Description

Vehicle seat
The present invention relates to a vehicle seat, and more particularly to a vehicle seat provided with a rearward-deployed airbag.
A seat for motor vehicles is known which is provided with an air bag unit which is deployed rearward at the rear of the seat back. A seat of an automobile according to Patent Document 1 is provided on a back surface of a seatback, and is supported by a plate-like seatback garnish provided with an opening and a seatback frame, and is provided outside the seatback garnish through the opening. And a projecting air bag unit.
In a vehicle, a vehicle seat provided with an air bag inside a seat back is known (for example, Patent Document 2). The vehicle seat of Patent Document 2 is provided with a webbing for cleaving the seamed portion of the skin member when the air bag is inflated. The upholstery is connected to the seat back frame via hooks at one end, and is sewn to the skin member constituting the sewn part at the other end. The inflation pressure of the air bag is applied to the suture via the webbing, so that the suture breaks open. The air bag is deployed forward of the side of the seat back through the opening.

However, the above-mentioned seat has a problem that a gap is easily generated between the seat back garnish and the air bag unit. When a flexible skin material such as woven fabric or leather is used instead of the seat back garnish, it is more difficult to eliminate the gap between the skin material and the airbag unit. If a gap is generated, the appearance may be impaired, and the operation of the air bag unit may be impeded by the inclusion of foreign matter or the like.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above background, the present invention has an object to eliminate a gap between an air bag unit and a skin material, which are deployed rearward, in a vehicle seat.

The air bag 44 is a bag and is connected to the inflator 43. The air bag 44 is formed in an arc shape that is convex upward at the time of deployment, and is connected to the inflator 43 at its proximal end, and its tip end is located rearward with respect to the inflator 43. In the initial state, the air bag 44 is folded and disposed in the case 41 above the inflator 43. After the inflator 43 and the air bag 44 are disposed on the retainer 46, the wall member 47 integral with the lid 42 is attached to the retainer 46, whereby the inflator 43 and the air bag 44 are provided inside the case 41.
The surface material 8 forms the back surface of the seat back 4 and has an opening 61 for exposing the air bag unit 21 to the rear at a portion forming the back surface. The opening 61 is formed in a rectangular shape long in the left and right direction corresponding to the recess 28. The aperture 61 is formed smaller than the open end of the recess 28 and has a slit at the boundary between the upper edge, the left and right side edges, and the lower edge. Hooks 62 are connected to the upper edge, the left and right side edges, and the lower edge of the opening 61 by sewing or the like. In each of the holder upper wall 29B, the left and right holder side walls 29C, and the holder lower wall 29D of the holder 22, a skin retaining hole 64 penetrating in the thickness direction is formed. The upper edge, the left and right side edges, and the lower edge of the aperture 61 extend into the recess 28 and are hooked to the corresponding skin retaining holes 64 by the hooks 62. The skin material 8 has a through hole 65 at a position facing the flange side insertion hole 34.
As shown in FIG. 4, pin insertion holes 66 penetrating in the thickness direction are formed in the left and right holder side walls 29 </ b> C of the holder 22. When the case 41 is received in the recess 28, the left and right pins 53 pass through the corresponding left and right pin insertion holes 66 and project to the left and right sides of the holder side wall 29C. When the surface material 8 is present at a position facing the pin insertion hole 66, it is preferable that the surface material 8 be formed with a through hole through which the pin 53 can pass. Further, elastic claws 67 protruding from the upper surface of the case upper wall 47A are formed in the locking holes 68 formed on the lower surface of the holder upper wall 29B. The air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 are temporarily fixed to each other by inserting the pin 53 into the pin insertion hole 66 and locking the elastic claw 67 to the locking hole 68. In this state, the edge portion of the lid 42 and the fastening plate 46D face the flange 31 via the skin material 8, and the left and right bulging portions 55 of the fastening plate 46D protrude into the corresponding flange side insertion holes 34.
As shown in FIG. 7, the left and right pins 53 are received in the vertical holes 25A of the corresponding left and right pin locking holes 25. Thereby, the movement of the left and right pins 53 and the airbag unit 21 in the front-rear direction is restricted.
As shown in FIG. 9, with the left and right pins 53 received in the corresponding vertical holes 25 A of the corresponding pin locking holes 25, the projecting ends of the left and right bulges 55 are support plates for the left and right side frames 11. It abuts on the rear face of the seat. Each support plate 23 has a second bolt hole 71 penetrating in the thickness direction at a position facing the first bolt hole 56 of the corresponding bulging portion 55. Weld nuts 72 are welded to the front surfaces of the support plates 23 at positions corresponding to the second bolt holes 71.
The first bolt 74 (first fastening member) passes through the first bolt hole 56 on the left side and the second bolt hole 71 on the left side and is screwed to the weld nut 72 on the left side, whereby the left end of the fastening plate 46D is on the left side. It is fastened to the support plate 23. The second bolt 75 (second fastening member) passes through the first bolt hole 56 on the right side and the second bolt hole 71 on the right side and is screwed to the weld nut 72 on the left side, whereby the right end of the fastening plate 46D is the left and right side Is fastened to the support plate 23 of the The flange 31 is held by the left end of the fastening plate 46D at the left end and the support plate 23 at the left, and is held by the right end of the fastening plate 46D at the right end and the support plate 23 on the right. Thus, the case 41 and the holder 22 are fastened together to the left side frame 11 by the first bolt 74 and fastened together to the right side frame 11 by the second bolt 75.
When the air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 are fastened to the left and right support plates 23 by the first bolt 74 and the second bolt 75, the left and right pins 53 can not move up and down in the vertical hole 25A. It can not separate from the vertical hole 25A. In this state, the movement of the left and right pins 53 is restricted by coming into contact with the front and rear edges of the vertical hole 25A. In addition, the locking pieces 53A provided at the tip of each pin 53 abut on the front and rear edges of the corresponding vertical hole 25A from the left and right, thereby restricting the movement of the pin 53 in the left and right direction. Thus, the airbag unit 21 and the holder 22 are engaged by the left and right fastening parts by the first bolt 74 and the second bolt 75 and the pins 53 and the pin locking holes 25 disposed above the left and right fastening parts. It is stably supported by the left and right side frames 11 by the structure.
In a state where the air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 are attached to the left and right side frames 11, the reinforcing member 32 provided on the lower side 31C has a left end located behind the support plate 23 on the left and a right end supporting the right Located behind the plate 23. That is, viewed from the rear, the reinforcing member 32 provided on the lower side 31C extends from the rear of the left support plate 23 to the rear of the right support plate 23.
When attaching the holder 22 and the air bag unit 21 to the seat back frame 6, the holder 22 is first disposed inside the surface material 8 attached to the seat back frame 6, and the edge of the opening 61 of the surface material 8 is placed on the holder 22. Hang up the department. Next, the air bag unit 21 is inserted into the recess 28 of the holder 22, the left and right pins 53 are inserted into the corresponding pin insertion holes 66, and the elastic claws 67 are locked in the locking holes 68. Further, the bulging portion 55 is inserted into the flange side insertion hole 34. Next, the left and right pins 53 are inserted into the corresponding pin locking holes 25. At this time, by moving the air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 forward, the left and right pins 53 are inserted from the rear end of the corresponding horizontal hole 25 B of the pin locking hole 25, and then the air bag unit 21 and the holder The pins 22 are moved to the upper ends of the corresponding vertical holes 25A by moving the pins 22 upward. As a result, the left and right bulging portions 55 face the corresponding support plates 23, and the first bolt holes 56 and the second bolt holes 71 align with each other. Next, the first bolt 74 and the second bolt 75 are inserted into the first bolt hole 56 and the second bolt hole 71, and screwed onto the weld nut 72, whereby the air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 are formed on the left and right side frames. Signed at 11. Thus, the holder 22 and the airbag unit 21 are attached to the seat back frame 6.
Next, the operation at the time of deployment of the air bag 44 will be described. When a vehicle collision is detected by the in-vehicle device, a signal is input to the inflator 43, and the inflator 43 generates gas. The gas generated by the inflator 43 is supplied to the air bag 44, and the air bag 44 is inflated. When the air bag 44 inflates, as shown in FIG. 10, an expansion pressure is applied to the case 41 and the lid 42 from the inside, the first case fragile portion 57 is cleaved, and the upper portion of the lid 42 moves rearward with respect to the case 41 Do. At this time, the second fragile portion is cleaved, and the rear portion of the case upper wall 47A moves upward with respect to the initial position. At the same time, the holder upper wall 29B receives the inflation pressure of the air bag 44 through the case upper wall 47A, and the left and right holder fragile portions 35 are cleaved. As a result, the rear portion of the holder upper wall 29B and the upper side 31A of the flange 31 move upward with respect to the initial position. As a result, a passage extending rearward and upward between the lid 42 and the case upper wall 47A is formed, and the air bag 44 is deployed rearward and upward.
In the seat 1 according to the present embodiment, since the edge of the surface material 8 extends inside the holder 22 covered by the lid 42, a gap is formed between the surface material 8 and the airbag unit 21 when viewed from the rear. It can be prevented from being formed. Further, since the deformation of the flange 31 is suppressed by the reinforcing member 32, the spread between the flange 31 and the lid 42 is suppressed. Thereby, the approach of the foreign material between the flange 31 and the lid 42 can be suppressed. Further, since the rigidity of the holder 22 is improved by the reinforcing member 32, the air bag unit 21 can be stably supported by the side frame 11 via the holder 22.
Since the reinforcing member 32 is disposed so as to avoid the holder fragile portion 35, the holder 22 can be cleaved even when the reinforcing member 32 is provided on the holder 22, and the deployment of the airbag 44 can be promoted. Further, since the reinforcing member 32 is disposed so as to avoid the flange side insertion hole 34, the bulging portion 55, the first bolt 74, and the second bolt 75 can be disposed through the flange 31.
When viewed from the rear, one of the reinforcing members 32 overlaps with the support plate 23 of the left side frame 11 at the left end and overlaps with the support plate 23 of the right side frame 11 at the right end. The side frame 11 can stably support the reaction force via the reinforcing member 32.
Since the air bag unit 21 and the holder 22 are fastened together to the support plates 23 of the left and right side frames 11 by the first bolt 74 and the second bolt 75, the mounting operation can be facilitated.
Since the bulging portion 55 of the fastening plate 46D passes through the flange side insertion hole 34 and abuts on the support plate 23, and the fastening plate 46D and the support plate 23 are fastened at the bulging portion 55, the side frame 11 is an airbag The unit 21 can be supported with good stability.
Since the left and right pins 53 are locked in the pin locking holes 25 provided in the left and right side frames 11, the number of connection points between the air bag unit 21 and the side frame 11 increases, and the air bag unit 21 is attached to the side frame 11. The stability can be supported well. Since the left and right pin locking holes 25 are opened rearward by the lateral holes 25B, the left and right pins 53 can be locked in the left and right pin locking holes 25 by a simple operation. The left and right pins 53 pass through the left and right holder side walls 29C of the holder 22, so that the case 41 and the holder 22 can be temporarily fixed to each other.

Due to a frontal collision or the like, an acceleration or load directed to the front is applied to the occupant in the rear seat. In order to detect the load applied to the rear seat occupant, for example, a sensor 197 may be provided to detect the load applied to the seat belt 196 worn by the rear seat occupant.
When the acceleration of the rear seat occupant and the load applied to the seat belt 196 become equal to or greater than a predetermined value, the gas is released from the inflator 152. The gas released from the inflator 152 causes the air bag 151 to expand diagonally upward and backward along the guide surface 145. The inflated air bag 151 passes between the slits 168 to reach the suture portion 175. At this time, a load is applied to the first force cloth 181 and the second force cloth 182 by the expansion of the air bag 151. The load applied to the first force cloth 181 and the second force cloth 182 is transmitted to the suture portion 175, the suture portion 175 is broken, and an opening is formed at the back upper end of the seat back 104. The air bag 151 protrudes from the rear upper end of the seat back 104 through the opening, expands rearward and obliquely upward, and then deploys so as to extend downward and rearward. The air bag 151 has a convex arch shape when deployed (broken line in FIG. 11). Therefore, regardless of the distance between the vehicle seat 101 and the rear seat, the air bag 151 can be deployed on the front side of the upper body of the occupant. When the rear seat is close to the vehicle seat 101, the air bag 151 is bent, so that the load applied to the rear by the deployment of the air bag 151 can be reduced.
Next, the effects of the vehicle seat 101 will be described. Since the suture portion 175 is provided at the upper rear end of the seat back 104, the air bag 151 is deployed from the upper rear end of the seat back 104. Therefore, the collision of the neck and head of the occupant on the rear seat with the back upper end of the seat back 104 is prevented. In addition, since the slit 168 and the stitching portion 175 are disposed obliquely rearward and upper with respect to the air bag module 150, the air bag 151 can be deployed obliquely upward and backward from the rear upper end of the seat back 104. The deployed air bag 151 is located in front of the neck and head of the rear seat occupant, and thus can protect the neck and head of the occupant.
The guide stay 122 is passed through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181. Therefore, the movement of the first webbing 181 in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the guide stay 122 is restricted. The first force cloth 181 is sandwiched between the flange portion 192 and the first pad member 165. Therefore, the movement of the first stay 181 along the extending direction of the guide stay 122 is restricted. Therefore, the end on the side of the through hole 183 of the first webbing 181 is coupled to the guide stay 122. In addition, since it is not necessary to couple a locking member or the like to the first force cloth 181, the first force cloth 181 can be coupled to the seat back frame 107 because it can be coupled to the guide stay 122 by providing the through holes 183. The structure required to make it be simple is easy, and the assembly | attachment to the guide stay 122 of the 1st force cloth 181 is easy.
A reinforcing member 184 made of resin is coupled to the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181 along the peripheral portion. By connecting the reinforcing member 184, the peripheral edge portion of the through hole 183 is reinforced, so that breakage of the first force cloth 181 starting from the through hole 183 is prevented.
The expansion of the air bag 151 applies a load to the second web 182 from the air bag 151. The load applied to the second web 182 is transmitted to the suture portion 175. Therefore, compared with the case where only the first force cloth 181 is provided, when the first force cloth 181 and the second force cloth 182 are provided, the load from the airbag 151 is more easily transmitted to the stitching portion 175. The expansion of the air bag 151 facilitates the opening of the sutured portion 175. Further, since the second force cloth 182 is hooked to the bracket 131 via the hook 195, the second force cloth 182 can be easily coupled to the bracket 131. Further, in the present embodiment, the second force cloth 182 is held by the bracket 131, but by providing a clip on the second force cloth 182 and fitting it in the through hole provided in the bracket 131, the second force cloth A cloth 182 may be coupled to the bracket 131.
The bracket 131 is welded to the upper frame 112 at at least two locations on the upper end, and rotation about the upper portion of the bracket 131 with its substantially vertical direction as an axis is restricted. The bracket 131 is welded to the side frame upper portion 114 at both left and right ends, and rotation about the lower portion of the bracket 131 with its substantially vertical direction as an axis is restricted. Since the brackets 131 are welded at four places separated from each other in the left and right and up and down directions, the brackets 131 do not easily come off the seat back frame 107. Therefore, the air bag module 150 can be firmly coupled to the seat back frame 107. Further, by connecting the left and right side frames 111 by the brackets 131, the side frames are reinforced, and the seat back frame 107 becomes difficult to deform.
A guide surface 145 is formed on the rear side of the air bag 151 to face a substantially rear side, and the inflator 152 is disposed below the air bag 151. The air bag 151 is inflated obliquely rearward and upward along the guide surface 145 by the gas supplied from the inflator 152. The air bag 151 can be guided by the guide surface 145 so as to deploy the air bag 151 rearward or upward.
Since a part of the inflator 152 is accommodated in the recess 141, the amount of rearward projection of the seat back 104 can be suppressed.
Since the inflator 152 is fastened to the edge wall 146 located at the rear of the guide surface 145, the air bag 151 does not easily abut on the bent portion (for example, the rear edge portion of the upper wall 143) of the plate in the bracket 131 when inflated. The breakage of the air bag 151 at the time of inflation can be prevented.
Since the second pad member 166 is provided on the back of the seat back 104, the back of the seat back 104 is softened, and the touch of the seat back 104 is improved. The second pad member 166 is formed separately from the first pad member 165. The second pad member 166 can be easily assembled by being inserted between the second force cloth 182 and the rear sheet material 174.
<< Third Embodiment >>
The third embodiment according to the present invention is different from the second embodiment in that the first force cloth 181, the reinforcing member 184, and the upper sheet member 173 are disposed above the guide stay 122. The headrest guide 190 is coupled to the guide stay 122 by passing through the through-holes of the first force cloth 181, the reinforcing member 184, and the upper sheet member 173. The first force cloth 181, the reinforcing member 184, and the upper sheet member 173 are held between the headrest guide 190 and the guide stay 122.
Since the headrest guide 190 passes through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181, the movement of the first force cloth 181 in the horizontal direction, more specifically, the direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the headrest guide 190 into the guide stay 122 Is regulated. Since the first force cloth 181 is sandwiched between the headrest guide 190 and the guide stay 122, the vertical movement is restricted. Therefore, the end of the first web 181 on the side of the through hole 183 is coupled to the seat back frame 107. Further, the first force cloth 181 can be coupled to the seat back frame 107 by passing the headrest guide 190 through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181 and coupling to the guide stay 122, so that the structure for assembling Is simple, and the assembly of the first force cloth 181 is easy.
<< 4th Embodiment >>
The fourth embodiment according to the present invention is different from the second embodiment in that a support member 200 is provided instead of the bracket 131. As shown in FIGS. 17 and 18, the guide stays 122 respectively project below the upper frame 112. A support wire 201 is bridged to the left and right at the top of the left and right side frames 111. The support wire 201 is formed of a bent metal rod member and is welded to the side frame 111 at both ends. In the support wire 201, two support portions 202 which are bent in the front and back direction and which are in the shape of a square in a top view are provided separately in the left and right directions. A metal plate member 203 is provided on the upper side of the support portion 202, and the plate member 203 is welded to the support wire 201 at the support portion 202.
The support member 200 is a member made of resin, and includes a base 204 and two receivers 205 provided on the left and right sides of the base 204 separately along the front upper edge of the base 204. The base portion 204 has a substantially trapezoidal plate shape in rear view. The receiving portion 205 has a conic shape opened rearward in a top view, and has a bowl shape in a side view. The trailing edge of the receiver 205 is coupled to the front upper edge of the base 204. The base 204 and the receiving portion 205 form a receiving recess 206 which is recessed downward in the support member 200.
The guide stays 122 respectively project below the upper frame 112. Below the guide stay 122, a support member 200 is disposed. The lower portion of each guide stay 122 extends inside the receiving recess 206 and is fitted into the receiving recess 206. Thus, the upper portion of the support member 200 is coupled to the guide stay 122, and the front, rear, left, and right movement of the upper portion of the support member 200 is restricted.
In the lower part of the rear surface of the base 204, a recess 141 which is recessed forward is formed. The recess 141 is formed to extend leftward and rightward along the lower edge of the base 204. The recess 141 is defined by a bottom wall 142 facing rearward, an upper wall 143 facing downward, a lower wall 144 facing upward, and left and right side walls, and has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape extending laterally in a rear view. In the base portion 204, on the upper side of the recess 141, a guide surface 145 that faces substantially in the rear direction is formed. The guide surface 145 extends upward from the opening edge of the recess 141 and reaches the upper edge of the base 204.
The lower edge of the base 204 is provided with an edge wall 146 extending rearward and extending leftward and rightward. The edge wall 146 is located behind the guide surface 145, more specifically, a virtual surface obtained by extrapolating the guide surface 145 vertically and horizontally. In the present embodiment, the edge wall 146 and the lower wall 144 are formed at the same height and continuously form one wall.
Through holes are formed in the plate member 203 and the edge wall 146. The male screw parts 153 of the inflator 152 are inserted into the through holes from above, and the inflator 152 and the support member 200 are fastened together to the plate member 203 by a nut 155 coupled to the male screw parts 153.
In the fourth embodiment, the second webbing 182 is provided with the hook 195 similarly to the second embodiment, and the hook 195 is latched to the through hole provided in the edge wall 146 of the support member 200.
By fitting the guide stay 122 into the receiving recess 206, movement of the upper portion of the support member 200 in the front, rear, left, and right directions is restricted. The support member 200 is fastened to the plate member 203 at the edge wall 146, thereby restricting the vertical movement of the upper portion of the support member 200. Therefore, the upper portion of the support member 200 does not have to be fastened to the seat back frame 107, and the upper portion of the support member 200 can be easily coupled to the seat back 104.
As in the second embodiment, since the second web 182 is provided, the inflation pressure of the air bag 151 can be easily transmitted to the stitching portion 175. Further, since the second force cloth 182 is coupled to the seat back 104 by being latched to the support member 200, the second force cloth 182 can be easily assembled.
Since the support member 200 is made of resin, the weight of the vehicle seat 101 can be reduced. Moreover, since the support member 200 is lightweight, it becomes easy to assemble.
Fifth Embodiment
The fifth embodiment according to the present invention is different from the fourth embodiment in the arrangement of the first force cloth 181 and the reinforcing member 184. As shown in FIG. 19, the end on the side of the through hole 183 of the first web 181 is located below the upper frame 112. The lower portion of the guide stay 122 passes from above through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181 and the through hole 185 of the reinforcing member 184. Similar to the fourth embodiment, the support member 200 is fitted to the guide stay 122 from the lower side of the first force cloth 181 and the reinforcing member 184, and the first force cloth 181 and the reinforcing member 184 support the upper frame 112 and It is held between the member 200.
Since the lower part of the guide stay 122 passes through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181, the horizontal movement of the first force cloth 181 is restricted. Since the first force cloth 181 is sandwiched between the upper frame 112 and the support member 200, the movement in the vertical direction is restricted. Thus, the first webbing 181 is coupled to the seat back frame 107. Also, the lower part of the guide stay 122 is passed through the through hole 183 of the first force cloth 181, and the support member 200 is fitted into the guide stay 122, so that the first force cloth 181 is coupled to the guide stay 122. The structure of the second embodiment is simple, and the assembly of the first force cloth 181 is easy.
Although the description of the specific embodiment is finished above, the present invention can be widely modified and implemented without being limited to the above embodiment. For example, in the first embodiment, the reinforcing member 32 may be disposed along the surface of the flange 31. In this case, the reinforcing member 32 can be easily disposed on the flange 31. Further, the reinforcing member 32 may have a metal plate formed in a corrugated shape. In this case, the rigidity of the reinforcing member 32 can be improved, and the weight can be reduced.
