Glass bottles, metal cans, paper, plastics and the like can be used as beverage containers, but are not limited thereto. The beverage of the present invention is suitable for an energy drink because it has a good scent at the top when opened and gives a refreshing feeling.

2.製造方法
準備した原料を用い、下記表1に示す配合比率となるように混合して、実施例1~14および比較例1~6の飲料を作製した。なお、実施例14の飲料については、混合した後に炭酸を付加した(炭酸ガスボリューム=2.1)。 2. 3.評価
下表に示す、4つの項目:「トップの香り立ちの良さ」、「甘さの良さ」、「酸味の良さ」、「甘さの余韻」について、訓練されたパネラー3名により、5段階で官能評価を行い、平均値を算出した。結果は、表2にまとめて示す。 3. 表2に示されるように、酢酸の配合量が1~750ppm、及びエチルマルチトールの配合量が5~2500ppmの範囲において、評価項目のいずれについても好適な結果が得られた。

エチルマルトールにより好ましい甘さが付与され、さらに酢酸を併用することでトップの香り立ちも良くなることがわかる。酢酸の配合量が増加すると香り立ちは良くなるが、多すぎると酸味の良さの評価が悪くなる。また、高甘味度甘味料であるスクラロースを適量添加した場合、甘さの良さと香り立ちに影響を与えないが、添加量が多くなると、舌の上に甘さが残るため、甘さの余韻が好ましいものではなくなり、後味が悪くなる。カフェインやビタミンBの添加は、総じて評価を高くし、ややシャープな苦味がありエナジードリンクらしい風味を強めた。また、炭酸ガスの添加は、他の評価項目に影響を与えることなく、爽快感を向上させた。
