Abstract

A pocket tape device comprising a main part (2), a preservative cape (5), an upper fixed part (3) which is fixed in the form of coverage frame on the said main part (2) and said preservative cape (5) by screws (12, 13), a movable bottom part (4) being located by a cylindrical part (7), a screw (8); said preservative cape (5) includes a button (6), blade (9), spring (10), torsion spring (11), screw (14) such that the pressing the button enables of functioning of cutting by blade and torsion spring (11) is located from one side of the inner part of preservative cape (5) and on the other side above a support rod (15) which helps to holding the tape band to have a feature of pressurizing back of the tape band.

[1] [A small device with easy-to-use adhesive tapes on various levels of paper, wood, glass, metal and plastic.

[3] It is essential for office, home and industrial use in the field of mechanical and it is used in industries for packaging purposes.
[4] The first tape cover or tape device in the world was made by m3 company in the year 1952 which was called scotch tape dispenser. The scotch trading company manufactured various tapes covers for different tapes though the functions of all them were same.
[5] The tape cover is a device used for cutting the tape that holds the outer part or the ring of the tape and consists of mechanism at one side of the ring of the tape that rotates and on the other side consists of a blade that cuts it.
The philosophy of creating a device for the tape is that first the tape is manufactured and after its use, it is stated that there should be a device so as to cut it in to smaller pieces. The tape cover or the device has a lot of uses that in every houses, offices can be seen. And also in various sizes and different colors designed and manufactured.
[6] Till now the devise used for applying the tape is invented and available in the market. The following description from no.7 to no.9 is given:
[7] In the form of a base of the tape that is placed on table with different colors and sizes and the same method of application. It is stated that a new designed invention (Easy dispenser pocket adhesive tape device) its picture, size and application is completely different.

that I`ve performed except this three points I`ve stated that is completely different with this design of invention till now nothing of this kind in country and abroad similar invention with this size, shape and application is found or available in the market.

[12] The problem of carrying the old applying device for example in the pocket or bag. Because of its dimension and designed shape and its application it was un comfortable and could not be carried for the application of applying the tape.
[13] The contact of the hand with the sticky parts of the old tape devices because of its design, shape and application.
[14] Lack of incapability of performing pasting operations together (at a time) with older devices at location of the target surface because of its shape, design and application.
[15] Collision of hand with blade and Possibility of the hand getting injured and cut in old devices because of the placement of the cutting blade of the tape band outside the device without safety frame (Safety shield).
[16] There is a problem and wastes of the tape band in old devices during operation of pasting by using hands for holding it, for dragging tape and for cutting a piece from the tape band by using evaluation and comparison of mind and eyes between the tape drawn and the target to be used. And the required tape drawn from the tape band cover and also during using of tape on surfaces it may roll and stick on hands, become destroys and sometimes extra tape may be drawn from the cover.
[17] There is a low speed in using tapes on target surfaces because of its designed shape and its application; it took a lot of time in old devices.
[18] There was less quantity and quality of using tapes in old devices on target surfaces during application because of the use of direct human hand.
[19] The new tape device with suitable ergonomic design, less weight, shape and dimension that fits in hand should be made. So there would be ability of transferring it anywhere being available and carried easily.

[28] In this new device due to its small dimension (6.5 cm* 6.5 cm* 2.5cm) ergonomic shape invented, has Less weight .130 net weight gram can completely and at the same time do the pasting operation on target surfaces just by using one hand.
[29] In this new device because of its design and having reversible cutting blade inside the preservative cape as a safety frame prevents cutting of hand when comes in contact with the blade.
[30] In this new device according to its design and method of application in pasting operation of new device is in such a way that by putting the starting point of tape band and the preservative cape on the right spot of the target surface the operation of pasting starts with drawing or pulling the device throughout the way till you reach the desired point and by pressing the button which is connected to the blade for cutting the tape at the desired point accurately and by this method it prevents the pulling or drawing excess tape.
[31] In this new device according to its working operation i.e. pasting on the target surfaces by the method of placing the device and drawing on the surface till the desired point is reached and cutting the tape just by pressing the button that is connected to the blade at the end of the point.

And its work is to hold the tape band and to Paste the tape on the surface and then cutting the tape by using the blade which is connected to the button that is inside it.

[42] The picture of the round spring part of the device is invented in the form of figure no.10 that is shown below (Refer to Fig. 10). The mentioned part the edge or tail of the blade no.9 of the device is passed from inside on the preservative cape part and located in front of the button no.6 so as to allow the blade to return to its position that is inside the preservative cape no.5 after the work of cutting the tape is done.
[43] The picture of the torsion spring part device is invented in the form of figure no.11 that is shown below (Refer to Fig. 11). The mentioned part is made in such a way that it is located from one side of inner part of preservative cape no 5 and on the other side above the support rod no.15 so that it is installed in its place by passing the screw no.12 from inside of the torsion ring. It performs the function of pressing the preservative cape part no.5 to hold the tape band and prevent it from moving backward. And also have feature of pressurizing back of the tape band for pasting tape during operation.
[44] The picture of machine screw part with thread head device invented in the form of figure no.12 shown below (Refer to Fig. 12). For connecting the parts no.2, 3,5,11 and they function together.
[45] The picture of metal screw device invented in the form of figure no.13 (Refer to Fig. 13) that is shown below in the form of Phillip head screw which is used for connecting part no.3 to 2 that function together.

[47] The picture of the support rod part device is invented in the form of figure no.15 which is shown below (Refer to Fig. 15). The mentioned part is made in such a way that from the head is inside the main part no.2 as fixed during placement of part no.3 on the main part no.2 and is located inside part no.3. As it is seen its work is to hold one side of the torsion spring part no.11 as a support.
[48] The pocket tape device that is designed and invented is a mechanical device that by putting the tape inside it creates the function of pasting by the use of one hand on the target surface (keeping the tape band and preservative cape part device on the target surface, pulling it backward till the desired point is reached and cutting the tape. by just pressing the button that is connected to the blade at the end of desired point.) [49] For making new device following things are needed. Plastic injection and performing operation for producing and manufacturing in the form of a frame part device. (main Frame no.2, upper fixed part no.3, bottom portable part no.4, Preservative cape part no 5, button part no.6, cylinder shape part no.7, metal screw part no 8, Producing and making device blade no.9, producing and making of pressure round screw no.10, torsion screw no.11, producing and making thread screw no.12, Producing and making of iron screw no.13, producing and making iron screw no.14 and producing and making of support rod no.15).
[50] For making new parts of device the following things are needed from no.51 to no.55 to complete the tape band device and be ready for Pasting.
[51] Placing upper fixed part no.4 on the main part no.2 by using iron screw no 13, Connection Parts. (blade no.9, Pressure round spring no.10, and iron screw no.14) on button part no.6 i.e. inside the Preservative cape no.5 and also connection of torsion spring part no.11 at the back of preservative cape no5, and installation of all these parts between main part no.2 and upper fixed part no.3 by using screw no.12. to complete the upper part of the pocket tape device.
[52] Placement of cylinder shape part no.7on the main Part no.2.
[53] Placement of ring of the tape inside the main part no.2 and cylinder shape part no.7.
[54] Holding and drawing tape band for placing it under Preservative cape part no.5.
[55] Placement of bottom movable Part no.4 on the main part no.2 with screw part no8.
[56] The Components of pocket tape device is described and made, the function of the Parts following from no.57 to 70 is discussed.
[57] The main part no.2 which is the real part of the device that the ring of the tape and all the Parts such as (upper fixed, bottom movable part, preservative cape part and other Parts) somehow is installed on it. Till the pocket tape device is complete and ready
[58] The upper fixed part no.3 in the form of Coverage frame on the Preservative cape pas no.5 and main part no.2 with screw no 12 and13 closed and fixed in its Place. So that the Preservative Cape with support on the main frame perform the function and also the tape band is guarded while opening so that it doesn`t move.
[59] The bottom portable part no.4 is in the form of safety coverage frame and located on the main part no.2 and part no.7 and below upper fixed Part no.3. And this Part during placement, the tape band opens and after the Placement the tape band returns back in its Place. And by closing the screw no 8 in its place becomes firm. And cause the ring of the tape band not to move from its place that is inside the device.
[60] The Preservative cape part no 5 including other parts such as button no6, blade no.9, spring no 10, Spring no11, screw no.14 that is installed on the main part and upper fixes part and its work is to hold the tape band, Paste the tape on the target surface and cutting the tape with the blade by the button that is inside it.
[61] The button part no 6 is invented and made in such a way that it is Located inside the Preservative Cape no.5 and on it consists blade no.9, spring no 10 and closed by screws no.14. So by pressing the button connected to the blade the function of cutting the tape is performed.
When desires point is reached and with spring no.10 the blade returns back in the Preservative cape so as to prevent the injury of hand.
[62] The cylinder shape part no.7 as seen it is designed as cylinder so that it is Located in the Center of the main Frameno.2 and empty space of the ring of the tap and daring drawing tape bond and pasting, the ring of the tape rotates on it and opening of the tape occurs easily.
[63] The screw part no 8 in fact is an iron that us connected from the head of the screw to a plastic cylinder part so the function of opening and closing occurs easily by using one hand without using screw driver its work is closing the bottom movable part no.4 on the main part no.2.
[64] The blade part is invented in such a way that by Passing the blade from the inside the round spring Pressure no 10 that is located inside the button no. 6 and it is closes by iron screws no.14 from inside.
[65] The Pressure round spring no.10 is invented in such a way that by passing the blade no 9 of the device from inside, inside of preservative cape that is located in front of the button no.6 so as to perform the function of returning hack the blade inside the preservative cape no.5 after the end of cutting the tape.
[66] The torsion spring part no.11 is invented in such a way that from one side of the preservative cape no.5 and other side it is located above the support rod no.15.so passing the screw no 12 from inside the ring of the torsion to install in its Position. And its function is to Press the preservative Cope no 5for holding the tape band (Prevent it from moving backward) and also have a feature of pressure behind the tape band that is used for pasting it on the target surface in the pasting operation.
[67] The machine screw part which is thread head no.12 is made in such a way that it connects partsno.2, 3, 5 and 11 that function together.
[68] The metal screws part no.12 is made in such a way that it is in the form of Phillip head screw driver and for connecting part 3 to 2 that function together.
[69] The metal screw part is made in such a way that it is in the form of Phillip head screw driver and for connecting button Part no.6 with blade no.9 which function together.
[70] The support rod Part no.15 is made in such a way that from the head it's Located inside the main part no.2 as fixed and from the Peak area during placement of part no.3 on the main part no.2. It is located inside Part no.3 and visible it's work is to hold one side of the torsion Spring part no.11 as a support.
[71] Performing the work of Pasting Paper, with paper, Nylon with Nylon and Nylon with Paper.
[72] Performing the work of pasting part of torn money bill, paper material and plastic with each other.
[73] Performing the work of pasting paper material and plastic and everything with capability of sticking with surface and wall.

Claims (15)

  1. Easy apply pocket tape device is designed and invented in such a way the function of pasting the tape from its position that is on table by the use of direct hand (putting the tape, holding the tape band, drawing it and cutting and transferring it and pasting) is deleted. It`s in the form of mechanism like putting the tape band inside the device and preservative cape device on the surface where it is to be pasted, drawing the device till the desired point is reached on the surface and by pressing the button that is connected to the blade, the function of pasting is completed and ends here. And this device is formed and made and described from Claim 2 till Claim 15.
  2. The main part no 2 of the device consists of the empty space that the tape band and all fixed upper parts, bottom portable parts, preservative cape port and other parts are installed on it. To complete the tape device and be ready.
  3. The upper fixed part no 3 in the form of coverage frame on the preservative cape part no.5 and main part no. 2 with screw no 12 and 13 is tightened and is fixed in its place. So that the preservative part is supported on it and the main frame does the functioning and also in the path of opening of the functioning and also in the path of opening of the tape band it guards and supports it so that it doesn`t move.
  4. The movable bottom part no 4 in the form of safety coverage frame is located on the main part no 2 part no 7 and below the fixed upper part no 3. And this part opens while inserting the tape band and after that it returns back to its position and by closing screw no 8 it becomes firm and prevents the tape band of coming out of the device.
  5. The preservative cape part no 5 including other parts such as button no 6, blade no 9, spring no 10, spring no 11, screw no 14, which installed on the main part and fixed upper part by screw no 12 and its work is to hold the tape band and pasting the tape on the target surface and cutting of the tape band is done by the blade with the button that is connected to it.
  6. The button part no 6 is designed and invented in such a way that it is located inside the preservative cape part no 5 and on the blade no 9, spring no 10 and closed by screw no 14. By pressing the button that is connected to the blade
    function of cutting starts at the desired point and by spring no 10. The blade returns to its usual position that is inside the preservative cape so as to prevent the injury of hand.
  7. The cylinder shape part no 7 as it is seen by its name is designed in the form of cylinder so that it is located in the center main frame no2 and empty space of the ring of the tape band and during drawing the tape band and pasting, the ring of the tape band rotates on it and the function of opening of the tape occurs easily.
  8. The screw no 8 which is an iron screw is connected to the plastic cylinder from the side of the head of screw so that the opening and closing take place easily with hand without the use of screw driver. Its work is closing of the bottom portable part no 4 on the main part no.2
  9. The blade part no 9 is designed in such a way that by passing the blade from inside, inside of pressure round spring part no 10 is located inside the button no 6.by the iron screw no 14 which is screwed inside it. And its work is to cut the tape band by pressing the button forward.
  10. The round spring part no 10 is invented in such a way that the blade no 9 is passed from of the preservative cape and located in front of button no 6 so that it performs the returning of the blade in the preservative cape no 5 after the end of cutting of the tape.
  11. The torsion spring part no 11 is invented in such a way that it is located from one side of inner part of preservative cape no 5 and on the other side above the support rod no 15. And by passing screw no 12 inside the ring of the torsion and installed in its placed. And its work is pushing the preservative cape part no 5. To hold the tape band (prevent the movement) and have a feature of pressurizing back of the tape band for pasting on the target surface in pasting operation.
  12. The machine screw part with thread head no 12 is invented in such a way that it is used for connecting parts no 2, 3,5,11 that function together.
  13. The metal screw part no 12 is invented in such a way that it is in form of phillip head screw and used for connecting parts no 3 to 2 that function together.
  14. The metal screw Part no 14 is invented in such a way that it is in the form of phillip head screw and used for connecting button part no 6 to the blads part no 9.That function together.
  15. The part rod that is the support port no 15 is invented in such a way that from the side of the head is inserted fix in the main part no 3 and from the peak area at the time of placement part no 3 on the main part 2. That is located inside part no 3. As it is seen by its name it holds one side of torsion spring part no 11 that is a support.
