- uplink transmission is a scheme in which a UL resource is first allocated by a base station, and then the UE transmits data based on resources allocated thereto. This is called dynamic UL transmission because UL resources are dynamically generated.
- the periodic or aperiodic transmission of UL resources based on preset UL resources is called an autonomous UL transmission or a semi-persistent scheduling (UL) UL transmission.
- Autonomous UL transmissions may be particularly useful in an unlicensed band that is shared by various communication protocols and is difficult to determine when a wireless medium is idle.
- hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) is also introduced in the license-exempt band.
- a UE can generally operate a plurality of HARQ processes at the same time. In a situation where dynamic UL transmission and autonomous UL transmission are mixed, there is a need for a method capable of operating the HARQ process without collision.
- the present invention provides a method for autonomous transmission in a license-exempt band and an apparatus using the same.
- a method for autonomous transmission in a license-exempt band includes receiving, by the wireless device, a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) setting for a first uplink transmission, wherein the SPS setting includes information about an SPS window indicating a time region in which the first uplink transmission is permitted ,
- the wireless device receives downlink control information (DCI) on a DL channel with an uplink grant indicating a second uplink transmission, and the uplink grant transmits a second HARQ_id for the second uplink transmission and an automatic repeat request process identifier.

- Figure 4 shows an example of an SPS window.
- the SPS window is the period during which the wireless device is allowed to perform the UL transmission.
- the wireless device can transmit a PUSCH within each SPS window if there is UL data to transmit.
- An SPS window may include one or more SFs (subframes).
- the SPS window may comprise a plurality of consecutive SFs.
- the SPS window may appear periodically, and this period is called the SPS window period.
- the SPS window information can include the number of SFs in which the SPS window starts, the number of SFs included in the SPS window period, and the SPS window.
- SF is used as a unit in which the SPS window is set, but this is only an example.
- the SPS window can be represented by a slot, an OFDM symbol, or a scheduling unit. If the unit is a slot, the SPS window may include one or more slots.
- the SPS window for UL transmission may also be referred to as an autonomous uplink (AUL) window.
- AUL autonomous uplink
- the wireless device obtains the time (t1) at which the CCA succeeds in the SPS window and the last time (t2) of the SF to which t1 belongs. If the value of t2-t1 is greater than the first threshold, the wireless device can transmit the PUSCH. If the code rate of the PUSCH is less than the second threshold (e.g., the code rate is less than 2/3), the wireless device may transmit the PUSCH. For example, assume that the first threshold is 4 OFDM symbols and one SF contains 14 OFDM symbols. If t1 is the seventh OFDM symbol, the wireless device can transmit the PUSCH in the SF. The base station may inform the wireless device of information on the first threshold value and the second threshold value.
- the wireless device may transmit the PUSCH without additional LBT during the remaining maximum occupancy time (MCOT) from the start SF within the SPS window to the end of the next SF. Even if the MCOT is left, the PUSCH can be transmitted only to the next SF.
- MCOT refers to the time (or number of SFs) that a wireless device can continuously transmit without additional LBT after confirming that the channel is idle once through the LBT operation.
- reference HARQid In each SPS window, reference HARQid (reference HARQid) is defined.
- the RHARQid may be a HARQid applied to the first SF of the SPS window.
- the RHARQid may be a HARQid applied to the first SF to which the PUSCH is transmitted.
- Increasing / decreasing HARQid may mean that the HARQid value itself increases / decreases.
- HARQid is incremented / decremented when HARQid corresponding to the i-th element in the corresponding set is defined as HARQid (i), where i is increment / decrement And may refer to a corresponding HARQid.
- the increase / decrease interval of HARQid can mean the increase / decrease interval of i.
- the minimum / maximum HARQid value may mean a HARQid value corresponding to the first / last element in the set.
- the HARQid for PUSCH transmission can be defined as follows.
- M> 1
- P > 1.
- M> 1
- P > 1.
- a common RHARQid can be applied to all SPS windows.
- RHARQid 0 can be applied to all SPS windows.
- the wireless device may receive information about the RHARQid via the RRC message or the SPS DCI.
- RHARQid may increase sequentially under the limitation of the maximum number of HARQ processes. For example, if the maximum number of HARQ processes is 4, a RHARQid may be assigned in the order of 0, 1, 2, 3, 0, 1, and 2. 3 for 8 consecutive SPS windows.
- RHARQid may increase sequentially according to the reuse cycle.
- RHARQid is reset every HARQid recycle cycle. For example, if the SPS window period is 6 SF and the HARQid recycle period is 18, there are 3 SPS windows within the HARQid recycle period. For three SPS windows within the HARQid recycling period, RHARQid can be assigned in order of 0, 1, 2.
- Method 4 A combination of (Method 2) and (Method 3) described above can be applied. If the number of SPS windows in the HARQid recycle period is larger than the maximum number of HARQ processes, the number of HARQ processes is increased so as not to exceed the maximum number of HARQ processes. If the number of SPS windows in the HARQid recycle period is smaller than the maximum number of HARQ processes, the HARQid recycling period is increased based on the RHARQid.
- the next HARQid of the HARQid applied to the last SF of the previous SPS window may be the RHARQid of the next SPS window.
- the increase interval in which the RHARQid increases according to the SPS window can be defined as follows.
- the increment interval of RHARQid may be the number N of SFs included in the SPS window.
- the increase interval of the RHARQid may be the maximum number M of SFs within which the wireless device can transmit the PUSCH within the SPS window.
- N 4
- M 3
- HARQid has a range from 0 to 5.
- the number in ⁇ means the HARQid assigned to SFs in each SPS window.
- This method can be understood as a method of allocating HARQid in the HARQid set allocated to the SPS transmission by increasing each SF in the SPS window.
- This scheme can be understood as a scheme in which the HARQid of the first SF of the current SPS window is allocated based on the HARQid of the last SF of the previous SPS window.
- the increment interval of HARQid is 1, and the HARQid in the SPS can be increased to RHARQid + N-1.
- 5 shows an example of HARQ retransmission for SPS.
- the wireless device receives the retransmission DCI 510 after SPS Window 2.
- the HARQid of the PUSCH transmitted in the SPS window is not valid from the point in time when the SPS window including the same HARQid appears thereafter. Or, the HARQid of the PUSCH transmitted in the SPS window is not valid after the specific timing offset. If the HARQid is not valid, the wireless device does not perform HARQ retransmission or expect a retransmission DCI for retransmission.
- the HARQ for the PUSCH may not be valid after a predetermined time elapses.
- the HARQ for the PUSCH may not be valid from the point of time when the next SPS window appears after the PUSCH is transmitted in the specific SPS window.
- the HARQ for the PUSCH may not be valid after the timing offset after the PUSCH is transmitted in a specific SPS window.
- the wireless device when the wireless device receives the retransmission DCI for the HARQid allocated to the SPS window, it can be regarded as instructing retransmission for the most recently transmitted PUSCH with the same HARQID.
- the wireless device may consider retransmission DCI 510 to indicate retransmission of the PUSCH of SPS Window 2. This approach may be useful if the base station can reliably determine whether the wireless device has sent a PUSCH in the SPS window.
- the retransmission DCI may include window information regarding the SPS window to which the PUSCH requesting retransmission is sent.
- the window information may indicate a first SPS window or a second SPS window appearing before the timing offset of the retransmission DCI's transmission time or the retransmission DCI transmission time point (including HARQid indicated by the retransmission DCI at the same time).
- Window information within the retransmission DCI can be implemented as follows.
- - Window information is included in the retransmission DCI as an independent field.
- Window information is represented by the CRC mask sequence or scrambling sequence of the retransmission DCI.
- Window information can be represented by reusing other fields in the retransmission DCI.
- window information can be represented using fixed fields with specific values.
- HARQ process number, and 2-stage PUSCH grant PUSCH trigger type A, PUSCH trigger type B, etc.
- the window information can be represented using a field not used in the SPS DCI.
- Window information may be indicated along with information indicating that the retransmission DCI is scheduling for the initial transmission or retransmission of the SPS PUSCH.
- the 2-bit field includes 'SPS PUSCH initial transmission', 'retransmission for the first SPS window before the retransmission DCI', 'retransmission for the second SPS window before the retransmission DCI', 'retransmission for the third SPS window before the retransmission DCI' Lt; / RTI >
- the wireless device may not transmit a PUSCH with the same HARQid in the SPS window indicated by the retransmission DCI. Alternatively, there may be a discrepancy between the scheduling indicated by the retransmission DCI and the PUSCH transmission even though the wireless device has transmitted the PUSCH.
- the wireless device can notify the base station of the error through PUSCH transmission. More specifically, the wireless device can notify the BS of the error by transmitting only the BSR (buffer status report) on the PUSCH scheduled by the retransmission DCI.
- the window information is included in the PUSCH for retransmission of the SPS, and can inform the BS of the retransmission PUSCH corresponding to the retransmission for an SPS window.
- Window information may be inserted in the form of UCI (uplink control information) in a part of the transmission region for PUSCH data.
- Window information can be represented as a masking sequence of CRC for DM-RS, DM-RS transmitted with PUSCH, orthogonal cover code (OCC) for SCH, scrambling sequence for PUSCH, or PUSCH data.
- a plurality of SPS settings may be given to each wireless device.
- the above-described HARQid allocation scheme can be commonly applied to a plurality of SPS settings.
- the above-described HARQid allocation scheme can be individually applied to each SPS window of each SPS setup.
- the HARQid previously allocated to the SPS window can be applied to SPS transmission and retransmission. If many HARQids are allocated to the SPS window, the number of HARQids available for HARQ for the dynamic scheduling is reduced, and the degree of freedom of dynamic scheduling may be reduced. However, ambiguity may occur if the same HARQid is simultaneously allocated to the SPS transmission and the dynamic scheduling transmission. The following schemes are proposed to avoid HARQid collision.
- the wireless device upon receiving the DCI for dynamic scheduling to which the HARQ id allocated to the SPS window is applied before the SPS window, performs the PUSCH transmission according to the dynamic scheduling and does not perform the SPS transmission for the corresponding HARQid in the SPS window.
- the DCI for dynamic scheduling may include a value of a validity timer indicating the time at which UL scheduling is valid. While the validity timer is operating, the wireless device may not perform the SPS transmission having the same HARQ id as the HARQid of the DCI for dynamic scheduling.
- the above embodiment can be applied to a scheme in which HARQids are allocated in advance in the SPS window or a wireless device can arbitrarily select a HARQ id and transmit a PUSCH.
- the wireless device can select HARQid for SPS transmission and use it. Retransmission can be performed as well as initial transmission on the PUSCH in a specific SF in the SPS window. At this time, the wireless device can transmit the additional information along with the initial / retransmission UL data on the PUSCH.
- the additional information may include at least one of an identifier of a wireless device, a HARQid, a redundancy version (RV), a new data indicator (NDI), and the number of SFs to which a PUSCH is to be transmitted.
- the base station can recognize that the PUSCH received in the remaining SF is transmitted by the same radio equipment.
- Method 2 HARQid is transmitted in the first SF and HARQid is not transmitted in the remaining SF.
- the base station can obtain the HARQid of the PUSCH transmitted through the continuous SF based on the HARQid of the PUSCH transmitted in the first SF. For example, it can be assumed that HARQid increases to a specific value (e.g., 1) for each subsequent SF. Considering that the BS may miss the PUSCH in the first SF, HARQid may be transmitted in the last SF and HARQid may not be transmitted in the remaining SF.
- the RV is transmitted in the first SF and the RV is not transmitted in the remaining SF. It can be assumed that the RV of the PUSCH transmitted through the remaining consecutive SFs is equal to the RV of the PUSCH transmitted in the first SF. Considering that the BS may miss the PUSCH reception in the first SF, it may transmit the RV in the last SF and not the RV in the remaining SF.
- Method 4 In the first SF, the number of SF to which the PUSCH is to be transmitted can be informed.
- the wireless device can transmit the number of SFs to which the PUSCH is to be transmitted in the first SF (or the last SF, or all the SFs) transmitting the PUSCH.
- the SF to which the additional information is transmitted can be limited to the SF to which the PUSCH is transmitted using all the OFDM symbols or to the SF to which the PUSCH is transmitted using a larger number of OFDM symbols than the predetermined number (e.g., 13 or 12).
- the base station can transmit an HARQ ACK indicating the success of reception on the DL channel.
- the HARQ ACK may be included in the DCI and transmitted on the PDCCH.
- the wireless device may receive configuration information including an RNTI used for monitoring a PDCCH carrying an HARQ ACK from the base station and / or a HARQid corresponding to a HARQ-ACK.
- the setting information may be received through an RRC message.
- the wireless device is configured to allow SPS transmissions over N HARQids.
- the location of the bit field of the HARQ-ACK corresponding to the smallest HARQ-ID among the plurality of HARQ-ACKs in the DCI may be included in the setting information.
- the position of the bit field can be sequentially determined in the order of increasing HARQids.
- a field may also be constructed for RV (and NDI) in a format consistent with HARQ-ACK feedback.
- the bit field position may refer to a position in an encoder for joint-coding a plurality of HARQ-ACKs (or RV, NDI).
- the wireless device may receive configuration information including an RNTI used for monitoring a PDCCH carrying an HARQ ACK from a base station.
- the setting information may be received through an RRC message.
- the DCI may include a HARQ-ACK and a corresponding HARQID.
- the DCI may include at least one HARQid field and an HARQ-ACK corresponding to each HARQid. If one DCI includes a plurality of HARQ-ACKs for a plurality of radio devices, the position of a field that each radio device in the DCI should check is given.
- the HARQ-ACK may indicate a tri-state including ACK or NACK or DTX.
- the ACK indicates successful reception, the NACK indicates that reception has occurred but an error has occurred, and the DTX indicates reception failure.
- the DTX state can be expressed using a specific RV value (eg RV, RV1 not including systematic information) or a specific NDI value (eg NDI indicating retransmission).
- the PUSCH retransmission can be performed in the i + Kth SPS SF.
- K > 1.
- K 4 or the K value can be set by the base station.
