Abstract

L'invention porte principalement sur un instrument de musique à vent à anche libre comportant un châssis sur lequel est monté un embout de soufflage débouchant dans un réservoir,et une pluralité de touches, chaque touche étant en liaison avec une soupape dont le déplacement engendré par l'actionnement la touche correspondante par l'instrumentiste met en relation le réservoir avec une première cavité amont qui débouche sur une lame faite d'une anche montée sur un châssis en permettant à la dite lame de vibrer. L'instrument est essentiellement caractérisé en ce que chaque lame (13,13a,13b) débouche, dans le sens de l'écoulement d'air soufflé, vers une ouverture d'écoulement d'air (20,20a,46b) vers l'extérieur, en ce que l'instrument comporte ainsi au moins une première pluralité d'ouvertures d'écoulement d'air (20,20a,46b) disposées dans un même plan, en ce qu'il comporte des moyens d'obturation (22,22a,44b) desdites ouvertures d'écoulement (20,20a,46b) actionnables par l'instrumentiste et aptes à adopter une première position ouverte dans laquelle l'air qui s'écoule par les ouvertures d'écoulement d'air (20,20a,46b) n'est soumis à aucune pression, et une seconde position fermée dans laquelle les moyens d'obturation (22,22a,44b) recouvrent simultanément toutes les ouvertures d'écoulement d'air (20,20a,46b), et en ce que depuis la première position jusqu'à la seconde position, les moyens d'obturation (22,22a,44b) sont aptes à adopter une multitude de positions qui augmentent la pression d'air au voisinage des lames (13,13a,13b) et en abaissant ainsi la fréquence sonore des lames considérées (13,13a,13b).
