Abstract
The dishwasher (1) of the invention comprises a body (2), a washing tub (3) provided on the body (2), in which items to be washed are placed, a frame (4) provided on the body (2) and below the washing tub (3), an electronic card (5) provided below the washing tub (3), enabling controlling the washing programs, and a card holder (6) in which the electronic card (5) is placed.
Description
The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising card holder.
The electronic cards provided in the dishwashers enable execution of electronic software comprising the washing programs and controlling their operations. The electronic cards are generally provided behind the control panel in the dishwasher. By this, the electronic card is prevented from contacting water during washing. Nowadays, built-in dishwashers and models comprising less buttons are preferred due to their aesthetic appeal. The dishwasher is desired to occupy a smaller space as it is used inside the kitchen counter. Therefore, control panels arranged on the upper portion of the dishwasher are not preferred and the washing tub is enlarged upwards. For this reason, the electronic cards provided on the upper portion of the dishwasher are relocated below the washing tub. Since liquid containing components are arranged below the washing tub, such as washing water chamber in which the water used in washing is collected, electronic cards may be subjected to water contact, increasing likelihood of malfunctions. Various protecting cases are present in the art, used to prevent the electronic card from contact with water. However, since the electronic card is provided on the base portion of the dishwasher, it is required to open the base portion of the dishwasher and therefore to lay it on its side in order to perform maintenance in case of a likely malfunction. It is not possible to perform such maintenance at user's residence and the dishwasher is usually taken to the maintenance shop. This causes the user net being able to use the dishwasher for long periods of time, and leads to labor and time loss in terms of maintenance.
State of the art international patent application no. WO2016119844 discloses a household appliance comprising a card holder.
The aim of the present invention is to realize a dishwasher providing ease of use and maintenance.
The dishwasher realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims comprises a body provided with a washing tub and a frame. The kitchenware to be washed are placed in the washing tub. The frame is provided on the lower side of the washing tub, on the front of the body. An electronic card enabling controlling the washing programs, and a card holder preventing the electronic card from contact with water are provided below the washing tub.
The dishwasher of the invention comprises a fastening member provided on the frame. The card holder is mounted on the fastening member. The electronic card is thus fastened on the frame.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises at least one locking member provided on the card holder. The locking member enables the card holder to be locked on the fastening member. Upon being triggered from the outside, the locking member enables the card holder to be released from the fastening member. The card holder can thus be removed easily from the dishwasher.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises at least one channel provided on the side edges of the fastening member. The card holder is attached on and detached from the fastening member by advancing on the channel.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises a base plate provided on the base of the body. The base plate can be opened and closed by being folded while its edge mounted on the back wall of the body, is fixed. By this, inside the body can be reached from the base portion.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises a cover provided on the base of the body. The cover is provided below the card holder. The card holder can be removed when the cover is opened. By this, easy access to card holder is provided without opening the base plate.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises a kick plate mounted on the frame. The kick plate enables insulation of the frame from the outer environment. The kick plate can be opened by being folded.
In an embodiment of the invention, the dishwasher comprises a fastening member preventing the card holder from contact with liquids. Safety is thus enhanced.
The dishwasher realized to achieve the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the dishwasher.
