Description

Insulator mounting clip for automobile
The present invention relates to an automobile insulator mounting clip used as a clip for mounting an insulator to a vehicle body panel, and in particular, by unifying two types of clips having different mounting structures into one, This is suitable for preventing mis-attachment due to mistakes and for facilitating inventory management.
Conventionally, an insulator made of felt or the like (hereinafter referred to as an “automobile”) is used as a sound insulation member for absorbing a noise generated from an engine, a tire or the like on a body panel of an automobile, in particular, a body panel that partitions an engine room and a vehicle interior. Is called “insulator”.
As a clip for attaching this type of automotive insulator to a vehicle body panel, for example, as in Patent Document 1, a clip of a type using a stat bolt (B) standing on a vehicle body panel (P), As in Patent Document 2, a clip of a type that uses an attachment hole (no symbol) provided in a vehicle body panel (P) is known.
However, conventionally, as described above, there are two types of clips (a type using a stat bolt and a type using an attachment hole) as a clip for attaching an automotive insulator to a vehicle body panel. For this reason, an automobile insulator should be attached with a clip of a type that uses a stat bolt, but a clip of a type that uses an attachment hole is selected by mistake and the attachment work is performed. There is a problem in that it is not easy to manage the inventory of clips, such as erroneous attachment is likely to occur and the inventory of two types of clips must be managed.

<Details of clip body and clip head>
In the clip CP of FIG. 1A, the overall shape of the clip body portion 1 is a cylindrical shape, and the overall shape of the clip head portion 2 is a disc shape. However, the shape is not limited to these shapes. It can be changed.
The inner space (cylindrical inner surface side) of the clip body portion 1 is used as a space into which the stud bolt SB is inserted. As means for ensuring that the stud bolt SB can be inserted into the inner space of the clip body part 1 while visually confirming it, the clip CP of FIG. (See FIG. 1B and FIG. 2).
Since the viewing window 21 has a structure that penetrates the front and back surfaces of the clip head 2 and communicates with the inner space of the clip body portion 1 as shown in FIG. 2, in the mounting clip CP of FIG. The stud bolt SB can be inserted while visually checking the tip of the stud bolt SB.
Since the clip head 2 is a part that is caught on and engaged with the edge surface of the through-hole H1 as described above, the through-hole H1 is formed in a shape protruding laterally from the outer peripheral surface of the clip body part 2. The structure is such that it cannot easily pass through.
《Details of inner nails》

As a specific configuration of the cantilever support beam 31, in the clip CP of FIG. 1A, the cantilever support beam 31 is formed by providing a U-shaped or U-shaped slit 32 in the clip body portion 1. Although the configuration is adopted, it is not limited to this. Further, the number of cantilever support beams 31 and the number of inner claws 3 can be appropriately changed as necessary.
《Details of outer nails》

Is adopted, and the blades 41, 42, 43 having such shapes are provided in three steps on the left and right outer peripheral surfaces of the clip body part 1, but the present invention is not limited to this. The number of steps of the outer claw 4 composed of the blades 41, 42, 43 as described above can be changed as appropriate, and a shape other than the blades 41, 42, 43 is adopted as the shape of the outer claw 4. Is also possible. Furthermore, the size of the blades 41, 42, 43 is not necessarily the same and may be different.

As shown in FIG. 1A, the stud bolt guide 5 has an umbrella shape spreading in an arc shape downward from the lower opening edge of the clip body portion 1, and the inner arc surface of the umbrella shape portion 51 is It is configured to function as the guide surface 5A. A shape other than the umbrella shape may be employed as the shape of the stud bolt guide 5.
The mounting hole guide 6 has a blade shape that curves inward downward from the hem 51A of the umbrella-shaped portion 51 described above, and the outer surface of the blade-shaped portion 61 functions as the guide surface 61A. It is configured.
In the clip CP of FIG. 1A, as a specific configuration of the mounting hole guide 6, a configuration in which the blade-shaped portion 61 is arranged in a cross shape around the clip body portion 1 as shown in FIG. However, it is not limited to this. The arrangement | positioning form and arrangement number of the blade | wing shape part 61 can be suitably changed as needed.
<Clip usage instructions>
The clip CP in FIG. 1A includes a first mounting example (see FIG. 4) for mounting the insulator IS to the vehicle body panel BP using the stud bolt SB of the vehicle body panel BP, and a mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP. It is possible to flexibly cope with both of the second mounting examples (see FIG. 5) in which the insulator IS is mounted on the vehicle body panel BP by utilizing the insulator IS.
In both the first and second mounting examples, the following description is based on the assumption that the insulator IS is provided with a through-hole H1 penetrating the front and back surfaces. Explain the work.
<< About the first installation example >>
In the first mounting example, that is, when the insulator IS is attached to the vehicle body panel BP using the stud bolt SB of the vehicle body panel BP, the insulator IS is first set on the vehicle body panel BP. In this set operation, the stat bolt SB of the vehicle body panel BP is assumed to be disposed in the through hole H1 of the insulator IS.
After the above setting work is completed, next, the tip CP1 of the clip CP (specifically, the side where the stud bolt guide 5 and the mounting hole guide 6 are provided) is opposed to the tip of the stud bolt SB. The clip head 2 of the clip CP is pressed in the direction of the vehicle body panel BP with a predetermined force.
As a result, as shown in FIG. 4, the clip body 1 of the clip CP is fitted in the through hole H1 of the insulator IS, the stud bolt SB of the vehicle body panel BP is inserted inside the clip body 2, the clip A state in which the head 2 is hooked and engaged with the edge surface of the through hole H1, a state in which the outer claw 4 is in contact with or bites into the inner surface of the through hole H1, and an inner claw 3 is attached to the outer peripheral thread portion of the stud bolt SB. By being in the engaged state, the operation of attaching the insulator IS to the vehicle body panel BP is completed.
In the first mounting example, the clip CP is positioned and fixed with respect to the insulator IS when the outer claw 4 comes into contact with or bites into the inner surface of the through hole H1 as described above.
In the first mounting example, the mounting strength of the insulator IS can be adjusted by shifting the engagement position P1 between the inner claw 3 and the outer peripheral thread portion of the stud bolt SB in the vertical direction.
For example, when the clip head 2 of the clip CP is further pressed from the state shown in FIG. 4, the engagement position P1 is shifted downward, so that the mounting strength of the insulator IS is improved. On the contrary, when the engagement position P2 is shifted upward, the mounting strength of the insulator IS is set to be relatively low.
By the way, in the first mounting example, when the tip CP1 of the clip CP is opposed to the tip of the stud bolt SB as described above, the clip CP is inclined with respect to the stat bolt SB. Alternatively, the clip CP and the stud bolt SB may be relatively displaced in the lateral direction.
In the first mounting example, when the inclination or displacement as described above occurs, the tip of the stat bolt SB abuts on the guide surface 5A of the stat bolt guide 5, and the tip of the stat bolt SB that abuts is By sliding along the guide surface 5 </ b> A, the clip body portion 1 is guided in the inner direction from the lower opening.
Therefore, the troublesome work such as correction of the inclination and displacement as described above is not necessary when the insulator IS is attached by the clip CP as in the first attachment example. In this respect, the insulator IS is attached. The work is easy.
<< About the second case >>
In the second mounting example, that is, when the insulator IS is mounted on the vehicle body panel BP using the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP, the insulator IS is set on the vehicle body panel BP as in the first mounting case described above. However, in this set operation, it is assumed that the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP is disposed directly below the through hole H1 of the insulator IS.
After the above setting operation is completed, the clip head 2 of the clip CP is set in a direction toward the vehicle body panel BP with the tip CP1 side of the clip CP facing the upper end opening of the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP. Press with force.
Then, first, the attachment hole guide 6 of the clip CP is pushed into the attachment hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP. At this time, the attachment hole guide 6 passes through the attachment hole H2 by being elastically deformed in a contracting direction by a reaction force received from the inner edge side of the attachment hole H2. Similarly, the stat bolt guide 5 is elastically deformed to pass through the mounting hole H2. Further, the lowermost outer claw 4 (blade 41) is also elastically deformed and passes through the attachment hole H2.
As described above, the outermost nail 4 (blade 41) in the lowermost stage after passing through the attachment hole H2 returns to its original state due to its elastic restoring ability, and is in a state of being hooked and engaged with the edge surface of the through hole H1. This completes the operation of attaching the insulator IS to the vehicle body panel BP.
At this time, the outer CP 4 (blade 42, blade 43) other than the lowermost outer claw 4 (blade 41) comes into contact with or bites into the inner surface of the through hole H1, so that the clip CP for the insulator IS is obtained. The positioning is fixed.
In the second mounting example, when the clip head 2 of the clip CP is pressed more strongly, the outer claw 4 (blade 42) in the second step from the bottom passes through the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP and the mounting hole H Therefore, the mounting strength of the insulator IS with respect to the vehicle body panel BP is improved.
Further, in the second mounting example, when the thickness of the insulator IS is reduced, the outer claw 4 (42) in the second stage from the bottom or the outer claw 4 (43) in the uppermost stage is the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP. A predetermined attachment strength can be obtained by passing through and engaging the rear surface of the edge of the attachment hole H.
By the way, in the second mounting example, when the tip CP1 side of the clip CP is opposed to the upper end opening of the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP as described above, the clip is clipped with respect to the central axis of the mounting hole H2. There are cases where the CP is inclined and the clip CP and the mounting hole H2 are relatively displaced in the lateral direction.
In the second mounting example, when the inclination or the deviation occurs as described above, the clip body portion when the mounting hole guide 6 of the clip CP is pushed into the mounting hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP as described above. 1 is guided along the guide surface 61A of the mounting hole guide 6 toward the center of the mounting hole H2.
Therefore, in the mounting operation of the insulator IS by the clip CP as in the second mounting example, the troublesome work such as correction of the inclination and displacement as described above is unnecessary, and in this respect, the mounting operation of the insulator IS. Is easy.
In the first and second mounting examples described above, the insulator CP is set on the vehicle body panel BP, and then the clip CP is fitted into the through hole H1 of the insulator IS set. A piece in which CP is fitted in the through hole H1 of the insulator IS in advance may be set on the vehicle body panel BP.
In the clip CP of the embodiment described above, as a specific configuration, when the stud bolt SB for attaching the insulator IS is present in the vehicle body panel BP, the inner claw 3 is the outer peripheral thread portion of the stud bolt SB. When the mounting hole H2 for attaching the insulator IS exists in the vehicle body panel BP, the outer claw 4 is configured to function as a means for engaging with the rear surface of the edge of the mounting hole H2. did. For this reason, the clip CP of this embodiment uses the stud bolt SB of the vehicle body panel BP to attach the insulator IS to the vehicle body panel BP, and the insulator CP using the attachment hole H2 of the vehicle body panel BP. It is possible to flexibly deal with both of the second mounting cases where the IS is mounted on the vehicle body panel BP. In this respect, the two types of clips having different mounting structures are integrated into one as described above. Therefore, it is suitable for facilitating mis-installation and inventory management due to clip misplacement.
In addition, according to the clip CP of the embodiment described above, the two types of clips are unified and unified as described above, so that only one mold is necessary for manufacturing the clip, thereby reducing the mold cost. Can also be planned.
The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and many modifications can be made by those having ordinary knowledge in the art within the technical idea of the present invention.
