさらに確実にするために、条件式(10)の下限値を42.00°、さらに43.00°にすることが好ましい。
本実施形態の光学装置は、上述した構成の変倍光学系を有する。これにより、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応することができ、変倍時および合焦時に諸収差を良好に補正することができる光学装置を実現することができる。
本実施形態の変倍光学系の製造方法は、物体側から順に、正の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群と、負の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する後続レンズ群とを有する変倍光学系の製造方法であって、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍時に、前記第1レンズ群と前記第2レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第2レンズ群と前記第3レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第3レンズ群と前記後続レンズ群との間隔が変化するように構成し、前記後続レンズ群が、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦時に移動する合焦レンズ群を有するように構成し、以下の条件式(1)および(2)を満足するように構成する変倍光学系の製造方法である。これにより、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応することができ、変倍時および合焦時に諸収差を良好に補正することができる変倍光学系を製造することができる。

(第1実施例)
図1A、図1B、および図1Cはそれぞれ、本実施形態の第1実施例に係る変倍光学系の広角端状態、中間焦点距離状態、および望遠端状態における断面図である。図1A中の各レンズ群の下の矢印は、広角端状態から中間焦点距離状態への変倍の際の各レンズ群の移動方向を示している。図1B中の各レンズ群の下の矢印は、中間焦点距離状態から望遠端状態への変倍の際の各レンズ群の移動軌跡を示している。
(第1実施例)
図1A、図1B、および図1Cはそれぞれ、本実施形態の第1実施例に係る変倍光学系の広角端状態、中間焦点距離状態、および望遠端状態における断面図である。図1A中の各レンズ群の下の矢印は、広角端状態から中間焦点距離状態への変倍の際の各レンズ群の移動方向を示している。図1B中の各レンズ群の下の矢印は、中間焦点距離状態から望遠端状態への変倍の際の各レンズ群の移動軌跡を示している。
本実施例に係る変倍光学系は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、正の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、負の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、開口絞りSと、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、正の屈折力を有する後続レンズ群GRとから構成されている。
第1レンズ群G1は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL11と物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL12との接合レンズからなる。
第2レンズ群G2は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL21と、両凹形状の負レンズL22と、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL23とからなる。負メニスカスレンズL21は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第3レンズ群G3は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、両凸形状の正レンズL31と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL32と両凸形状の正レンズL33との接合レンズと、両凹形状の負レンズL34と両凸形状の正レンズL35との接合レンズとからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL31は、物体側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第2レンズ群G2は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL21と、両凹形状の負レンズL22と、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL23とからなる。負メニスカスレンズL21は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第3レンズ群G3は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、両凸形状の正レンズL31と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL32と両凸形状の正レンズL33との接合レンズと、両凹形状の負レンズL34と両凸形状の正レンズL35との接合レンズとからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL31は、物体側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
後続レンズ群GRは、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。
第4レンズ群G4は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL41と、両凸形状の正レンズL42とからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL42は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第5レンズ群G5は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL51と、両凹形状の負レンズL52とからなる。正メニスカスレンズL51は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第4レンズ群G4は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL41と、両凸形状の正レンズL42とからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL42は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第5レンズ群G5は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL51と、両凹形状の負レンズL52とからなる。正メニスカスレンズL51は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第5レンズ群G5と像面Iとの間には、ローパスフィルタ等のフィルタFLが配置されている。
像面I上には、CCDやCMOS等から構成された撮像素子(図示省略)が配置されている。

本実施例に係る変倍光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍時に、第1レンズ群G1と第2レンズ群G2との間隔、第2レンズ群G2と第3レンズ群G3との間隔、第3レンズ群G3と第4レンズ群G4との間隔および第4レンズ群G4と第5レンズ群G5との間隔が変化するように、第1レンズ群G1から第5レンズ群G5までの全てのレンズ群が光軸に沿って移動する。また、開口絞りSは、広角端状態から望遠端状態への変倍時に第3レンズ群G3と一体に移動する。
本実施例に係る変倍光学系では、合焦レンズ群として第4レンズ群G4を光軸に沿って物体方向へ移動させることにより、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦を行う。

各収差図において、FNOはFナンバー、NAは開口数、Aは光線入射角即ち半画角(単位は「°」)、H0は物体高(単位:mm)をそれぞれ示す。詳しくは、球面収差図では最大口径に対応するFナンバーFNOまたは開口数NAの値を示し、非点収差図および歪曲収差図では半画角または物体高の最大値をそれぞれ示し、コマ収差図では各半画角または各物体高の値を示す。dはd線(波長587.6nm)、gはg線(波長435.8nm)における収差をそれぞれ示し、d、gの記載のないものはd線における収差を示す。非点収差図において、実線はサジタル像面、破線はメリディオナル像面をそれぞれ示す。コマ収差図は、各半画角または各物体高におけるコマ収差すなわち横収差を示す。なお、後述する各実施例の収差図においても、本実施例と同様の符号を用いる。
各収差図より、本実施例に係る変倍光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態にわたって諸収差を良好に補正し優れた結像性能を有しており、さらに近距離物体合焦時にも優れた結像性能を有していることがわかる。
(第2実施例)

第3レンズ群G3は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、両凸形状の正レンズL31と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL32と両凸形状の正レンズL33との接合レンズと、両凹形状の負レンズL34と両凸形状の正レンズL35との接合レンズとからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL31は、物体側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第2レンズ群G2は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL21と、両凹形状の負レンズL22と、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL23とからなる。負メニスカスレンズL21は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。

第5レンズ群G5は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL51と、両凹形状の負レンズL52とからなる。正メニスカスレンズL51は、像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。

第5レンズ群G5は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL51と、両凹形状の負レンズL52とからなる。

第3レンズ群G3は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、両凸形状の正レンズL31と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL32と両凸形状の正レンズL33との接合レンズと、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL34と両凹形状の負レンズL35との接合レンズとからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL31は、物体側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。

第5レンズ群G5は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、両凸形状の正レンズL51と両凹形状の負レンズL52との接合レンズからなる。両凹形状の負レンズL52は、物体側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。
第4レンズ群G4は、光軸に沿って物体側から順に、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL41と、両凸形状の正レンズL42とからなる。両凸形状の正レンズL42は、物体側のレンズ面および像面I側のレンズ面を非球面としたガラスモールド非球面レンズである。

本実施例に係る変倍光学系では、合焦レンズ群として第4レンズ群G4の正メニスカスレンズL41を光軸に沿って物体方向へ移動させることにより、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦を行う。
以下の表8に、本実施例に係る変倍光学系の諸元の値を掲げる。

各収差図より、本実施例に係る変倍光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態にわたって諸収差を良好に補正し優れた結像性能を有しており、さらに近距離物体合焦時にも優れた結像性能を有していることがわかる。
上記各実施例によれば、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応することができ、広角端状態から望遠端状態にわたって諸収差を良好に補正し、さらに近距離物体合焦時にも優れた結像性能を有する変倍光学系を実現することができる。
なお、本実施形態に係る変倍光学系は、変倍比が2~10倍程度であり、広角端状態における焦点距離が35mm換算で20~30mm程度である。また、本実施形態に係る変倍光学系は、広角端状態におけるFナンバーがf/2.0~f/4.5程度であり、望遠端状態におけるFナンバーがf/2.0~f/6.3程度である。
また、上記各実施例は本実施形態の一具体例を示しているものであり、本実施形態はこれらに限定されるものではない。以下の内容は、本実施形態の変倍光学系の光学性能を損なわない範囲で適宜採用することが可能である。

本実施形態の変倍光学系の数値実施例として5群構成または6群構成のものを示したが、本実施形態はこれに限られず、その他の群構成(例えば、7群等)の変倍光学系を構成することもできる。具体的には、上記各実施例の変倍光学系の最も物体側や最も像側にレンズ又はレンズ群を追加した構成でも構わない。或いは、第1レンズ群G1と第2レンズ群G2との間にレンズ又はレンズ群を追加しても良い。或いは、第2レンズ群G2と第3レンズ群G3との間にレンズ又はレンズ群を追加しても良い。或いは、第3レンズ群G3と後続レンズ群GRとの間にレンズ又はレンズ群を追加しても良い。
また、上記各実施例では、後続レンズ群GRを構成するレンズ群として第4レンズ群G4および第5レンズ群G5、又は第4レンズ群G4、第5レンズ群G5および第6レンズ群G6を示したが、この限りではない。
また、上記各実施例では、1つのレンズ群又はレンズ群の一部を合焦レンズ群としたが、2つ以上のレンズ群を合焦レンズ群としても良い。斯かる合焦レンズ群は、オートフォーカスに適用することも可能であり、オートフォーカス用のモータ、例えば超音波モータ、ステッピングモータ、VCMモータ等による駆動にも適している。
また、上記各実施例の変倍光学系において、いずれかのレンズ群全体又はその一部を、防振群として光軸に対して垂直な方向の成分を含むように移動させ、又は光軸を含む面内方向へ回転移動(揺動)させることにより、防振を行う構成とすることもできる。
また、上記各実施例の変倍光学系を構成するレンズのレンズ面は、球面又は平面としてもよく、或いは非球面としてもよい。レンズ面が球面又は平面の場合、レンズ加工及び組立調整が容易になり、レンズ加工及び組立調整の誤差による光学性能の劣化を防ぐことができるため好ましい。また、像面がずれた場合でも描写性能の劣化が少ないため好ましい。レンズ面が非球面の場合、研削加工による非球面、ガラスを型で非球面形状に成型したガラスモールド非球面、又はガラス表面に設けた樹脂を非球面形状に形成した複合型非球面のいずれでもよい。また、レンズ面は回折面としてもよく、レンズを屈折率分布型レンズ(GRINレンズ)或いはプラスチックレンズとしてもよい。
また、上記各実施例の変倍光学系において、開口絞りSは第2レンズ群G2と第3レンズ群G3との間に配置されることが好ましいが、開口絞りとして部材を設けずにレンズ枠でその役割を代用する構成としてもよい。
また、上記各実施例の変倍光学系を構成するレンズのレンズ面に、広い波長域で高い透過率を有する反射防止膜を施してもよい。これにより、フレアやゴーストを軽減し、高コントラストの高い光学性能を達成することができる。
次に、本実施形態の変倍光学系を備えたカメラを図25に基づいて説明する。

図25に示すようにカメラ1は、撮影レンズ2として上記第1実施例に係る変倍光学系を備えたレンズ交換式の所謂ミラーレスカメラである。

本カメラ1において、不図示の物体(被写体)からの光は、撮影レンズ2で集光されて、不図示のOLPF(Optical low pass filter:光学ローパスフィルタ)を介して撮像部3の撮像面上に被写体像を形成する。そして、撮像部3に設けられた光電変換素子によって被写体像が光電変換されて被写体の画像が生成される。この画像は、カメラ1に設けられたEVF(Electronic view finder:電子ビューファインダ)4に表示される。これにより撮影者は、EVF4を介して被写体を観察することができる。
また、撮影者によって不図示のレリーズボタンが押されると、撮像部3で生成された被写体の画像が不図示のメモリに記憶される。このようにして、撮影者は本カメラ1による被写体の撮影を行うことができる。

ここで、本カメラ1に撮影レンズ2として搭載した上記第1実施例に係る変倍光学系は、上述のように良好な光学性能を備え、小型化が図られている。すなわち本カメラ1は、小型化が可能であるとともに、広角端状態から望遠端状態にわたって諸収差を良好に補正し、さらに近距離物体合焦時にも優れた結像性能を有する高い光学性能を実現することができる。なお、上記第2~第8実施例に係る変倍光学系を撮影レンズ2として搭載したカメラを構成しても、上記カメラ1と同様の効果を奏することができる。また、クイックリターンミラーを有し、ファインダ光学系によって被写体を観察する一眼レフタイプのカメラに上記各実施例に係る変倍光学系を搭載した場合でも、上記カメラ1と同様の効果を奏することができる。
次に、本実施形態の変倍光学系の製造方法の概略を図26に基づいて説明する。

斯かる本実施形態の変倍光学系の製造方法によれば、小型でありながら大型の撮像素子に対応することができ、広角端状態から望遠端状態にわたって諸収差を良好に補正し、さらに近距離物体合焦時にも優れた結像性能を備えた高い光学性能を有する変倍光学系を実現することができる。

Claims (12)
- 物体側から順に、正の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群と、負の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する後続レンズ群とを有し、
変倍時に、前記第1レンズ群と前記第2レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第2レンズ群と前記第3レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第3レンズ群と前記後続レンズ群との間隔が変化し、
前記後続レンズ群は、合焦時に移動する合焦レンズ群を有し、
以下の条件式を満足する変倍光学系。
0.040 < βFw < 0.800
0.100 <BFw/fw < 1.00
但し、
βFw:広角端状態における前記合焦レンズ群の横倍率
BFw:広角端状態における前記変倍光学系のバックフォーカス
fw:広角端状態における前記変倍光学系の焦点距離 - 前記後続レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群とを有し、
以下の条件式を満足する請求項1に記載の変倍光学系。
-3.000 < f5/f3 < -0.500
但し、
f3:前記第3レンズ群の焦点距離
f5:前記第5レンズ群の焦点距離 - 前記第4レンズ群は、前記合焦レンズ群を有する請求項2に記載の変倍光学系。
- 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
4.000 < f1/f1Rw < 9.000
但し、
f1:前記第1レンズ群の焦点距離
f1Rw:前記第1レンズ群より像面側に配置されたレンズ群の広角端状態における合成焦点距離 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
nd3fp < 1.800
但し、
nd3fp:前記第3レンズ群内の最も屈折率の大きいレンズの屈折率 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
50.000 < νd3p
但し、
νd3p:前記第3レンズ群内の最もアッベ数が小さいレンズのアッベ数 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
0.500 < 1/βRw < 1.000
但し、
βRw:広角端状態における最も像面側に配置されたレンズ群の横倍率 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
0.500 < f2fn/f2 < 1.100
但し、
f2fn:前記第2レンズ群内の最も物体側のレンズ成分の焦点距離
f2:前記第2レンズ群の焦点距離 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から8の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
0.300 < fF/ft < 1.400
但し、
fF:前記合焦レンズ群の焦点距離
ft:望遠端状態における前記変倍光学系の焦点距離 - 以下の条件式を満足する請求項1から9の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系。
40.00° < ωw < 85.00°
但し、
ωw:広角端状態における前記変倍光学系の半画角 - 請求項1から10の何れか一項に記載の変倍光学系を有する光学装置。
- 物体側から順に、正の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群と、負の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群と、正の屈折力を有する後続レンズ群とを有する変倍光学系の製造方法であって、
変倍時に、前記第1レンズ群と前記第2レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第2レンズ群と前記第3レンズ群との間隔が変化し、前記第3レンズ群と前記後続レンズ群との間隔が変化するように構成し、
前記後続レンズ群が、合焦時に移動する合焦レンズ群を有するように構成し、
以下の条件式を満足するように構成する変倍光学系の製造方法。
0.040 < βFw < 0.800
0.100 <BFw/fw < 1.00
但し、
