  • the rubber cap 4 may be regarded as an extracting means or as part of an extracting means.
  • the rubber cap may be formed as a dropper.
  • the opening 3 may be sealed by a single use seal, e.g. an aluminium foil or by a coated paper cap.
  • the reservoir 2 may be refillable and reusable (e.g. by washing, refilling, and replacing the rubber cap 4).
  • the reservoir 2 and eventually the whole capsule 1 may be recyclable.
  • the capsule 1 further comprises a level sensor 5 for sensing a level L of the liquid fragrance F in the reservoir 2.
  • the capsule 1 also comprises a wireless communication means in form of a passively readable NFC chip 6.
  • the NFC chip 6 is connected to the level sensor 5 such that by querying the NFC chip 6, the NFC chip 6 may wirelessly send information regarding the level L of the liquid fragrance F measured by the level sensor 5. When queried, the NFC chip 6 may additionally send information regarding the type of fragrance F, an identifier of the capsule 1 , etc.
  • the capsule 1 may comprise an optical tag (e.g. a barcode a QR code etc., not shown) to make available further information. Alternatively, the capsule 1 may be used for storing solvent.
  • Fig.2 shows a fragrance mixer 7 comprising a seat 8 for a fragrance cartridge 9.
  • the fragrance cartridge 9 is replaceable with respect to the fragrance mixer 7.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 may comprise several seats 8 for fragrance cartridges 9.
  • the cartridge 9 comprises a housing 10 having three seats 1 1 for seating a respective reservoir in form of a replaceable capsule 1 .
  • the capsules 1 contain different liquid fragrances F1 , F2, and F3 with respective levels L1 , L2, and L3.
  • the capsules 1 may also be regarded as "cartridges in a cartridge".
  • the reservoirs could be fixedly positioned in the housing 10 and may thus not be replaceable.
  • the cartridge 9 may comprise a wireless communication means 12 in form of a reader for communication with the NFC chips 6 of the capsules 1 .
  • the communication means 12 may be an rf tag (e.g. an NFC tag). This may be particularly advantageously for the case that the reservoirs are not replaceable.
  • the communication means 12 may be used as an alternative to having individual NFC chips 6 or such.
  • the communication means 12 of the cartridge may be an optical tag.
  • the cartridge 9 may be re-usable and/or recyclable.
  • the cartridge 9 may be waterproof, hermetic and/or UV opaque.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 further comprises extracting means 13 for selectively extracting the liquid fragrances F1 to F3 from the respective reservoirs 2.
  • the extracting means 13 may also comprise a pump, at least one valve, and/or a flow meter (not shown) for extracting the fragrances F1 to F3 in a particularly precise manner.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 also comprises a blending chamber 14 for mixing the liquid fragrances F1 to F3 to a fragrance blend.
  • the blending chamber 14 may be associated with a level sensor (not shown).
  • the fragrance mixer 7 comprises a dispensing means (e.g. comprising a pump, a dosing valve, and/or a flowmeter etc.) to dispense the fragrance blend from the blending chamber 14, e.g. into a bottle, onto a test strip, to a spray nozzle and so on.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 may further comprise a user interface in form of a touchscreen 15. A user may input selections and/or commands via the touchscreen 15 for composing an individually fragrance blend.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 may present the available fragrances F1 to F3 etc. on the touchscreen, and the user may select some or all of the fragrances F1 to F3 and their relative quantities.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 then mixes the selected fragrances F1 to F3 in their relative quantities to produce the fragrance blend.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 additionally comprise a wireless communication means 16 in form of a reader for communication with the NFC chips 6 of the capsules 1 and/or the communication means 12 of the cartridge 9.
  • the communication means 16 may also be used to determine the amount of fragrances F1 to F3 extracted from the capsules 1.
  • the fragrance mixer 7 may further add an amount of solvent to the fragrance blend to get a selected type of fragrance blend (a perfume, a cologne etc.).
  • the fragrance mixer 7 may comprise a control module to control an operation of the fragrance mixer 7.

Abstract

Une cartouche de parfum (1 ; 9) selon l'invention comprend au moins un réservoir rechargeable (2) pour stocker un parfum correspondant (F ; F1-F3), au moins un capteur de niveau (5) pour détecter un niveau (L ; L1-L3) du parfum (F ; F1-F3) stocké dans le réservoir correspondant (2), et au moins un moyen de communication sans fil (6) connecté à un capteur de niveau correspondant (5) pour communiquer au moins le niveau (L ; L1-L3) du parfum (F ; F1-F3) dans son réservoir (2). Un mélangeur de parfum (7) selon l'invention comprend au moins un siège (8) pour une cartouche de parfum (9). L'invention est particulièrement applicable au stockage de parfums destinés à être utilisés dans des mélangeurs de parfum.
