A distance between a bottom portion of the semicicular opening and the other lengthwise side of the skid (2) ranges from 60 mm to 120 mm. The handle (1) has a diameter of 25 mm. The radius of the semicicular opening ranges from 90 mm to 145 mm. The skid (2) has a thickness ranging from 20 mm to 30 mm. The drill pipe raising/lowering tool enables the drill pipe (4) to be lifted from the ground conveniently, thereby facilitating thread connection between a female thread at an end portion of the drill pipe (4) and a connector.
