本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法。
有机发光二极管显示器件(Organic Light Emitting Display,OLED)由于同时具备自发光,不需背光源、对比度高、厚度薄、视角广、反应速度快、可用于挠曲性面板、使用温度范围广、构造及制程较简单等优异特性,被认为是下一代平面显示器的新兴应用技术。
OLED显示装置通常包括:基板、设于基板上的阳极、设于阳极上的有机发光层,设于有机发光层上的电子传输层、及设于电子传输层上的阴极。工作时向有机发光层发射来自阳极的空穴和来自阴极的电子,将这些电子和空穴组合产生激发性电子-空穴对,并将激发性电子-空穴对从受激态转换为基态实现发光。
目前在平面显示面板生产过程中由于生产工艺等原因经常会产生Mura(亮度不均匀),出现亮点或暗点,导致面板的显示品质降低。为了消除OLED显示器Mura,现有技术通常采用补偿表来存储OLED显示器中各像素的补偿信息。放映影像时,驱动板查找补偿表,调整信号,将面板过暗区域的信号调高,过亮区域的信号调低,呈现均匀的显示效果。在补偿表中,每个像素对应于一组补偿信息,每组补偿信息包含一个或多个补偿数据。补偿数据的物理意义视算法而定,通常为特定灰阶的调整值或局域伽马值,也有算法将其设定为待调整的电压值。
在现有技术中,补偿表的大小等于像素数目乘以每组补偿信息的大小,举例来讲,若要补偿4k2k的OLED显示面板(像素列数为3840,像素行数为2160),假设每组补偿信息的大小为24bit,颜色数目为红绿蓝三色,则补偿表所占用的存储空间为2160*3840*24bit*3≈597Mb。补偿表占用大量系统存储空间,并且在生产线上传输、烧录数据的过程耗费大量时间,降低了OLED显示器的运行速度和生产效率。
为了减小补偿表的大小,降低补偿表占用的系统存储空间,现有技术会将补偿表各个子像素的数据进行压缩处理之后再进行存储,但无论是直接存储补偿表,或分别压缩各子像素的数据之后再存储的补偿表,都没有
考虑到对于不同颜色且相同坐标的子像素,Mura之间存在相似性和相关性,补偿表中都存在数据冗余,压缩率较低。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,能够减少补偿表占用的系统存储空间,缩短生产线上传输、烧录数据的时间。

所述校准表的行数和列数与所述基准表的行数和列数相同;所述至少一张校准表的信息熵的和小于第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵。
可选地,在本发明的第一实施例中,所述步骤S2中根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出两张校准表,该两张校准表分别为第一校准表、及第二校准表。
进一步地,所述步骤S2中预设的补偿表转换公式为:
C(i,j)=B(i,j)/A(i,j)×10;
D(i,j)=B(i,j)-C(i,j)×A(i,j)/10;
其中,C(i,j)为第一校准表中第i行第j列的数,D(i,j)为第二校准表中第i行第j列的数,B(i,j)为第二子像素的补偿表中第i行第j
列的数,A(i,j)为第一子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,i、j均为正整数。
进一步地,在本发明的第一实施例中,所述步骤S2中第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数,具体可通过四舍五入的方法将第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数。可选地,在本发明的第二实施例中,所述步骤S2根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出一张校准表,该一张校准表为第三校准表。
进一步地,所述步骤S2中预设的补偿表转换公式为:
E(i,j)=A(i,j)-B(i,j);
其中,E(i,j)为第三校准表中第i行第j列的数,B(i,j)为第二子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,A(i,j)为第一子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,i、j均为正整数。
当然,所述预设的补偿表转换公式并不限于上述第一和第二实施例中的公式,其他合适的公式也可以适用于本发明,只要保证计算后得到的至少一张校准表的信息熵的和小于第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵即可。
步骤S3、对所述基准表、以及校准表进行压缩处理,并存储压缩后的基准表、以及校准表。
优选地,所述步骤S3中压缩处理的方法可以为:算法编码压缩、或游程编码压缩,当然所述步骤S3中压缩处理的方法并不限于此,其他能够达到压缩处理效果的方法同样适用于本发明。
举例来讲,首先获取第一子像素和第二子像素的补偿表,分别如表1和表2所示;

接着,设定第一子像素的补偿表为基准表,根据第一实施例中提供的补偿表转换公式求出第一校准表和第二校准表,如表3和表4所示;

最后,对所述基准表、第一校准表、第二校准表进行压缩处理,并保存基准表、第一校准表和第二校准表。
经计算,表2所示的第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵为6.3,预估压缩率为6.3÷8×100%≈79%;表3所示第一校准表的信息熵为0.8,预估压缩率为0.8÷8×100%≈1%;表4所示第二校准表的信息熵为3.5,预估压缩率为3.5÷8×100%≈44%,第一校准表和第二校准表的预估压缩率之和小于第二子像素的补偿表的预估压缩率,可见本发明通过校准表替代第二子像素的补偿表的方法相比于现有技术中直接存储第二子像素的补偿表的方法,能够获得更佳的压缩率、更小的数据量,减少补偿表占用的系统存储空间,缩短生产线上传输、烧录数据的时间。
一般来讲,一个OLED显示装置通常包括:红色子像素、绿色子像素、以及蓝色子像素三种颜色的子像素,每一种颜色的子像素对应一补偿表,利用本发明的方法保存该OLED显示装的补偿表时,可通过设定其中一种颜色的补偿表为基准表,再根据补偿表转换公式求出其他两种颜色的补偿表对应的至少一张校准表,最后压缩并存储一张基准表和至少两张校准表,即可完整保存该OLED显示装置中三种颜色的子像素对应的三个补偿表,并且可通过保存基准表和校准表时采用的补偿表转换公式的逆运算对原补偿表进行还原。
综上所述,本发明提供一种OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,通过获取第一和第二子像素的补偿表,并将第一子像素的补偿表设定为基准表,再根据第一和第二子像素的补偿表以及预设的补偿表转换公式求出校准表,并保证校准表的信息熵的和小于第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵,最后保存压缩后的基准表、校准表,能够在压缩前去除不同子像素的补偿表之间的相关性,从而在压缩后获得更佳的压缩率、更小的数据量,减少补偿表占用的系统存储空间,缩短生产线上传输、烧录数据的时间。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。
Claims (14)
- 一种OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,包括如下步骤:步骤S1、获取一OLED显示面板中第一子像素的补偿表和第二子像素的补偿表,定义第一子像素的补偿表为基准表;步骤S2、根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出至少一张校准表;所述校准表的行数和列数与所述基准表的行数和列数相同;所述至少一张校准表的信息熵的和小于第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵;步骤S3、对所述基准表、以及校准表进行压缩处理,并存储压缩后的基准表、以及校准表。
- 如权利要求1所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述第一子像素和第二子像素的颜色不同。
- 如权利要求2所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述第一子像素为红色、绿色、及蓝色子像素中的一种,所述第二子像素为红色、绿色、及蓝色子像素中不同于第一子像素的另一种。
- 如权利要求1所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S3中压缩处理的方法为:算法编码压缩、或游程编码压缩。
- 如权利要求1所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出两张校准表,该两张校准表分别为第一校准表、及第二校准表。
- 如权利要求5所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中预设的补偿表转换公式为:C(i,j)=B(i,j)/A(i,j)×10;D(i,j)=B(i,j)-C(i,j)×A(i,j)/10;其中,C(i,j)为第一校准表中第i行第j列的数,D(i,j)为第二校准表中第i行第j列的数,B(i,j)为第二子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,A(i,j)为第一子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,i、j均为正整数。
- 如权利要求1所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出一张校准表,该一张校准表为第三校准表。
- 如权利要求7所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中预设的补偿表转换公式为:E(i,j)=A(i,j)-B(i,j);其中,E(i,j)为第三校准表中第i行第j列的数,B(i,j)为第二子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,A(i,j)为第一子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,i、j均为正整数。
- 如权利要求6所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数。
- 如权利要求9所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中采用四舍五入的方法将第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数。
- 一种OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,包括如下步骤:步骤S1、获取一OLED显示面板中第一子像素的补偿表和第二子像素的补偿表,定义第一子像素的补偿表为基准表;步骤S2、根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出至少一张校准表;所述校准表的行数和列数与所述基准表的行数和列数相同;所述至少一张校准表的信息熵的和小于第二子像素的补偿表的信息熵;步骤S3、对所述基准表、以及校准表进行压缩处理,并存储压缩后的基准表、以及校准表;其中,所述第一子像素和第二子像素的颜色不同;其中,所述步骤S3中压缩处理的方法为:算法编码压缩、或游程编码压缩;其中,所述步骤S2中根据第一子像素的补偿表、第二子像素的补偿表、以及预设的补偿表转换公式计算得出两张校准表,该两张校准表分别为第一校准表、及第二校准表;其中,所述步骤S2中预设的补偿表转换公式为:C(i,j)=B(i,j)/A(i,j)×10;D(i,j)=B(i,j)-C(i,j)×A(i,j)/10;其中,C(i,j)为第一校准表中第i行第j列的数,D(i,j)为第二校准表中第i行第j列的数,B(i,j)为第二子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,A(i,j)为第一子像素的补偿表中第i行第j列的数,i、j均为正整数。
- 如权利要求11所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中, 所述第一子像素为红色、绿色、及蓝色子像素中的一种,所述第二子像素为红色、绿色、及蓝色子像素中不同于第一子像素的另一种。
- 如权利要求11所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数。
- 如权利要求13所述的OLED显示面板的补偿表存储方法,其中,所述步骤S2中采用四舍五入的方法将第一校准表中的数的精度保留到个位数。
