Description

USER'S ASTROLOGICAL DATA APPLICATION METHOD FOR PROVIDING TARGETED INFORMATION
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
1 . Field of the invention
[001 ] The proposed method uses astrological data for user profiling to provide him/her with targeted information, goods and services that match the specific profile.
2. Background of the invention
[002] In order to effectively present contextual advertising of goods and services and other similar information to users, marketing guidelines require the mandatory selection of the target audience and the provision of the appropriate target context to specific market segments or individual users.
[003] There are known market segmentation methods, for example, according to the patents and patent applications US 2006/0167747, US 7979880, US 8108245, and US 2016/0189230, which offer targeted advertising based on the analysis of the user's online activities, financial capabilities, preferences, etc. Similar methods are quite common, usually in the form of online banner messages. However, these methods have several deficiencies, i.e. information about the user's needs may not match reality, it may respond weakly to changing needs over time, etc.
[004] There are also known methods that use the user's basic astrological data, for example, according to scientific articles "Using astrology in market segmentation" (Management Decision 33(1 ):48-57, February 1995), "Sun-sign astrology in market segmentation: an empirical investigation" (Journal of Consumer Marketing 14(2): 1 13- 131 , April 1997), as well as according to patent US 09 / 871 ,437. Assuming that astrology has a foreseeable impact on user behaviour and preferences, the methods applied determine individual user segments (groups). Besides, these individual user groups are subject to targeted marketing programmes when offering goods and services, for example, beverages and tobacco.
[005] The main deficiency of these methods is the fact that only general astrological data of the user is used, and that users are grouped in segments, without analysing personal data, changes of this data over time, and other individual characteristics. [006] Another known user profiling method is a method according to patent US 12/270,858, where the astrological profile is determined electronically, based on the date and place of birth and other basic data. The user will be informed about the content of this profile used to select and offer targeted advertising to him/her. The system also stores information about the profile and provided advertising frequency.
[007] The method according to patent US 12/270,858 may be seen as the closest prior art for the proposed invention.
[008] However, this method has a number of deficiencies. It does not fully utilise the data to create a detailed classic personal horoscope. It is not possible to dynamically modify the astrological profile over time and based on the user's current location. Also, no high-quality computerised interpretation of the horoscope is available.
NATURE OF THE INVENTION
[009] These deficiencies of the closest prior art have determined the problem regarding the invention: there is no system in place to determine a comprehensive personal astrological profile of the user to provide him/her with personalised products, services, or other targeted advertising according to current expectations.
[0010] The problem defined the purpose and objective of the invention.
[001 1 ] The purpose of the invention is the opportunity to formulate and provide the user with personalised updated targeted information in the area of goods and services.
[0012] The objective of the invention is to create a method that can be used to determine an extremely accurate dynamic astrological profile of the user, including computer analysis with automatic delivery of results. The method must be able to select and provide the user with personal targeted information based on the user's current astrological profile.
[0013] The result of these objectives is a personal and dynamic approach to providing targeted information to the user. This will ensure the quality and efficient sale of products and services on the one hand, and user satisfaction on the other.
[0014] A more detailed description of the nature of the invention is available below.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [0015] The invention presents a user profiling method and system that collects and analyses the user's astrological data.
[0016] The invention is based on a newly created model of astrological knowledge that performs a set task without additional human involvement. The invention is based on a unique, newly created, mathematical model of classic astrological knowledge.
[0017] The invention is intended to provide selective, personalised, dynamic information to users, in order to advertise and sell goods and services. The information must comply with the person's psychological, emotional and general behaviour, intellectual condition and the most favourable conditions, based on the astrological aspects of the user's profile in a given time period.
[0018] The features and advantages of the invention will be described in more detail in a comprehensive description of the invention embodiments.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0019] Fig. 1 shows how the user's astrological profile is determined, and includes a diagram that shows how that profile is used to provide targeted information to the user when selecting car features included in an advertisement to the particular user. Fig. 1 shows the diagram of the user's astrological profile determination method. The method of providing targeted information to the user when selecting an automobile purchase is used as an example.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
[0020] The user's preferences and motivation may be calculated based on the position of planets at the time. This is done by using planet zodiac positions and a special algorithm (astrological matrix). The astrological matrix is based on the classical astrology knowledge and experience, and it consists of a set of data that correctly characterises the percentage of each planet's influence at the time, in each particular situation. The astrological matrix planet data are treated based on the principle (formulas) of a newly created mathematical model. These formulas determine the amount of data to be considered. The result is a percentage (0-100%) for each subject matter in question. The overall picture shows several dozen (hundred) characteristics. Graphs and descriptive concepts are created as a result.
[0021 ] Application of the invention is based on the collection and analysis of the user's astrological data. Incoming data may be collected anonymously or through direct user surveys in any available way. The options for anonymous data collection include the use of public sources of user personal data from social networks, chats and other internet sites. Direct surveys of users may be carried out by creating special computer applications, mobile applications, etc. Surveys of potential users may also be carried out by the supplier of goods, services or information. Other options are possible.
[0022] The necessary components to create a personal astrological profile include accurate information about the user's birth: date, time and place. Identifying the user's current location is also mandatory and it may be identified by asking the user directly or by using any navigation system. When using the internet, the location will be shown by the user's IP connection.
[0023] Additionally, any other known data can be used to compile the user's astrological profile, for example, important life events (moving to another location, marriage, birth, trauma, finding a job, etc.).
[0024] The next step in applying the invention involves the processing of user data. The processing is carried out by a computer program, based on the invented astrological and mathematical model and formulas.
[0025] The computer program analyses and interprets the results. This results in the design of the user's astrological profile, for example, in the form of percentage charts of various aspects of interest of the user's profile. The results may also be interpreted in a classical way, by supplementing the mathematical and graphical information obtained with detailed interpretation of text. This eliminates the need for personal contact with the astrologer for the interpretation of the mathematical and graphical information obtained.
[0026] The data results and interpretations reflect the user's psycho-intellectual condition, motivation and desires, as well as the most favourable psychological conditions at the time and other necessary aspects. [0027] Preferably, a single database should be created per user with regular updates of results according to the astrological profile. This database can be operated in a neural network to find even more direct mutual astrological profile results and apply them as needed.
[0028] In accordance with this invention, the astrological profile analysis results are intended to be used mainly for marketing purposes. Manufacturers and suppliers of goods and services may use the astrological profile database of users in order to assess their individual needs and capabilities. Based on this analysis, they may offer users personalised products, services and information that best suit their astrological dynamics in a given time period.
[0029] A practical example of the invention is displayed in Fig. 1 . It is an example of where the user is offered a targeted proposal (advertisement) to buy a car.
[0030] As seen in the figure, the method is based on the collection and compilation of the user's basic data:
• Exact date, time and place of birth,
• Current date and time,
• Current location of the user, which can be determined, for example, based on the user's IP address or GPS navigation system.
[0031 ] Input data is processed to determine the necessary components of the astrological matrix:
• The user's astrological natal chart at birth (planetary positions in signs of the zodiac and the horoscope home, as well as aspects between planets),
• The user's current astrological chart,
• Influence of time and space dynamics on the user's natal chart.
[0032] Mathematical analysis of the astrological matrix is used to design a mathematical model that can be used to determine the main factors that make up the values of the targeted car sales advertisement, including numerical values (ranges):
• Is a car necessary? (0-100% range),
• What is the current motivation for car purchases in the world? (0-100% range),
• Exact current motivation (0-100% range),
• Preferred car colour,
• Car model to be offered, • The most advantageous financial conditions,
• Other relevant characteristics of the car.
[0033] As a result, comparison and analysis of these factors is used to design the current targeted car sales advertisement offered to the particular user.
[0034] A similar chart can be used on mobile phones. In addition to the key factors that make up targeted advertisements for phone users, this could include changing the phone's appearance (colour, shape) and interface (interface colour, structure and layout) depending on the user and the current time.
[0035] The above options for applying the invention and its advantages serve as an example only and do not restrict the invention. The ideas of the invention may be used in any system of a similar type. This description has been provided for illustrative purposes only and it does not limit the scope of the invention. Alternative solutions, as well as modifications and variations of the invention may be obvious to experts in the field. Any features, structures, methods and other characteristics of the aforementioned examples of application can be combined in various ways to obtain additional and/or alternative examples of application.
