Abstract

The present invention relates to a waste collection device (1) comprising a bag holder (2), of solid section, and comprising a top surface (11) that is substantially planar and horizontal in the normal position of use of said bag holder (2), over which the edge of a disposable bag is positioned substantially horizontally and without folds or creases, and an opening (10) allowing access to the inside of said disposable bag, said device (1) also comprising a flap (3) able to move, with respect to said bag holder (2), from a position referred to as "raised" to a position referred to as "lowered" and vice versa, said flap (3) comprising a surface (12) that is planar and substantially horizontal in the lowered position and that faces said surface (11) of said bag holder (2) in the lowered position, and an opening (15) allowing access to the inside of said disposable bag, the substantially horizontal and fold-free or crease-free part of said edge of said disposable bag being held in place by being trapped between said horizontal upper surface (11) of said bag holder (2) and said horizontal lower surface (12) of said flap (3) in the lowered position via means (4) for attaching said disposable bag, which means are arranged on at least said lower surface (12) of said flap (3).

Description

DEVICE FOR COLLECTING DETRITUS COMPRISING A BAG HOLDER Object of the invention

The present invention relates to a detritus collection device using disposable bags for receiving detritus, the device comprising means for fixing the bag. State of the art

Detritus collection devices, whether household trash or outdoor garbage cans, called urban, generally include a rigid tray, which can be, or not, closed by a lid. For questions of hygiene and ease of use, it is usual to use tray liners, which are disposable soft bags receiving detritus.

Generally, the flexible bag is held in the bin by folding its upper edge outwardly and around the upper edges of the tray. Nevertheless, this solution has many disadvantages. It is usually necessary to stretch the bag to force the edges of the tray, which weakens it and increases the risk of tearing it when you want to remove it from the tray. Furthermore, when a heavy waste is deposited in the bag, it often happens that the upper edge of the latter disengage the edges of the tray, or simply tear.

Therefore, it has been proposed to use means for fixing the bag in the trash, in particular by the use of a bag holder.

For example, the document US 4,765,579 describes a fixed ring, having the shape of a groove, which fits on the edges of the tray, having a shape complementary to the ring, and on which are folded the edges of the bag.

Document FR 2 879 177 describes, meanwhile, the use of two movable stirrups for wedging the upper edge of the bag against the vertical wall of a stirrup and a vertical inner wall of the tray.

The document FR 2 963 334 discloses a bin comprising a rigid upper section U-shaped ring, comprising at its periphery a wall extending towards the inside of the bin and a vertical flap, a wall and a flap that can be inclined, above which the edge of a disposable bag is disposed and whose end forms an annular fold at the bottom of the open section of the ring, the disposable bag being held at the bottom of the ring by a hold, that it can be defined as "vertical" because it is done by friction between the vertical wall of the ring and the vertical wall of a rib of a cover.

Similarly, the document EP 1 172 307 discloses a bin comprising a body comprising a flange fixed on said body, the peripheral edge has an open annular groove, V-shaped section groove, receiving a tray above which passes the upper edge of the bag, a movable ring being positioned on the tray and comprising on its peripheral edge a rib extending downwardly for a vertical holding of the bag, the whole being covered with a lid.

Document FR 2 972 715 describes, meanwhile, a trash in which the vertical maintenance is done, not by the use of a ring having the shape of an open groove, but by a vertical ring, over which folds the bag, and whose vertical surface interacts by friction with a vertical rib of a slaughterer. This document also discloses means for concomitant opening of the flap and side panels forming the body of the trash for access to the disposable bag.

However, the use of such hollow bag-holder rings or flanges, in addition to a lid, makes the solution complex and not easy to use. Moreover, such a maintenance of the disposable bag by friction between two vertical walls has the disadvantage of weakening and increasing the risk of tearing the edge of the bag.

The document US2008000912 also describes the use of several fixing rings, a first frustoconical section ring is attached to the tray, and a second ring, also frustoconical section, movable and comprising on its outer periphery teeth cooperating with the inner periphery of the first ring to hold the bag in place. Nevertheless, this solution, in addition to being complex, has the disadvantage of not being easy to handle. Indeed, to empty the trash of his bag filled with detritus, it is necessary to open the cover, maneuver the mobile ring clamping to release the edge of the bag and try to pass the bag through the second ring, and possibly disconnect the tray to allow its release. Moreover, and as long as the lid is heavy and it Failure to keep it open with one hand, the maneuver of the mobile clamping ring, unloading of the bag, and possibly the release of the fixed ring, are not easy and particularly tedious with one hand.

There are also reinforcing devices, which do not include a rigid tray or suspension frame bags, but allow to maintain an open trash bag. For example, the document US 6 679 462 describes such a device comprising a first section of male profiled reinforcement, covered with the edge of the bag, and on which engages the female section of a second reinforcing section.

In addition to the fact that these devices have the disadvantage of not being rigid or self-supporting, which greatly limits their field of use, the locking of the reinforcing pieces is by a commitment of force, which may tear the edges of the bag, and moreover, the recovery of the bag filled with detritus is not easy.

Goals of the invention

The present invention aims to provide a detritus collection device, which does not have the disadvantages of the state of the art.

The present invention aims to provide an alternative to the existing solutions of the prior art.

The present invention aims to provide a detritus collection device which is easy to handle and allows a quick, simple and ergonomic introduction of the disposable bag.

The present invention aims to provide a detritus collection device which ensures a good hold of the disposable bag without litter falling next to the device and do not soil it.

Summary of the invention

In the following description and claims, the terms "up", "down", "upper", "lower", "vertical" or "horizontal" refer to the normal vertical position of use of the device. 1 according to the invention and the normal position of use of the constituent elements of the device 1 during normal use of said device 1, namely when the device 1 is able to receive detritus, especially when it comprises a disposable bag .

The device 1 according to the invention differs from the solutions of the state of the art in that it does not involve a vertical maintenance of the edge of the disposable bag by a friction between two vertical walls, but a pinch that can be defined as "horizontal". Indeed, the device 1 according to the invention does not use a bag holder having an open section U or V, or comprising a collar or a gutter peripheral, wherein the edge of the disposable bag would be folded. Preferably, the hollow body 5 comprises one or more openings 9 disposed on its and its flanks or facades, which has the advantage of allowing easy removal of the disposable bag 22 filled with detritus (Figure 7).

The hollow body 5 can adopt all shapes and have all adequate dimensions, which are complementary or compatible with the general shape of the device 1 according to the invention, but also in relation to the shape and size of the disposable bags 22 that the device 1 receives.

In a particular embodiment, the hollow body 5 is of cylindrical or substantially cylindrical shape (Figures 6 and 7). In another embodiment, it is of rectangular shape.

The hollow body 5 is preferably metal, preferably steel. Nevertheless, it can also be made of a plastic material.

The bag holder 2 can adopt all shapes and have all the appropriate dimensions, which are complementary or compatible with the general shape of the device 1 according to the invention, but also in relation to the shape and size of the bags 22. disposables that the device 1 receives. The bag holder 2 is adapted to horizontally receive the upper edge of a disposable bag 22 and to keep said bag open during normal use of the device 1 (FIG. 12). To more conveniently describe the bag holder 2 according to the invention structurally, it will be assumed oriented as illustrated in Figures 1 to 12, that is to say extending along a longitudinal axis X, a transverse axis Y, which define a horizontal or substantially horizontal plane XY, and along a third axis Z defining the thickness of the bag-holder 2.

The bag holder 2 preferably has a longitudinal section in the horizontal plane formed by the XY axis, circular in shape. It then takes the form of a flat ring, of solid section, as shown in Figures 1 to 5, 8 and 9. Nevertheless, the longitudinal section may be oval or ovoid, or polygonal, preferably in the form of a triangle or a quadrilateral, a square, a rectangular, a trapezium or a rhombus. It may be of any form compatible with or complementary to the shape and / or the dimensions of the hollow body 5 and / or the disposable bag.

The bag holder 2 comprises an opening 10, preferably central, allowing the passage of detritus and their collection in the bag 22 disposable. Preferably, the opening 10 is disposed facing the opening 7 of the hollow body 5, the latter is present. This opening 10 may adopt the same forms as, or forms compatible or complementary with, those of the longitudinal section of the bag holder 2 and / or the hollow body 5 and / or the bag 22 disposable.

The bag holder 2 does not have a cross section, so along the Z axis, in its thickness, U-shaped or V, forming a groove. On the contrary, the cross section of the bag holder 2 is full, providing a surface 1 1 upper, continuous, flat or substantially flat in the XY plane, and therefore horizontal or substantially horizontal. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the bag holder 2 according to the invention comprises a portion 18 extending substantially vertically and downwardly from the device 1 (Figures 8 and 9). Preferably, in this embodiment, the bag holder 2 has a cross section, along the Z axis, shaped "T" or "L" inverted.

For a device 1 comprising a hollow body 5, the bag holder 2 is preferably disposed at the top of the hollow body 5, preferably in the upper part of the hollow body 5 and, even more advantageously, it has a width or a diameter smaller than that of the hollow body 5 in order to have a free space 13 between the outer periphery of the bag-holder 2 and the inner periphery of the hollow body 5. The bag holder 2 is connected to the hollow body 5 via one or more arms 19, extending from the bag holder 2 to the wall of the hollow body 5, in the space 13, as shown. in FIGS. 8 and 9. In the particular embodiment of the invention in which the bag-holder 2 has a transverse section, along the Z axis in the form of an inverted "T" or "L", the one or more arm 19 preferably engage the bag holder 2 at the portion 18 extending substantially vertically and downwardly from the device 1, preferably by the inner surface of said portion 18, namely the surface facing the opening 10 .

Still for a device 1 comprising a hollow body 5, the bag holder 2 can be fixed and secured to the hollow body 5, or be movable, particularly with respect to the hollow body 5. The passage from one position to the other is done, for example, by the use of means 14 forming a hinge, possibly including falling brake means, which have the advantage of reducing or eliminating the noise that the bag holder 2 could make passing in the down position, including abutting the hollow body 5 if the latter is present. These hinge means 14 may comprise or cooperate with openings 20 made in the bag holder 2, preferably in the vertical portion 18 of its cross section, as shown in FIG. 7.

The bag holder 2 is made of any rigid material for obtaining a surface

The movable flap 3 has a shape and dimensions complementary or compatible with the bag holder 2 and / or the hollow body 5. Thus, the movable flap 3 may have a longitudinal section, in the horizontal plane formed by the XY axis, oval or ovoid, polygonal, preferably in the form of a triangle or a quadrilateral, a square, a rectangular, a trapezoid or a rhombus. Its cross-section, along the Z axis, is solid, preferably of square or rectangular shape, although it may also adopt a semi-circular or semi-elliptical shape, provided that it provides a flat, lower surface 12 or substantially flat, and horizontal or substantially horizontal, during normal use of the device 1, namely when it adopts its lowered position.

The flap 3 is movable relative to the bag holder 2, and the hollow body 5, if the device 1 comprises one. It can adopt a so-called "raised" position, in which the flap 3 is vertical, or substantially vertical, upwards in the extension of the Z axis, a so-called "lowered" position, which it adopts in the configuration normal use of the device 1, wherein the flap 3 is next to the bag holder 2 and wherein the plane formed by the flap 3 is parallel or substantially parallel to the plane formed by the bag holder 2, and intermediate positions between the "raised" position and the "down" position. Preferably, the lid 3 comprises an opening 15, preferably central, allowing access to the interior space 6 of the hollow body 5, so inside the disposable bag 22, and thus allowing the passage of detritus and their collection in the disposable bag 22. Advantageously, when the flap 3 is in the lowered position, the opening 15 is arranged facing the opening 10 of the bag holder 2, and the opening 7 of the hollow body 5 if the latter is present. Preferably, the opening 15 has a width or a diameter equal to or smaller than that of the opening of the bag holder 2. This partial closure has the advantage of protecting, in particular bad weather , the inside 6 of the body hollow 5 and the space 13, if present, the disposable bag 22, and possibly also at least part of its contents. Moreover, such a seat 3 has the advantage of having a space that can receive accessories, such as for example a cigarette extinguisher, an ashtray or a dog bag dispenser.

Preferably, the device 1 according to the invention may comprise means for maneuvering the flap 3, and the bag holder 2, if the latter is movable. These means can be manual, and include for example a handle or a tab, or automatic, and include means for closing and automatic opening.

Preferably, the device 1 according to the invention does not comprise a movable cover covering the flap 3; however, the device 1 may further comprise a wall, an awning or a roof, disposed above the flap 3 and integral with the hollow body 5 or the flap 3, protecting the disposable bag from the weather.

The means 4 for fixing the disposable bag, according to the invention, have the advantage of distributing the load of the disposable bag, once filled, on a continuity or a plurality of pinch points.

These means 4 for fixing the bag may be one or integral parts of the flap 3 and the bag holder 2, but they may also be fixed more or less permanently.

That the fastening means 4 are continuous or discontinuous, and that they are arranged only on the lower surface 12, or on the lower surface 12 and the upper surface 1 1, they preferably comprise at least one protuberance 16, preferably a plurality of protuberances 16, extending outwardly from the lower surface 12 of the flap 3, and possibly also from the upper surface 11 of the bag holder 2, in a perpendicular or substantially perpendicular plane. , in the plane formed by the flap 3 or by the bag holder 2 respectively. As regards one or discontinuous protuberances 16, they are preferably four in number on the lower surface 12 of the flap 3, which ensures a good retention of the disposable bag, even when it includes heavy rubbish. Nevertheless, it is conceivable that they be present at a number greater than four, namely five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten or more, if necessary. Preferably, and some embodiments of the device 1 according to the invention, the or protuberances 16 is or are pads, square, rectangular or circular. Preferably, the studs are fixed to the flap 3 by welding or by the use of an adhesive and the studs of the bag holder 2 are fixed more permanently by engaging a portion of studs in a hole, preferably opening, made in the bag holder 2, in particular in the upper surface 1 1 (Figure 8 to 1 1), and in a particular embodiment, optionally also in the vertical portion 18 of the bag-bag 2, in the XZ plane.

In a particular embodiment of the invention, the device 1 according to the invention comprises a steel bag-holder 2, having the shape of a solid and flat ring, of inverted "L" cross-section, and disposed horizontally, over which the upper edge of a disposable bag is horizontally deposited. The bag holder 2 is fixed in the upper part of a hollow body 5, which is a cylindrical steel frame, having an opening 9 on one of these flanks, and comprising on its upper part a space 13 receiving the end free, namely not pinched, the edge of the disposable bag. The bag holder 2 comprises six studs, made of plastic material, extending perpendicular to the plane formed by the bag-holder 2, of cylindrical shape, engaged in holes made in the thickness of the bag-holder 2. The six studs are disposed facing and for contact with six square studs, of frustoconical cross section, disposed on the lower surface 12 of the flap 3 mobile relative to the bag holder 2 by a hinge. The flap 3 is made of steel and also has the shape of a solid and flat ring, of rectangular cross section and arranged horizontally. It includes a central opening 14, allowing the passage of detritus in the disposable bag. The flap 3, in the lowered position, partially closes the upper opening 7 of the hollow body 5, the bag holder 2 and a part of the bag holder 2.

The device 1 according to the invention has many advantages. First, the operator can easily set up the disposable bag on the bag holder 2, possibly with one hand if he holds the flap 3 of the other. Then it is sufficient to fold the lid 3 on the bag holder 2 so that the bag is well maintained.

The device 1 according to the invention may further comprise one or more accessories, chosen for example from a cigarette extinguisher, an ashtray and a canine bag dispenser, preferably arranged on the periphery or on a second surface 17 of the flap 3 and / or the hollow body 5, if it is present.

The device 1 according to the invention may be a basket, a trash can, domestic, equipping the interior of houses or offices, for example an office basket, a wastepaper basket, a kitchen trash can, but also a outdoor trash, for public use, that is to say, intended to be placed in places frequented by the public, both outside, for example on a sidewalk or in a square, as the interior, for example in a shopping arcade or a station hall.

Claims

1. A garbage collection device (1) comprising a bag holder (2), of solid section, and comprising an upper surface (1 1), substantially flat and horizontal in the normal position of use of said bag-holder (2), above which is positioned substantially horizontally and without fold or fold, the edge of a disposable bag (22), and an opening (10) allowing access to the interior of said disposable bag (22), said device (1) also comprising a flap (3), movable relative to said bag-carrier (2), able to move from a "raised" position to a so-called "down" position, and vice versa, said flap (3) comprising a surface (12), flat and substantially horizontal in the down position, facing said surface (1 1) of said bag-carrier (2) in lowered position, and an opening (15) allowing access to the interior of said disposable bag (22) characterized in that the portion substantially horizontally and without fold or fold of said edge of said disposable bag is held in place by pinching between said upper horizontal surface (1 1) of said bag-holder (2) and said lower horizontal surface (12) of said flap (3) in lowered position, using means ( 4) fixing said disposable bag (22) disposed on at least said lower surface (12) of said flap (3).

2. Device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the means (4) for fixing the bag (22) disposable are also arranged on the upper surface (1 1) of the bag holder (2), facing, and for a contact, with the fixing means (4) disposed on the lower surface (12) of the flap (3).

3. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the means (4) for fixing the bag (22) disposable comprise one or more protuberances (16) extending externally from the surface (12) lower than the flap (3), and possibly also from the upper surface (1 1) of the bag holder (2).

4. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the means (4) for fixing the bag (22) disposable which are arranged on the flap

(3) comprise studs of frustoconical or substantially circular cross section.

5. Device (1) according to any one of claims 2 to 4, wherein the means (4) for fixing the bag (22) disposable which are arranged on the bag holder (2) are cylindrical.

6. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, further comprising a hollow body (5) comprising an interior space (6) receiving the bag (22) disposable and at least a first opening (7) disposed at one of its ends allowing access to the interior of said disposable bag (22).

7. Device (1) according to claim 6, wherein the device (1) comprises one or more openings (9) disposed on one or more of its flanks.

8. Device (1) according to any one of claims 6 or 7, comprising a space (13) defined between the hollow body (5) and the bag holder (2), said space (13) receiving the edge of the bag (22) unclamped disposable between said bag holder (2) and the flap (3).

9. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the bag holder (2) and the flap (3) have an annular shape, and the hollow body (5), if present, has a cylindrical shape.

10. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the bag holder (2) has a cross section in the shape of "T" or "L".

1 1. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the bag holder (2) is movable relative to the flap (3), and relative to the hollow body (5) if said hollow body (5) is present.

Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the flap (3), by adopting the so-called lowered position, closes a portion of the opening (7) of the hollow body (5), if said hollow body (5) is present, the space (13) between the hollow body (5) and the bag holder (2), if said hollow body (5) is present, the bag holder (2) and a part the opening (10) of said bag holder (2).

13. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims comprising a disposable bag receiving detritus.

14. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the flap (3) comprises a cigarette extinguisher, an ashtray and a dog bag dispenser.

15. Device (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, being an outdoor trash.
