Abstract
The invention concerns a folding and portable electrically powered scooter intended for transporting a person. According to the invention, the electrically powered scooter is provided with a single-unit composite chassis (1), a collapsible steering column (2), a steering column folding system (3), a front driving wheel (4) a rear wheel (5), a foldable handlebar (6), a combined braking system (7) electric at the front wheel and mechanical at the rear wheel, a throttle lever (8), a front wheel suspension system (9) a folding system (10) for supporting the scooter in the stationary position and an integrated command, control, monitoring, signaling and controlling the braking system (11).
Claims
1 . A folding and portable electrically powered scooter comprising:
a front driving wheel (4)
a rear wheel (5)
a foldable handlebar (6)
a combined electric brake system (7) to the front wheel and mechanical to the rear wheel
a throttle lever (8)
a front wheel suspension system (9)
a foldable support system (10) for supporting the scooter in the stationary position and an integrated command, control, monitoring, signaling and controlling the braking system (1 1 ), characterized in that said folding and portable electrically powered scooter comprises:
a single-unit composite chassis (1 );
a foldable steering column (2);
a steering column folding system (3).

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 , characterized by the fact that, in order to reduce the size of the vehicle for storage or transport, it comprises a steering column (2) consisting of a lower steering half-column (12), a top collapsible steering half-column (13) and the steering column folding system (3) for collapsing the steering column in line with the two steering semi-column via a lower coupling (14) and a upper coupling (20).

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 2, characterized by the fact that, in order to collapse the steering column, the steering column folding system (3) includes a lever (16) locked by means of a spring (19) and a bolt (15) and which, by rotation around a bolt (17), unlocks a locking bolt (18) so that the upper coupling (20) can rotate against the lower coupling (14) to achieve folding by which the sizes of the scooter are reduced for storage or transport.

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 , characterized by the fact that, in order to reduce the size of the vehicle for storage or transport, a method of folding is initiated in a first step of the process, in a second step the handlebar (6) is folded, in a third step the steering column (2) is collapsed in a rotational way, in a fourth step the steering column (2) is fixed to the a rear wheel guard (21 ) by means of a locking system (22).

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 , characterized by the fact that, in order to reduce the weight of the scooter, to increase its rigidity and improve the execution technology, has the single-unit composite chassis (1 ), which contains in the same structure a housing (23) of the steering column bearing (2), a support plate (25), an integrated suspension (26) for the rear wheel (5) and it is provided with a groove (24) for passing and fixing the cables.

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 5, characterized by the fact that, in order to reduce the weight and improve the manufacturing process, the single-unit composite chassis (1 ) is carried out in a structure containing a continuous carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (28) and a polyurethane core (27).

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 5, characterized by the fact that, for integration into the single-unit composite chassis, a suspension (26) is made in a structure which includes a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (28), a glass fiber reinforced plastic core (29) and a second polyurethane core (27).

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 5, characterized by the fact that, for the purpose of integrating into a single-unit composite chassis and increasing the rigidity of the suspension to the rear wheel, a suspension (26) is carried out in a structure comprising a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (28) and a glass fiber-reinforced plastic core (29).
9. A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 , further comprising the combined braking system made up of the front driving wheel (4), the rear wheel (5), the brake lever (7), a sensor (30), a magnet (31 ), a mechanical brake (32) at the

rear wheel (5), a mechanical brake cable (33), a brake cable tappet (34), a battery (35), a controller (36) and an electronic board (37) characterized by the fact that, for the purpose of recovering energy upon braking and improving the efficiency of the braking process, the brake lever (7) controls the regenerative electric braking and mechanical braking in the same time, according to its position.

A method of braking a folding electrically powered scooter, according to claim 1 , characterized by the fact that, in order to recover the braking energy and to improve the braking efficiency, the method in a first stage initiates the process, in a second stage the position of the brake lever is read, in a third stage the position of the brake lever in the neutral range A-B is verified, in a fourth stage the throttle is decoupled, in a fifth stage the position of the brake lever is checked in the B-C range to provide the throttle blocking, in a sixth stage the position of the braking lever is checked in the C-D range of regenerative braking, in a seventh stage the battery charging status is checked, in a eighth stage it is regenerative electrically braked by passing the motor in generator mode, in a ninth stage the battery is charged, in a tenth stage electric energy is dissipated in the windings of the electric motor, in a eleventh stage the position of the brake lever in the D-E range of combined regenerative electric and mechanical braking is checked, in a twelfth stage the battery condition is checked, in a thirteenth stage the front wheel is electrically regeneratively braked and the rear wheel is mechanically braked, in a fourteenth stage it is checked whether braking is still necessary and in a fifteenth stage the braking is completed.

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 , characterized by the fact that, for the purpose of securely positioning the scooter in the parking space, the single unit composite chassis and legs is composed of a base plate (38) fixed to the chassis (1 ), provided with some grooves (43) which secure the legs (39) by means of springs (41 ) joined with a bolt (42) and provided with ribs (45).
12. A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 1 , characterized by the fact that, for the purpose of fixing the legs (39) in the motion or parking position, the base plate (38) is provided with some grooves (43) and passage

areas (44) allowing the unlocking between the motion position (F) and the parking position (P)-

A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 1 , characterized by the fact that, in order to be fixed against the base plate (38), the support leg (39) is provided with some ribs (45) and some passage areas (46) that allow unlocking between the motion position (F) and the stationary position (P).
14. A folding and portable electrically powered scooter according to claim 1 1 , characterized by the fact that, for a synchronous movement with the other leg (39) of the supporting foldable system, the support leg (39) is provided with a bore (47) inside which a positioning shaft (42) is mounted.
