Abstract
Un dispositivo que bombea fluido usando campos electromagnéticos junto con fluidos inteligentes para un amplio rango de aplicaciones. El dispositivo consiste de una cámara cilíndrica con válvulas de verificación de entrada y salida, un par de fuentes de campo de tipo eléctrico y magnético con una alimentación controlada, y una esfera llena con un fluido inteligente que actúa como un pistón. La posición de la esfera dentro de la cámara está controlada por las fuentes de campo para crear presión positiva y negativa alternante dentro de la cámara cilíndrica, logrando el flujo requerido del fluido.
