Description

Sunroof device
The present invention relates to a sunroof device.
For example, a sunroof device described in Patent Document 1 is known. This sunroof device includes a frame-like base panel (housing) placed on the periphery of an opening formed in a roof of a vehicle, and a sunroof unit having a pair of guide rails and the like attached under the base panel And a plurality of panels disposed above the base panel and capable of closing the opening.
Normally, in such a sunroof device, the peripheral edge and the base panel are not interrupted over the entire periphery of the peripheral edge of the opening so as to surround the peripheral edge of the opening and all of the plurality of fastening parts of the base panel. An annular seal member is interposed therebetween. This seal member prevents external water (water entering the outer peripheral side of the seal member) from entering the inside. Similarly, a weather strip is interposed between the two edges and the plurality of panels without being interrupted over substantially the entire length of both edges of the base panel in the width direction of the vehicle. The weather strip prevents external water (water that has entered the outside of the weather strip in the width direction of the vehicle) from entering the inside.
Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2005-162099 (FIG. 2)
By the way, it is also considered that the base panel is omitted and the sunroof unit is placed directly on the peripheral edge of the opening. Specifically, the sunroof unit is formed in a frame shape by including a pair of guide rails and a housing that connects the front ends and the rear ends of the guide rails in the width direction of the vehicle. Then, a frame-shaped sunroof unit is placed directly on the periphery of the opening.
In this case, as in the sunroof, the gap generated at the connection portion between the guide rail and the housing is merely provided by inserting an annular seal member between the peripheral edge and the sunroof unit over the entire periphery of the peripheral edge of the opening. There is a possibility that external water may enter the inside through. Similarly, a connecting portion between the guide rail and the housing is obtained only by interposing a weather strip between the both edges and the plurality of panels over substantially the entire length of both edges of the sunroof unit in the width direction of the vehicle. There is a possibility that external water may enter the inside through the gaps.
An object of the present invention is to provide a sunroof device that can prevent external water from entering inside.
A sunroof device that solves the above problems includes a panel configured to close an opening formed in a roof of a vehicle, a sunroof unit that supports the panel, a seal member, a weather strip, a film member, Is provided. The sunroof unit includes a pair of guide rails mounted on a pair of first edges that are both edges of the opening in the width direction of the vehicle, and a pair of edges that are both edges of the opening in the vehicle front-rear direction. The frame includes a pair of housings that are mounted on the second edge and connect the front ends and the rear ends of the guide rails in the vehicle width direction. Hereinafter, an embodiment of the sunroof device will be described. Hereinafter, the front-rear direction of the vehicle is simply referred to as “front-rear direction”, the front and rear in the vehicle front-rear direction are simply referred to as “front” and “rear”, respectively, and the upper and lower portions in the height direction of the vehicle are simply “Upper” and “lower”. In addition, the width direction of the vehicle is simply referred to as the “width direction”, and in the width direction of the vehicle, the side toward the inside of the vehicle compartment is referred to as “the vehicle interior”, and the side toward the outside of the vehicle compartment is referred to as “the vehicle outside”. That's it.
As shown in FIG. 1, a substantially rectangular opening 11 is formed in a roof 10 of a vehicle such as an automobile. The opening 11 has an opening edge 11a having a substantially rectangular tube shape extending downward from the upper surface of the roof 10 over the entire circumference, and the inner periphery side (the center of the opening 11) from the entire lower end of the opening edge 11a. Side) and a peripheral edge portion 11b having a substantially square frame shape. The peripheral edge portion 11b is positioned in the width direction of the opening 11 so as to extend between the pair of first edge portions 11c extending in the front-rear direction and the first edge portion 11c on both sides of the opening 11 in the front-rear direction. And a pair of second edge portions 11d extending in the direction.
The roof 10 has an inner peripheral wall that defines the opening 11, and the inner peripheral wall has a vertical wall that defines the opening edge 11 a of the opening 11, and a horizontal wall (or support wall) that defines the peripheral edge 11 b of the opening 11. Have. The horizontal walls (or support walls) are a pair of first horizontal walls (or first support walls) that define the first edge 11 c of the opening 11 and a second horizontal wall that defines the second edge 11 d of the opening 11. (Or a second support wall).
The roof 10 is provided with a front panel 12, a center panel 13, and a rear panel 14, which are substantially rectangular panels made of, for example, a glass or resin plate in the front-rear direction. The front panel 12 and the rear panel 14 are attached so as to always close the front part and the rear part of the opening 11 respectively. On the other hand, the center panel 13 is attached so that the center part in the front-back direction of the opening 11 can be opened and closed. In other words, the center panel 13 is attached so that a tilt-up operation in which the rear portion rises with the front portion as a fulcrum and a slide operation in the front-rear direction are possible. In the opening / closing operation by the center panel 13, a so-called outer sliding type is employed in which the center panel 13 slides while being tilted up.
A sunroof unit 20 is placed on the peripheral edge 11b. The sunroof unit 20 has a frame portion 25. The frame portion 25 includes a pair of guide rails 21, a pair of housings, a front housing 22 and a rear housing 23, and a center housing 24. The pair of guide rails 21 are placed on both first edge portions 11c of the opening 11 (both edge portions in the vehicle width direction). The front housing 22 and the rear housing 23 are placed on both the second edge portions 11d of the opening 11 (both edge portions in the vehicle front-rear direction). The front housing 22 connects the front ends 21a of both guide rails 21 in the vehicle width direction. The rear housing 23 connects the rear ends 21b of the guide rails 21 in the vehicle width direction. The center housing 24 connects the intermediate portions 21c in the front-rear direction of both guide rails 21 in the vehicle width direction. The guide rail 21 is made of, for example, an aluminum alloy extruded material, and both the front housing 22 and the rear housing 23 are made of, for example, a resin material.
The front panel 12 is supported on the frame 25 (sunroof unit 20) by being placed on the front housing 22. The rear panel 14 is supported by the frame portion 25 (the sunroof unit 20) by being placed on the rear end regions of the guide rails 21, the rear housing 23, and the center housing 24. The sunroof unit 20 has a pair of functional components (not shown) supported by the guide rails 21 so as to be movable in the front-rear direction. The center panel 13 is linked and supported by them in a state of being bridged between both functional parts. The center panel 13 performs the aforementioned opening / closing operation in accordance with the movement of both functional parts in the front-rear direction.
A substantially square annular seal member 30 made of, for example, urethane resin is joined to the lower surface of the frame portion 25. The seal member 30 is interposed between the peripheral edge portion 11b and the frame portion 25 so as to overlap the peripheral edge portion 11b and the frame portion 25 and the height direction of the vehicle over the entire periphery of the peripheral edge portion 11b. On the other hand, linear weather strips 35 made of a synthetic rubber such as EPDM or an extruded material of a thermoplastic elastomer are joined to the upper surfaces of both edge portions 25a in the width direction of the frame portion 25, for example. The weather strip 35 covers the panels 12 to 14 over the guide rail 21, at least a part of the front housing 22 connected to the guide rail 21, and at least a part of the rear housing 23 connected to the guide rail 21. In addition, it is interposed between the panels 12 to 14 and the frame portion 25 so as to overlap the frame portion 25 in the height direction of the vehicle.
Next, the water stop structure by the seal member 30 and the weather strip 35 will be described. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, each guide rail 21 has a flange portion 21 d that extends outward from the vehicle toward the first edge portion 11 c. An end region on the vehicle outer side of the flange portion 21d overlaps the first edge portion 11c. On the other hand, the sealing member 30 described above has a constant cross section of a substantially square shape. At a position corresponding to the guide rail 21 (frame portion 25), the seal member 30 is joined to the lower surface of the end region on the vehicle outer side of the flange portion 21d by an appropriate adhesive, and the flange portion 21d and the first edge portion 11c. It is inserted in a compressed state. Both the front housing 22 and the rear housing 23 have a wall portion 26 (see FIG. 4) that is flush with the flange portion 21d and is connected to the flange portion 21d. The configuration and operation of the wall portion 26 are the same as those of the flange portion 21d. At a position corresponding to the housings 22 and 23 (frame portion 25), the seal member 30 is joined to the lower surface of the end region on the vehicle outer side of the wall portion 26 with an appropriate adhesive, and the wall portion 26 and the first edge portion are joined. 11c in a compressed state.
Further, the above-described weather strip 35 integrally includes an attachment base portion 36, a hollow seal portion 37, and a seal lip portion 38. In the width direction, the dimension of the mounting base 36 is set sufficiently longer than the dimension of the seal member 30. At a position corresponding to the guide rail 21 (frame portion 25), the mounting base portion 36 is joined to the upper surface of the end region on the vehicle outer side of the flange portion 21d with an appropriate adhesive. In addition, in the position corresponding to the housings 22 and 23 (frame part 25), the attachment base part 36 is joined to the upper surface of the edge part area | region of the vehicle part outer side of the wall part 26 with a suitable adhesive agent.
The hollow seal portion 37 includes a first bent portion 37a extending upward from the end of the mounting base 36 on the vehicle inner side, and a second bent portion 37b extending upward from the central portion in the width direction of the mounting base 36. The hollow seal part 37 forms a hollow cross section by connecting the upper ends of the first bent part 37a and the second bent part 37b. The first bent portion 37a has a longer extension length than the second bent portion 37b, and is curved so as to tilt outward as it extends upward. For this reason, the hollow seal portion 37 is in a posture of lying on the outside of the vehicle. The weather strip 35 elastically contacts the lower surfaces of the panels 13 and 14 at the hollow seal portion 37. The hollow seal portion 37 forms a seal surface 37c that comes into contact with the lower surfaces of the panels 13 and 14 in a posture that lies sideways on the vehicle exterior with respect to the posture of the elastically restored state shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG.
The seal lip portion 38 has a lower extending portion 38a extending downward from the vehicle outer end of the mounting base 36 so as to cover the end surface of the flange portion 21d (or the wall portion 26) on the vehicle outer side, and the lower end of the lower extending portion 38a. To the vehicle outer side obliquely upward. The weather strip 35 elastically contacts the opening edge 11a at the bent portion 38b.
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the connection portion (or connection region) 27 to which the guide rail 21 and each of the housings 22 and 23 are connected has a vehicle outer end surface 27a, a lower surface 27b, and an upper surface 27c. The connection part 27 is an area including the boundary between the guide rail 21 and the housings 22 and 23, the part of the guide rail 21 near the boundary, and the part of the housings 22 and 23 near the boundary. A film member 40 is wound around the connection portion 27 in a U-shape so as to cover the vehicle outer end surface 27a. That is, the film member 40 includes a connecting portion 41 that covers the vehicle outer end surface 27a, a lower side portion 42 that is connected to the lower end of the connecting portion 41 and covers the lower surface 27b, and an upper surface 27c that is connected to the upper end of the connecting portion 41. And an upper portion 43 to be covered. In a state where the film member 40 covers the connection part 27, the lower side part 42 is sandwiched between the connection part 27 and the seal member 30, and the upper part 43 is connected to the connection part 27 and the attachment base 36 (weather strip 35). It is sandwiched between.
And in the position corresponding to the connection site | part 27 (frame part 25), the sealing member 30 is joined to the lower side part 42 which covers the lower surface 27b with a suitable adhesive agent, and the lower side part 42 and the 1st edge part 11c, It is inserted in a compressed state. Similarly, at a position corresponding to the connection site 27 (frame portion 25), the attachment base portion 36 is joined to the upper portion 43 covering the upper surface 27c with an appropriate adhesive.
As shown in FIG. 3, at the position corresponding to the guide rail 21, the portion of the seal member 30 joined to the lower surface of the flange portion 21d is interposed between the flange portion 21d and the peripheral edge portion 11b. For this reason, for example, the seal member 30 prevents water that has entered below the seal lip portion 38 from entering the vehicle interior from the gap between the opening edge 11a and the seal lip portion 38 (flexible portion 38b). Similarly, at the positions corresponding to the housings 22 and 23, the seal member 30 interposed between the wall portion 26 and the peripheral edge portion 11b suppresses the entry of water into the vehicle interior.
When the center panel 13 is in the fully closed state, the weather strip 35 joined to the upper surface of the flange portion 21d is positioned at the position corresponding to the guide rail 21 and the lower surface of the end region on the outside of the panels 13 and 14. It is interposed between the flange portion 21d. At this time, the hollow seal portion 37 forms a seal surface 37c that comes into contact with the lower surfaces of the panels 13 and 14 in a posture in which the hollow seal portion 37 is laid down on the vehicle outer side with respect to the posture in the state of being elastically restored. For example, when high-pressure cleaning or the like, when external water W1 that has entered below the panels 13 and 14 from the gap between the opening edge 11a and the panels 13 and 14 collides with the seal lip portion 38, the inside of the vehicle like water W2 is formed. Leap to the side. The water W2 splashed to the inside of the vehicle presses the hollow seal portion 37 and tries to deform the hollow seal portion 37 so as to approach the posture in the state of being elastically restored. That is, the water W2 presses the hollow seal portion 37 in the direction in which the hollow seal portion 37 is in close contact with the panels 13 and 14. Thereby, sealing performance can be improved. Even at positions corresponding to the housings 22 and 23, the weather strip 35 similarly suppresses the ingress of water between the wall portion 26 and the panels 12 and 14.
On the other hand, at the position corresponding to the connection portion 27, the vehicle outer end surface 27 a of the connection portion 27 is covered by the connecting portion 41 of the film member 40, and the lower surface 42 b and the upper surface 27 c of the connection portion 27 are covered by the lower side portion 42 and the upper portion 43. Each is covered. By covering the connection portion 27 with the film member 40, there is substantially no gap between the guide rail 21 and each of the housings 22, 23, and the guide rail 21 and each of the housings 22, 23 are connected. For this reason, for example, the water that has entered the lower portion of the seal lip portion 38 through the gap between the opening edge 11a and the seal lip portion 38 (flexible portion 38b) enters the vehicle inside from the lower portion of the connection portion 27. 30 and the film member 40. Alternatively, for example, the water that has entered the lower portion of the seal lip portion 38 from the gap between the opening edge 11a and the seal lip portion 38 (flexible portion 38b) enters the inside of the vehicle from the upper side of the connection portion 27. And suppressed by the film member 40.
A substantially U-shaped groove D1 is defined by the opening edge 11a, the peripheral edge 11b, and the seal member 30 below the seal lip 38. A substantially V-shaped groove D2 formed by the groove D1 and the seal lip 38 communicates with an appropriate drainage channel. Therefore, the water collected in the grooves D1 and D2 is discharged to the outside of the vehicle through the drainage channel.
Next, the effect of this embodiment will be described.
(1) In the present embodiment, the vehicle outer end surface 27a of the connection part 27 is covered by the connecting part 41 of the film member 40, and the lower surface 42b and the upper surface 27c of the connection part 27 are covered by the lower side part 42 and the upper part 43 of the film member 40. Each covered. Thereby, in the connection site | part 27 covered with the film member 40, a clearance gap does not exist substantially between the guide rail 21 and the housings 22 and 23, and the guide rail 21 and the housings 22 and 23 are continued. A seal member 30 is interposed between the peripheral edge portion 11b and the frame portion 25 so as to overlap the peripheral edge portion 11b and the frame portion 25 and the vehicle height direction over the entire periphery of the peripheral edge portion 11b of the opening 11. By doing so, it is possible to prevent external water (water that has entered the outer peripheral side of the seal member 30) from entering the inside. Alternatively, the panels 12 to 14 and the frames 25 are overlapped with the panels 12 to 14 and the frame 25 in at least a part of the guide rail 21 and the housings 22 and 23 connected to the guide rail 21. The weather strip 35 is interposed between the frame portion 25 and the outside water (water that has entered the outside of the weather strip 35) can be prevented from entering the inside.
(2) In the present embodiment, the hollow seal portion 37 that elastically contacts the lower surfaces of the panels 12 to 14 is placed on the lower surfaces of the panels 12 to 14 in a posture that lies sideways on the vehicle exterior with respect to the posture of the elastically restored state. The sealing surface 37c which contacts is formed. Therefore, for example, when water that has entered from the gap between the opening edge 11a and the panels 12 to 14 splashes sideways and presses the hollow seal portion 37 from the outside of the vehicle, the hollow seal portion 37 stands up on the inside of the vehicle. That is, it tries to be deformed so as to approach the posture in the state of elastic return. Therefore, the sealing performance can be further improved by pressing the hollow seal portion 37 so as to be in close contact with the lower surfaces of the panels 12 to 14.
(3) In this embodiment, since the base panel as in the conventional embodiment can be omitted, the mass of the entire apparatus can be reduced. Alternatively, the number of parts can be reduced and the cost can be reduced.
(4) As shown in FIG. 2, in this embodiment, the weather strip 35 is disposed at the outermost end in the width direction of the sunroof unit 20 to ensure the sealing performance. Functional parts can also be placed on the outside of the vehicle. Further, it is not necessary to provide a weather strip separately inside the weather strip 35 to ensure sealing performance. Thus, by efficiently using the space outside the vehicle, the opening width of the indoor opening in the vehicle width direction can be increased accordingly.
In addition, you may change the said embodiment as follows.
In the embodiment, the seal lip portion 38 of the weather strip 35 may be omitted. In this case, the external water that has entered the lower part of the panels 12 to 14 through the gap between the opening edge 11a and the panels 12 to 14 collides with the peripheral edge 11b and jumps to the inside of the vehicle.
In the above-described embodiment, the hollow seal portion 37 of the weather strip 35 may have a shape that protrudes upward in a dome shape, for example.
