Description

DESCRIPTION
FAST FOOD BOX WITH SAUCE CHAMBER
The Related Art The invention relates to fast food boxes for quickly placing and consuming French fries/chips, fried chicken, crisps etc. fast food products, which are commonly consumed and also known by consumers as convenience foods.
The invention particularly relates to fast food boxes having sauce sections in which sauces to be consumed together with fast foods such as chips, fried chicken, etc.
The Prior Art
Nowadays, consumers prefer Drive-Thru restaurants that provide quick service, especially when they are racing against time. Especially, large fast food chains such as McDonalds serve their menus to cars. Sauces to be eaten together with the fried potato found in the menu are provided in a separate bag or container.
In the prior art, while the customer eats his/her food in a car, he/she cannot find a regular place to put the sauces. Therefore, difficulty is encountered in using sauces and the hands or the vehicle of the customer get(s) dirty.
In the known status of the art, providing sauces in a different chamber, bag etc. packaging would cause loss of time for opening thereof. Even though this might seem like a small amount of time, it would be beneficial to take into account in todays world where people race against time.
In the known status of the art, extra packaging occurs as waste after consumption, which damages the environment.
As a result of the literature research, various embodiments about said fast food packaging are found. One of these is the utility model with Application No. TR2015/13132, entitled "Disposable Promotion Food, Beverage Packaging". In the abstract of the invention, it is disclosed that: "The invention relates to disposable promotion food beverage packaging for use in mobile shops, buffets, entertainment areas, and other food sectors, for popcorn, fried potatoes, and other food products to be consumed quickly, in disposable food and beverage packaging, and it is characterized in that; it consists of a packaging box, a gift area, and a gift scratching area." In said application, a single section box is designed, in which fast food is placed.
In the USA application No. US59381 10A, an open-top box is disclosed, which is designed for fast food applications such as potato chips, hamburger etc. The technical solution provided here is to use two of the said boxes and to obtain a completely enclosed box by bringing the open parts together reciprocally and with the clamping system provided. Thus, the package service has been facilitated and cost savings have been achieved by using the same boxes for both transportation and consumption.
The above-mentioned applications are illustrative of the disadvantages mentioned above, since there is no compartment for the sauces to be used during fast food consumption.
As a result, improvement is to be made in parallel with the developing technology in fast food boxes, and therefore novel embodiments that would eliminate the above said drawbacks and bring solutions to the problems of the prior art systems are needed.
Purpose of the Invention
The present invention relates to a fast food box that is different from the state of the art embodiments, developed with the purpose of solving said drawbacks and bringing some other advantages.
The purpose of the invention is to provide a fast food consumption box allowing easy consumption of ketchup, mayonnaise etc. sauces needed in fast food applications of potato chips, fried chicken etc.
Another purpose of the invention is to allow quick consumption of sauces to be used together with fast food, by placing them in the same box.
Another purpose of the invention is to eliminate the need for another box for placing the sauces, except the fast food box. In this way, the sauce will be prevented from being poured around during use of sauce. Moreover, while opening the sauce box, it would not get the hands of the user dirty.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide a hygienic environment during food consumption. In order to achieve the above said purposes, a fast food box is developed for serving fried potato, chicken etc. foods for quick consumption, comprising a fast food section, in which fast food is placed, and which is formed of a front surface, wings, a lower base, and a rear surface; and a sauce section, in which sauces to be consumed beside the fast food are placed.

Detailed Description of an Example of the Invention Structure principle;
Said fast food box (1 ) consists of a fast food section (10) and a sauce section (20).
The fast food section (10) consists of a front surface (1 1 ), wings (12), a lower base (13), and a rear surface (14), and it is the section where the main fast food to be served is placed. Said front surface (1 1 ), lower base (13), and rear surface (14) are the walls of a section having a volume of empty space within the walls. The wings (12) allow the rear surface (14) and the front surface (1 1 ) to be connected to each other via adhering method. The wings (12) are curled parts at the right and left hand sides of the front surface (1 1 ) and they are manufactured together with the front surface (1 1 ). The lower base (13) is the part that forms the base of the fast food section (10) and it is also manufactured together with the front surface (1 1 ). The last part forming the fast food section (10) is the rear surface (14). It is manufactured in connection with the lower base (13). The open state of said front surface (1 1 ), wings (12), lower base (13), and rear surface (14) is given clearly in Figures 1 and 2.
The sauce section (20) according to the invention consists of a sauce chamber upper surface (21 ), a cover (22), a sauce chamber rear surface (23), a sauce chamber lower surface (24), and support surfaces (25).
Said sauce chamber upper surface (21 ) forms the upper surface of the sauce section (20). Reciprocal covers (22) positioned symmetrically are found at the sauce chamber upper surface (21 ). The covers (22) allow the upper part of the sauce section (20) to be closed and have a collapsible structure. Figure 4 shows the movement of the covers (22) in cover opening direction (D).
Cover tabs (221 ) are found at the tip parts of said covers (22). The cover tabs (221 ) allow the covers (22) to be connected to the sauce chamber lower surface (24). The cover tabs (221 ) are connected to the sauce chamber lower surface (24) by means of channels (241 ). Figures 3 and 4 show the channels (241 ). Said sauce chamber rear surface (24) forms the rear surface of the sauce section (20). The sauce chamber lower surface (24) is the part that forms the base of the sauce section (20) and the sauces are placed thereon. Mounting/Production principle;
All the parts of the fast food box (1 ) with sauce chamber according to the invention are produced integrally and made of the same material. The final state of the fast food box (1 ) is obtained by twisting the material at certain places and adhering at parts that correspond to each other.
First of all, the rear surface (14) and the front surface (1 1 ) of the fast food box (1 ) shown in open state in Figure 1 are moved in the front surface folding direction (A) as shown in Figure 2 and brought across each other.
Afterwards, the wings (12) found on the front surface (1 1 ) are twisted towards the rear surface (14) and adhered there. In Figure 3, this movement is shown together with the wing folding direction (B).
With this operation, the installation of the fast food section (10) with closed four sides and base is made together with the lower base (13), rear surface (14), front surface (1 1 ), and wings (12). (Fig. 4)
For installation of the sauce section (20), the support surface (25) is held and pulled towards the sauce chamber folding direction (C) and leaned against the rear surface (14). After leaning against, it is adhered and fixed there. When this operation is made, the sauce chamber upper surface (21 ) is found at the top; the sauce chamber rear surface (23) is found at the side and in parallel to the rear surface (14); and the sauce chamber lower surface (24) forms the base. The sauce section (20) is configured at the back surface (141 ) of the rear surface (14), and comprises at least one positioning area (26) with a rectangular convex structure and twisted outward. The rectangular convex structure is twisted outward or have a folded structure.
Operating principle; Covers (22) are found on said sauce chamber upper surface (21 ). Cover tabs (221 ) are found at the tip of said covers (22). The covers (22) are pressed towards the sauce chamber lower surface (24) in cover opening direction (D) and thus inserted in the sauce section (20). Figure 4 shows the cover opening direction (D) in detail. Afterwards, the cover tabs (221 ) found at the tips of the covers (22) are attached to the channels (241 ) found at the sauce chamber lower surface (24) for fixing the covers (22). Following this operation, the covers (22) would be positioned such that they are twisted towards the ground and are parallel to each other. In this way, the sauce section (20) with the covers (22), the rear surface (14), the sauce chamber rear surface (23), and the sauce chamber lower surface (24) is formed. Figure 5 is a perspective view of the sauce section (20) that is ready for use.
Sauces to be consumed beside the fast food placed in the fast food section (10) are poured in the sauce section (20), the operating principle of which is described above, and served to customers in this form.
