Abstract

A method consists in purifying milk contaminated by antibiotics of the tetracycline group by means of adding calcium hydroxide (Са(ОН)2) to the milk. The subsequent removal of the resulting insoluble chelated calcium salts is carried out by filtration. The method makes it possible to remove tetracycline group antibiotics from milk, and to use the entire volume of milk delivered to a dairy plant for dairy product production.
