  • aliphatic fatty alcohols such as octyldodecanols are common cosmetic emollients that are particularly useful as coupling agents in anhydrous antiperspirant compositions because these solvents are readily soluble in non-polar volatile silicones and help to solubilize the gellant if included in the composition.
  • Preferred emollient oils are alkyl esters, such as PurSyn Ester 2E7 (neopentylglycol dihexanoate) manufactured by Exxon-Mobil; benzoate esters such as Finsolv TN (Trade Mark) manufactured by Finetex Inc.; hydrogenated polyalkenes, such as Panalane manufactured by Amoco and PureSyn PAO 2 (hydrogenated polydecene) manufactured by Exxon-Mobil; PPG ethers, such as Fluid AP (PPG-14 butylether) manufactured by Union Carbide; isopropyl palmitate; phenylsilicone; and isopropyl myristate.

Once the temperature is at 85 °C, the mixture is stirred for 15 minutes. The suspending agent and its activator (propylene carbonate) are added and stirred for 10 minutes. Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition antiperspirante anhydre comprenant : (a) au moins un agent de mise en suspension ; (b) au moins un épaississant huileux à base de polyamide ; (c) au moins un principe actif antiperspirant dans un véhicule cosmétiquement acceptable. La composition agit contre les odeurs corporelles et la perspiration sans laisser de résidu blanc visible sur la peau et/ou sans tacher un vêtement de l'utilisateur final. La présente invention concerne également le procédé consistant à éviter les taches blanches à l'aide de la composition antiperspirante anhydre telle que définie ci-dessus et l'utilisation de la combinaison de (a) au moins un agent de mise en suspension et (b) au moins un épaississant huileux à base de polyamide, pour la préparation d'une composition antiperspirante anhydre selon la présente invention.
