Description
The present invention relates to a burner group that can form a plurality of flame circles.
In state of the art embodiments, cooking devices comprise burner groups having at least one burner plate whereon cooking vessels, for example pots are placed and a plurality of burner heads that enable the vessels to be heated on the burner plate. During the use of burner head, it becomes important whether flames formed are balanced, how much of the energy generated with the burning of the gas can be transferred to the pot, how much of the lower part of the pot is heated by the flames as well as the emission values of harmful gases, such as CO, NOx, etc., generates with the burning of the gas.
Since the flames formed around the burner head are around a single circle in conventional embodiments, only edges of the pot placed thereon can be heated and the above-mentioned features may not be provided. For example, in order to heat vessels called wok, burner heads that can generate a plurality of flame circles must be used. In wok type burners, the flames are composed of two or three or four circles and the flames are enabled to contact both the edges and the center of the pot.
In the state of the art United States Patent Application No. US2010319677, a burner group is disclosed, that can form a plurality of flame circles.
The aim of the present invention is the realization of a burner group of which the burning effectiveness is increased.
The burner group realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a burner body that generates flames by the flammable gases being burned, that enables the cooking vessel placed thereon to be heated and that has an inner mixing chamber wherein the gas and the ambient air are mixed and that feeds the inner flame circle, at least one vertical injector that provides the delivery of gas to the inner mixing chamber, at least one outer mixing chamber wherein the gas and the ambient air are mixed and at least one horizontal injector that provides the delivery of gas to the outer mixing chamber; a burner head that is disposed on the burner body and that enables the flames to be delivered to the base of the cooking vessel from the holes arranged around the burner head, and burner cap that is disposed on the burner head. In the mixing chamber, the flammable gas and the ambient air are mixed and the vessels placed on the burner head are heated with the flames coming out of the holes.
The burner group of the present invention comprises a first horizontal injector and a second horizontal injector that are oppositely disposed on the burner body; a first outer mixing chamber and a second outer mixing chamber that are provided on the burner body; a first Venturi channel that enables the gas delivered from the first horizontal injector to be sent to the first outer mixing chamber and a second Venturi channel that enables the gas delivered from the second horizontal injector to be sent to the second outer mixing chamber. The burner group comprises a vertical injector feeding the inner flame circle and two horizontal injectors feeding the outer flame circle. By means of the flames generated by the inner and outer flame circles with different diameters arranged at different planes in a stepped manner so as not to intercept each other, a wide region of the lower surface of the vessels placed on the burner head can be heated and a balanced cooking can be achieved.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the burner group comprises the first Venturi channel and the second Venturi channel that are positioned in an angled manner with respect to each other on the burner body. With the first Venturi channel and the second Venturi channel being positioned in an angled manner with respect to each other, the volume in the burner body can be more efficiently used, thus enabling the lengths of the Venturi channels to be increased. Thus, a homogeneous gas-air mixture can be obtained in the first Venturi channel and the second Venturi channel.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the burner group comprises the first Venturi channel with a cross-section widening from the first horizontal injector towards the first outer mixing chamber and the second Venturi channel with a cross-section widening from the second horizontal injector towards the second outer mixing chamber. By means of the difference between the inlet and outlet cross-sections of the first Venturi channel and the second Venturi channel, the strength of the Venturi effect is increased and more fresh air is received into the Venturi channels. Thus, more homogeneous gas-air mixture is delivered to the first outer mixing chamber and the second outer mixing chamber.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the burner group comprises an air duct that is disposed on the burner body and that enables the air to be delivered from the outer environment to the inner mixing chamber. By means of the air duct extending along the burner body, the required amount of air is delivered to the inner mixing chamber. Thus, unburned gases causing high CO emission and flame lift-off are enabled to be completed burned.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the burner body comprises a lower body and an upper body. The burner body is joined by attaching the lower body and the upper body to each other. By means of the two-piece form of the burner body, the mounting of the injectors to the burner body is facilitated.
By means of the present invention, a homogeneous gas-air mixture is formed by means of a plurality of injectors extending in the vertical and horizontal directions, and a wok-type burner group with improved burning efficiency is realized, wherein a plurality of flame circles can be formed.
The burner group realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 – is the perspective view of a cooker comprising the burner group.

- an inner mixing chamber (4) wherein the gas and the ambient air are mixed,
- at least one vertical injector (4) that provides the delivery of gas to the inner mixing chamber (3),
- at least one outer mixing chamber (5) wherein the gas and the ambient air are mixed,
- at least one horizontal injector (6) that provides the delivery of gas to the outer mixing chamber (5),
a burner head (7) that is disposed on the burner body (2) and that provides the delivery of flames to the base of the cooking vessel through the holes arranged around the burner head (7) and a burner cap (8) that is disposed on the burner head (7) (Figure 2 and Figure 3).

Thus, the gas and the air is enabled to be more homogeneously mixed in the first Venturi channel (13) and the second Venturi channel (14). By means of the homogeneous gas-air mixture formed, the burning efficiency of the burner group (1) is increased. Moreover, the gas delivered to the first outer mixing chamber (11) and the second outer mixing chamber (12) from the first Venturi channel (13) and the second Venturi channel (14) positioned in a angled manner with respect to each other hits the walls of the first outer mixing chamber (11) and the second outer mixing chamber (12) and moves in the radial direction. Thus, the gas-air mixture delivered to the burner head (7) is efficiently distributed around the burner head (7) and a symmetrical flame is obtained (Figure 7).

By means of the difference between the inlet and outlet cross-sections of the first Venturi channel (12) and the second Venturi channel (14), a more homogeneous gas-air mixture is delivered to the first outer mixing chamber (11) and the second outer mixing chamber (12) (Figure 7).
In another embodiment of the present invention, the burner group (1) comprises an air duct (15) that is disposed on the burner body (2) and that enables the air to be delivered from the outer environment to the inner mixing chamber (3). With the low pressured formed by the gas injected from the vertical injector (4), air is sucked from the outer environment into to the air duct (15).The gas rising in the vertical direction in the inner mixing chamber (3) is mixed with the air received from the air duct (15) and delivered to the burner head (7). The air duct (15) preferably extending along the burner body (2) outwards from the inner mixing chamber (3) enables the air required for burning to be efficiently carried from the outer environment into the inner mixing chamber (3) (Figure 4 and Figure 5).
In another embodiment of the present invention, the burner body (1) comprises a lower body (16) and an upper body (17).
