Abstract

The present invention, which relates to the field of devices and accessories for card games, more specifically for the game of poker, takes the form of a cylindrical device for storing a number of chips, which makes it possible to separate out and to gather together a number of chips by juxtaposing the chips as a vertical stack. The device has two parts: a base (1) and a cover (2); the base is provided with flanges (1A), which are moulded by heating and folding or by injection-moulding, the function of which is to hold the chips at the ends of the device and thus to assist in grouping them together. The two parts are coupled to one another and form a diameter and length ideal for receiving the specified number of chips, thereby constituting a cylindrical device that facilitates the handling, carrying, separating-out and counting of chips in the game of poker.
