La présente invention concerne un kayak à système de pédales assistées par moteur électrique, constitué d'une coque, d'une hélice, d'un système de pédales et d'un gouvernail, caractérisé en ce que l'hélice est actionnée au moyen de pédales reliées à un engrenage lui-même actionné par un moteur électrique situé sur l'axe des pédales. Le moteur est associé à un capteur de vitesse et aimant situé entre les pédales et l'axe des pédales, un contrôleur de puissance ; un accélérateur manuel ; une unité de commande avec son raccord de fixation respectif, où sont connectés à la fois le moteur et la commande de puissance ; et des câbles pour le capteur et l'accélérateur qui sont connectés à une batterie.
