Abstract

The present invention provides a solution for a system designed for selling non-refundable bookings, in order to aid the customer to sell a non-refundable booking; there are always people somewhere in the world who, for some reason, need to travel on short notice, for business reasons or even on holidays, and who would like to pay a more reasonable price, since last minute bookings in a specific hotel are always much more expensive. This solution for a system selling non-refundable bookings would allow those who made a booking to reduce their losses and those wishing to travel to pay a reasonable price; those selling would not lose all their money (which in most cases is a very high sum).hThe solution is aimed at helping travellers who booked hotels and who for various reasons must cancel their trip. Most bookings are not refundable and the solution using the system which is the object of the present patent would help travellers to sell their bookings, even if at a lower price, so as not to lose the total amount paid. This solution allows changing at no cost only the name of the person booked. At present, this solution does not exist in practice and many people have lost much money because there is no mechanism allowing a non-refundable booking to be sold in a situation as mentioned above.
